Love this nail spot. Super well run, great customer service. Theyre efficient about walk ins, you can leave your number and theyll call you when its your appointment time if theyre busy. All the techs Ive had are great, but my favorite is T. The dip is clean, it lasts for three weeks, doesnt chip when it grows out.

The atmosphere was super nice and the people were also very nice. I went there for the first time and got the full set dip nails in a chrome color for Derby (I went 3 days before). I don’t usually get my nails done so this was a treat for me and I spent $75 on nails that chipped before I even got to the event. It’s a week later and they look really bad, but my coworker’s nails still look fresh and she went with me, also got chrome. Just be careful with who you get!

My mom and I got pedicures in Friday afternoon and the lady doing my pedicure did a good job but she dug out an ingrown toenail and now that toe is infected. I have had ingrown toenails cut out during a pedicure before at other salons and it has never gotten infected. Now I have to take a course of antibiotics and hope it goes away.

Absolutely love this place. I have been coming here for over a year & have had nothing but the best service. The staff are always so friendly & Vivian is my nail tech. Great place!

They didn’t have the colors my daughter and I picked so they just did other colors I didn’t pick and am not loving. I just got it done and it already looks bad, and cost way more than the place we usually go in the highlands. $164 for the two of us to get mani/pedis in colors we didn’t get to pick. 😢

I have been visiting Venetian Nails & Spa for over ten years. The shop is clean and follows all COVID guidelines. Technicians are also talented, friendly, and professional. After my first visit I have never gone anywhere else. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

The guy that did my acrylics was rude to me. i wanted long acrylics and showed him a pic he ended up not doing the rt shape and cutting them shorter then i asked. he also yelled at me. polish was all over my finger. the nails were so hard to get off. dont go to this place

I got my nails done for my birthday, they charged me $90 for my nails. I wanted gems on my 2 nails so, that added $10 which I didn’t mind,. Not even 24 hrs later the gems fell off! Some of my nails are even crooked! Really disappointed and won’t be back

I wont be back. The signage outside does not match what they charge you. They charged me an extra 5.00 for an opi nail polish thats supposed to last a week. Guess what? I already have a chip in it 9 hours later. They quote you one price then tack on extra charges. The nail teck told me they increased prices due to covid yet the manager said it wasnt. I think they just charge what they feel like. Pedicure was mediocre at best.

My first time going here for a basic Pedi/mani . I am a senior citizen. I was quoted a price over the phone. The nail tech increased the price. Asked me to put my feet in the tub & it was all hot water! She did a ok job! Not going back!!

Venetian Nails not only does amazing nails, but their service is amazing. Each time Ive come in, I feel welcomed. The atmosphere is positive and everyone treats each other professionally. Just left after scheduling an appointment this morning for this afternoon. I showed my nail tech, Hanna, a pic, she brought over swatches and nailed it. Got a gel manicure. In and out took an hour. She was amazing, and shaped my nails so well. I will be back! Ask for Hanna!!Edit: Gel manicure was $31.00 even. Heads up, they only take cash.

I finally found the nail salon I have been looking for. Venetian is well managed, great service, and whenever I have had my nails done, they are exactly how I wanted them. Plus no appointment needed! The staff is friendly and efficient which you dont see in a lot of salons. I recommend them to everyone!

Zero stars. Horrible! We have been customers on and off for several years. Quality has always been so-so but it’s been a convenient spot. Our latest experience was the last time we will do business at Venetian. My daughter’s nails were dipped and did not even last a week before cracking and chipping. We went back the following week, (which was the soonest we could get there) to have them redone and we were told we had to pay again, we should have called immediately. I could see saying next time please call immediately but instead they just got nasty and abusive towards us and accused us of trying to get free services and treating them like slaves. No such thing crossed our mind and they continued being abusive and disrespectful to us. Needless to say, we left and we will never be doing business with these people again. They obviously don’t care about the work they do or how they treat people. There are plenty of better options as close as across the street!

I have been going here for over 5 years and love the service and results! I moved a few years ago and have tried other salons closer but nothing has compared to the quality that Venetian offers. I love that no matter who I get they are well trained and able to deliver!

MY EYEBROWS ARE RUINED. I have naturally very thick eyebrows and I asked for a “clean up”. Usually they do a fine job but 20% of the time they wax them far too thin. Well, this time was worse than any other eyebrow wax I’ve ever had. I had a date right after this and I had to cancel it because my eyebrows looked so ridiculous. They were spaced out too far and started halfway above my eye. I looked crazy. Not only that, they were also waxed too thin. I don’t know how long it will take to grow back but I do know I am NEVER trusting them again to touch my face. I don’t know how well they do nails but I am never going back to that salon for anything. Please SAVE YOUR EYEBROWS and do NOT let them touch them.

My 2 girls and I have been going to Venetian nail salon for quite some time. They have always been accommodating and helpful. Vivian and her staff provide amazing results in an professional environment. I highly recommend this salon-5 stars.

The salon is very nice. You do not need an appointment and the wait, if there is one, is not long. They offer a good selection of polish. Their pedicures are very well done. Instruments come out of a sealed package, so I believe they are clean. Their manicures are a different story. They work too quickly and each time I have had a manicure my fingers have all sorts of cuts/nicks around the nails. Polish is applied haphazardly. I no longer get my nails done there but continue to go for pedicures.

Excellent acrylic nails and pedicure. Clean, bright and modern spa. Kelly creates flawless nails and other staff members gave me an amazing pedi. She also professionally and beautifully applied my eyelash extensions on a separate visit. Pricing is fair. My new favorite place for the last two months!

I love to go here to get pedicures and my eyebrows done. Reasonable pricing. I love it whenever I get the guy named Kenny. He seems to really know what hes doing when he gives pedicures.

Don’t go here if you don’t want your nails RUINED. First of all, this place was pretty expensive which wouldn’t have been a problem if it wasn’t for the fact that my gel manicure only stayed on for 5 days! If I’m paying $30-40 then I expect it to stay on for at least a week. It started chipping within 2 days, no joke! Let me also say that I’m not one to leave reviews often, but I just had to share my experience here. My mom also went with me and she told me that the nail technician that she had kept hitting her (the skin around her nails) with the electric nail file and when she complained that it hurt the lady argued with her saying that she was wrong and that it didn’t hurt! What?! An electric nail file isn’t good for your nails either and it’s just a lazy quick way to remove gel. My moms nails are also starting to chip and peel up. Lastly, they rushed us to get out. I understand that it’s busy and everything but that’s no excuse. There were several several different empty places to sit. Very unhappy and will never be going back. If I could leave no stars, I would.

I like the atmosphere and the quick in and out. They do an excellent job. The only thing I do not like is the rotary shaving tool they use to get Shellac off. It takes off a layer of the nail and weakens my nails. Other salons use polish remover and foil then use a hand tool to peel it off. I prefer that.

They do a pretty good job, but not the best. Twice the nail tech has cut my toe cuticles causing bleeding. Not very impressed.

Great service from checking in through my manicure. Tai is great at the desk...very nice and personable. Vivian gives a great manicure! Very professional and a good conversationalist. I will be back!

Great place to get your nails done. Very clean, I have been going for years and I have never had a problem. I request a certain technician and I have always been happy with the way my nails looks and how long the manicures and pedicures last.

I came to this salon to get my nails done before my trip to Florida and birthday. Once my pedicure was done, I on accident messed my toe up and he said he’d fix it. Later, he messed my other toe up himself and got mad at me for doing it. That made me really upset considering I didn’t mean to mess it up. I asked for white acrylics, expect he ended up giving me a French manicure which I didn’t want. Now it’s about a week and a half after getting them done, and my accrylic on my pointer finger popped off!! They are supposed to last about 4 weeks. Not very impressed and wouldn’t recommend them because I did not like the atmosphere.

I started going here after a few of my friends and family members recommended it. I will never go anywhere else. The staff is so nice and friendly and they always do an amazing job. It is always busy no matter what time I go which shows they have loyal customers who keep coming back because the the great job they do.

They raised their prices, tacked on a Covic 19 fee, without telling you. I asked about the price, was told they had to put up barriers because of the virus and their charging more to cover the price of them.We wont be back.

Received a gift certificate from my daughter. I visited June 2017. First and last time there. Beautiful decor...but thats all. The techs are extremely rude. They rush you through and act as if they are doing you a favor. Very, very uncomfortable. I received a mediocre pedicure and a horrible manicure. I received both in less than 45 minutes. Techs were pushing products on you. I witnessed a verbally abusive situation against a very elderly customer. I will never go back and I will tell everyone that asks what i think of this place. I have patronized one place for 9 years that puts this place to shame at half the price. I think people go there because of prestige only. How sad!!! Hope owners read this and make changes. By the way four of us went together that day and a have the same concensus..

Best nail salon in Louisville by far. Beautiful, clean and relaxing. I always book appointments with my favorite nail technician and she always does an excellent job. I have been getting my nails done at Venetian for years.

I used to go here frequently as my office if behind the mall. I have stopped going due to the customer service & rushed atmosphere. The last time I went the technician was rude. She did not use spacers or the foam flip flops. When she put my feet into my own shoes, it ruined the polish. I could not walk in my shoes as they are leather & my feet were slick from the lotion. She chastised me several times she she repaired my polish. I left with a less than perfect pedicure. She gave me change in the fashion in which the smallest bill was a $5 insuring a better tip. This is my 2nd time trying it again due to convenience. I will not go there again.

I agree with another review before mine... i was rushed and made to feel bad because i wanted a another color that did not match the gel color i was expecting. The nail tech was in such a rush and almost rude about the color. Then she put the wrong polish on and it sonewhat burned my nails in the light machine. I wont be back! Sorry! 👎 Absolutely miserable experience! 😥

On Sunday, May 29 At 3 oclock I went to Venetian Nail & spa, Paddock Shops, 4306 Summit plaza Dr .to get a full set of nails—this is the second time I went to Venetian . The last time was in January.The first time I went there I was wearing very casual clothes and the lady who was doing my nails was acting like ” who are you and what are you doing in here?”, as if I was not good enough to go to their shop. This was my feeling the whole time I was sitting there . I have had my nails done regularly for many, many years and have encountered this type of attitude.I felt very uncomfortable and I was thinking, “ This is America--No one should treat anyone this way. “ I didnt say anything I told myself, maybe Im mistaken but after being in this country for 30 years I think I know when I am not welcome in a business. Anyway, before she polished my nails, I gave her big tip and only then did she tried to be nice to me .I left and decided not to use them again till Sunday, May 29.Becuse it was Sunday, I had just left a pool My hair wasnt fixed and was curly and I dressed casual and I didnt wear make up .I entered the place --they have there price list on the window and I had been there before so I knew what they charged. A girl named Kelly took me .When I sat she said its $33, I said I know, thats ok .She said “are you sure you want to do it?”I said yes then she put the nail tips on and I showed her they way I want my nails. She said, its $10 extra in very rude way and again she was looking down at me and I felt very bad .I ask her “why is it $10 extra ?” She said “because its long and the shape, ” So, I said dont worry go short and just do the regular shape-- she said thats $5 more.I said “your price on the sign is $33-- why is it $5 more?” she said “thats a way it is and I have to make sure that you have money .” The way she was talking me --making me feel like Im nothing .So I got up and said “I dont want it “.The receptionist started to apologize to me because of the nail technician’s rudeness. I told her “I felt like I have been discriminated against because of my looks and accent and that Im not a white American -- you all are not American how can you treat human being like this? “She continued apologizing .When I looked around I noticed all the costumers are all white and American and they dont like and welcome any others.When I left I felt cheap and thinking-- why should a person or business treat someone the way they did me?

4 of us went there today for pedicures & dipped nails. I like the fact that you can shop around and they will call you when they are ready for you. However, once we sat down for the pedicures, the attitude was very disappointing. The ladies were very rude, rushed through the pedicures and were very quick to tell us to pay them before our shoes were even back on. Cash only also....but they do have an ATM you can use for a substantial fee. I paid for a pedicure for myself with gel polish, a pedicure with French manicure for my 12 year old and acrylic dipped nails for my 15 year old. Total was $170! I guess you pay for “the location” rather than the a relaxing service & politeness. Not to mention, I personally think that it is extremely rude when people that work there talk amungst themselves in a foreign language rather than speaking English like we know they can (because they would ask us questions in English). We will never be back. Btw....the salon we normally go to for the same services I listed above would’ve been $105 and they have the courtesy of talking to us and amongst each other in English.

I came to get my nails and feet done for my birthday. The lady that was attending me was very rude and I felt like she was judging me. I had a $50 gift card and the owner said I have enough to cover for both, when it came the time to pay they charged me $94 saying that my nails took to long to do and they had to change extra when they should have only charged me for the job not the time. This place has very rude people and they rip you off major time.DO NOT COME HERE.

This is the place I ALWAYS go to in louisville. Everything is priced reasonably and their work is done well. The only downfall is having to tip in cash, tipping on a card isnt accepted. I rarely carry cash on me so I have to be mindful before I go in.

If I could give no stars I would. I got almond acrylic nails and let me just say I felt judged for what I got. My technician that I had acted as though almond nails are a crazy request. When I went to check out I found out that to FILE (which you file anyways when you get acrylic) is $10 more dollars!!! I was also embarrassed in front of everyone for words that had been said by my technician. Just an awful experience first time here and last time here as well. Would not recommend.

Very poor experience. I have major skin allergies and always take my own lotion when going for pedicures. This was my first visit to this nail salon. The lady doing my pedicure told me that it doesnt matter what lotion she uses, no one is allergic to lotion. She literally argued with me over this issue. I will NEVER go back. Last I checked this was a nail salon not a dermatology office.

Completely rude to me. I barely walked in the door and the person assigned to do my nails was irritated I wanted to pick out a color. Then rushed me and tried to pick one for me. I politely said I would like to pick my own I just got in here please give me one moment. I could see if I took even two min but this literally was within 30 seconds I annoyed them. The service was rushed and I had been there before but this tops the cake for me I will not be back. It was noticed enough for others to comment about it. If my sister wasnt treating me to a spa mani/pedi I would have walked out. I also didnt want to hear about his bedside manners with another man.

This place is negligent. They drill natural nails for shellac which can cause breakage, discomfort and infection. Against my better judgement allowed Technicians at 3 separate appts to drill my natural nails. I felt tingling and sensitivity after my last appt that took a few days to go away. I’m an RN and this is a huge red flag.... I will not be back.

This is the 3 time my Shellac has chipped after 3 days, on 3 different occasions. I went into the salon last Sunday my paint had chipped by Tuesday. I went back and the tech was rushed and cut my cuticle and now the paint has chipped again within 2 days. I have been going to this salon x 2 years and I am now looking for a new salon.

It took a very short amount of time, but not in a good way. The paint is not very well done, and the ends of my nails are scratchy and uneven. Instead of asking me where to move my hands they were just kind of pushed, not to mention that there is a piece of the paint brush stuck under about 2 of my nails. I dont think Ill find myself back at this salon anytime soon

The staff were very unfriendly. I understand that they see a lot of traffic during the day given the location, but my artist never said a word to me. The edges of my nails were barely painted. The gel polish did not cover to the edge basically. Im glad I used all of the gift card today, because I do not plan on ever coming back. It was a quick and sloppy job. I am unpleased.Go to LaVee Nails on Hurstbourn!! They are wonderful and do an amazing job every time. I only strayed away due to the gift card. I will never go anywhere else.

If you want to get your nails done well and spend less money... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Rude employees, got a acrylic set and pedi and they didn’t even use the scraper to get callouses off of feet. My nails are crooked and so thick. I also wanted the same color as my feet and he said they had the same color in gel but it’s way darker. So crowded and a waste of time and money.
