I have been going to KY nails for about 10 years and I love the ladies that own/ work there!!!!! They have always done a fabulous job on my nails!!!!

Definitely overpriced I was charged for a manicure when all they did was soak my hands in water and only water use the nippers to take off barely any of my cuticles using no cuticle cream or oils no massage to my hands... How is this a manicure???? Absolutely horrible and it was an upcharge because I went in for a full set...Im a licensed cosmetologist I know what a manicure is and I will never go there again cuz all they do is up charge you and not perform the service properly

I went into this place based on their reviews with really high hopes and they absolutely blew me away. They introduced me to dip nails, had wonderful conversation, and did beautiful work. Will be going back soon!

Upon arrival the door was locked and the lady wanted to ask questions as I and 12 yr old stood outside, not moving and allowing entry. After the third repeated question I finally said are you going to let us in or not its cold outside and she said okay. Pedicure basic and definitely poorly done!!! Did not remove dead skin ...I realized that I went to wrong shop, based upon referral. I should have gone to Excellent Nails. Will never come back to this dirty place again!

Horrible I got a gel acrylic set in my nails paid 65 dollars for them just to lift after 5 days of having them and not only was the lifting an issue they felt very thin and not stable!!

I havent had a mani and pedi, seems like in forever! When I first walked in they asked me to read their policy about Covid-19 and took my temp. Well, wait a min. When I first walked in the door, the fresh aroma of cleaning supplies was the first thing I noticed. They made me feel more than welcome! I told them my name when I first got there and as I was leaving, they replied with by Nesha, they still remembered my name. Great, great place! I most definitely will be back!

I love this place. I was recommended by my cousin who has been going there for years. I drive an hr every two weeks to get my nails done and a pedi every so often. I have never had a bad experience and they are so friendly. I recommend this place to everyone when they comment on how awesome my designs and nails look. These girls are amazing!

I lived in Louisville for 4 years and religiously went to Ky Nails. I got shellac every 3 weeks with Cassidy. The techniques she used ensure the polish was beautiful and didn’t chip or peel. I have yet to find another salon that has the quality of shellac they have there. They also treat their regulars well and are dedicated to making sure you’re happy with your nails.

I had never had my nails done until 4 months ago when I went to KY Nails after being referred by a friend. Now I get my nails dipped once a month and will never go anywhere else, even though it is quite a drive. They are friendly, funny, welcoming and very concerned about the quality of their work. Cassidy, Nicki and Tiffany work hard for their customers which is confirmed in their huge following. They get to know their clients with some being loyal for over 20 years which speaks volumes for their business!

Nikki & her girls are very welcoming& professional if you say otherwise your wrong in judgement! I have been doing business there for over 3 years& Ive never had a complaint about nothing! They care about their customers & total satisfaction! If you call& leave a message shes very prompt about calling back! Glad I found her!

This nail salon does great work, however their customer service is below average. When you walk into a company you expect to be welcomed with pleasant people, however the nail tech Nikki is rude to most, and to the regulars she likes, she will sit there and talk about the ones she doesnt like. A professional business owner or employee should NEVER talk about others to customers. Nikki has a bad thing of being rude to the point of hollering at customers if she doesnt like something they say or do. As I have said the quality of work is great, but the customer service really is lacking.

I love Nikki! She always does a great job on my acrylic gel manicures. It is very rare that I break one between appointments. Make sure you make an appointment, because she is VERY busy.

They have a full line of KS, SNS, OPI, and UNI dip powders to choose from. I promise you won’t be disappointed💕 They also have Shellac and Gel Polish for you toes!! Great for those Summer Vacations ⛱

Nikki treats her regular customers really well and knows exactly how they like their nails. Ive gotten acrylic nails from her for years, because she makes them look very natural.

I decided to stop at this particular nail shop based on the reviews that it received right here online, as well as based on the images of their work that I had seen posted to their facebook page. It was one of the three nail salons along my route to and from work and from my previous experience and from checking out online reviews, I ruled the other two out instantly. Although upon arriving I wasnt too sure about my decision, because the shop was so small and the technicians seemed too occupied to acknowledge me, but I now know why. They were busy because it was full and they also keep regulars, and considering the quality of my pedicure and my full set, I see why they have a loyal clientele!Other than with the quality of two other particular nail salon here in Louisville, Ive mainly been met with poor to mediocre jobs on my nails - from poor nail grooming to messy paint jobs. However, Ky Nails ranks among the superior nail shops in Louisville. Nikki, as well as the others do a thorough quality job and care very much about what they do, which obviously reflects on their quality. Ever since getting my nails done, I cant stop admiring them lol.Also, being one to notice the most detailed things, I see that my nails were crafted and painted to perfection. Worst experience EVER! A lady named Nikki was very rude!! The other girl who painted my 9 yr olds nails didnt get her name but was very nice and done a,good job ....But i got a full set Nikki did a,horrible job I get acrylic but it doesnt look like it usually does and normally I get French white tips but decided to just do polish...I told her my nails were not dry but apparently she need the dryer for her regular customer and insisted they were dry the polish was very sloppy done and before I got out the door two nails were messed up bcuz they were still wet as i kept telling her!! So she,half a**ed fixed them rushing me out the door by the time I got home they were a,hot mess! I only went there bcuz it was 5 mins from my house but I usually get them done at Kim nails in ferncreek never had an issue they do a,great job and its worth the drive .....Also EVERYTIME a customer left Nikki had something bad to say about them to the next customer and whenever they would leave she would do the same about that person! Totally unprofessional! I will Not be back and wouldnt recommend ky nails to anyone!!

Went in here Thursday, March 28, 2013 for a pedi....my first of the season. (I had gone polish-free all winter long to see if I could get used to the natural look. But decided since flip flop season was arriving, I needed to whip my toes into shape.) First time in....just happened to be the week before spring break. Never seen this place before, but my daughters were at their softball practice nearby and my GPS showed me to this nail salon. From the chatter going on with a couple other ladies just finishing their services, it appeared the salon has some regulars, and that made me feel good about my decision to give them a try. They had been busy all day long according to the workers comments. I chose a fun new color - pretty pastel blue polish for my toes, knowing I would be changing the polish color in two weeks for my wedding. The pedi went fine, although it was rushed as I was the last customer before closing. No time spent massaging my feet or calves, and that was disappointing. But I could tell they wanted to close up, as a gal was vacuuming while I was in the chair.Fast forward to April 11th, 2013, exactly 2 weeks later, I went to a different place near my moms house for a simple polish change, to change out the trendy blue for something neutral for my wedding day. Boy was I surprised and embarrassed when she revealed what she did! At first, I asked the lady what they spot was shed just uncovered, and she thought I may have dropped something on my right toe and bruised it, but I couldnt remember that happening and youd think something that would leave a bruise on your toe nail would really hurt! Youd remember! I had never seen a black mark on my nail before. It became clearer as she removed the polish from my left big toe, as it had the same black colored area, high up in my nail bed, along the edge. I had NEVER caught some strange fungus and Ive had regular pedis since I was 19! (Im now 38) I was mortified that this lady was working on my toes and I had something funky on them!I do not recommend Ky Nails at all! Apparently they dont clean their tools like they are supposed to.Ive been treating this fungus with OTC fungicide twice a day for over a month now and it hasnt gone away. Im afraid Im going to have to go to the doctor for something stronger! I havent had polish on my toes since 4/14/2013 (the day after my wedding). And I owe this nasty experience to Ky Nails. Im sure if I called them to went in there to show them, theyd say I caught it elsewhere. But having no polish on them for 3 months prior, I know for sure that I didnt!
