This is the place to go to if youre losing your vision or have suddenly gone blind as an adult. They lost all their funding not to any fault of their own but the government just shut down all the funds for people who are blind. This makes it hard for this business to run and help others. But when it does it really does help they can help place you in a job help you figure out how to navigate as a blind person through the world with lessons on how to use a cane and typing to name a couple. You get connected with a counselor who hopefully will take the time to find out what your needs are and place you in the proper classes if they are still offering them. The counselor will also help you try to get a full-time job and get off Social Security that is their main goal. But they will help you in any Endeavor that you were trying to achieve as long as it is within reason. Check them out though totally if you need help and youre losing your vision or know someone who has or are going blind they have driving lessons for those who are still allowed to drive and some other shocking things that may be helpful to you. They gave me a free cane and a monocular so I can see addresses they taught me how to type and have given me a second lease on life. I only give this place 3 stars because its difficult to get things accomplished when theres no funding. Again this is no fault of their own this is the government.

Love this place! Personally and professionally, this is an awesome and much needed resource in our community! Its great. Its smart. And the staff are lovely and encouraging! They have thought of everything. It makes so much sense to use these services if you are visually impaired.

They really went the extra mile to help my daughter who has optic nerve atrophy. They hope to get into a good program to teach her how to live her life more independent. I highly recommend this office for their services

After waiting for four years to get a call back, I finally get an appointment, and then the director of the program spent most of the hour talking about how she was afraid of my service dog. This particular office has serious problems.
