I was very pleased with my flooring installation. I received emails and texts ahead of time with instructions to prepare the room. The installers showed up promptly in the scheduled time window. They worked quickly and efficiently and I was impressed with their precise attention to detail. When finished, they cleaned up thoroughly and checked for my satisfaction before they left.

I purchased carpet and Romanoff was the installers. My appointment time window Was 8 AM till 11 AM. By 11 AM nobody had shown up or contacted me so I waited patiently until after 12 PM before I contacted Romanoff. I was told that they were running behind and I was the next stop. I was told they would be here by 2:20 PM which was already almost 3 hours outside of my installation window. I wasn’t happy but I obliged. By 3:00 PM no one still had arrived to install my carpet which means I had now sat through two installation windows with no installation done yet. I called Romanoff back again and I spoke with Leslie who told me she would contact the installers and she would call me right back or they would call me right back. A half hour later which was almost 3:40 no one had contacted me back so I called Romanoff back again, this is my third time calling today. Leslie answered the phone and said the installer was supposed to call me back so she will reach out to them to see where they’re at because they should be there. I asked to speak with the supervisor or manager who she said was in a meeting. The installers knocked on my door at 3:45 PM which was now almost 5 hours late from my installation window. They came in and began their job. About 4:00 PM I received a call from the supervisor who told me that my window was confused with another window or something to that nature which still was horrible because I never received a phone call from the installer or Romanoff to tell me that there was an issue and there was confusion so I can go on about my day until the next installation window timeframe. The manager did apologize and stated he will send me out a $25 gift card because that’s not the way they operate. However this installation process as far as the customer service goes was horrible. The installation was not finally complete until 7:30 PM which means I spent my complete day sitting in the house waiting for them when I could have possibly been getting other things accomplished. I’d NEVER recommend Romanoff for carpet installation. This should have been painless effort on my behalf as a customer but instead it was very unprofessional and not handled correctly on their behalf. The overall install of the carpet ended up good however the service is just not there.

Purchased carpet at Home Depot that was then contracted out to Romanoff Renovations for installation. I received a call from Romanoff Renovations shortly after my order and was told my carpet should arrive in a week or so. A week goes by and no call. So I called them asking for an update. This happens again a couple of weeks later. The day before the installation I receive a call at the crack of dawn from Romanoff Renovations stating that their installers may not make it tomorrow due to the bad weather. Thats completely understandable except I was told Id be called first thing the next morning to let me know their decision. Except, you guessed it, nobody called me and I had to initiate the call yet again.When the installers did arrive they were polite and did an excellent job installing the carpet. Minor gripe: I work from home and it was very obvious to the two installers from Romanoff Renovations. Unfortunately one installer wore his Airpods and sang karaoke in the back of my house while he was installing the carpet while I was working. Not a huge deal but I do think it was unprofessional.Again, the installation was quick & flawless. I just wish theyd more proactively communicate their customers.

Communication from start to finish was very good. Always provided ways to contact them with any feedback and encouraged reporting any dissatisfaction. Installers were very good at installing the carpet. Seems were virtually invisible. They were very friendly and professional. Great experience.

The carpet installers, Mr. Sanchez and his assistant, were amazing professionals. They arrived at the time they stated. They were organized and focused. They worked tirelessly. And, very importanly, they cleaned up meticulously!!!!! The carpet is a totally professional job! It looks great! We could not be happier. Thank you Romanoff Renovations.

Shawn was great. Very professional, efficient and possesses a great attitude. His work his amazing. He has done 4 different sections of flooring in my house and its all beautiful. And as woman, I feel comfortable having him work in my home. Also, any questions you might have about your flooring will be answered. He is very knowledgeable about his work.

If you are looking for a company that shows up on time for their appointments, this is NOT the company for you. Bought carpet at Home Depot, these guys were scheduled to install it for over a month. Took the day off work, arranged for my pets to be elsewhere, arranged for multiple people to come help me move furniture out and back in after the installation, stayed up all night getting the house ready and moving furniture to make their job easier, and what does Romanoff do? Calls me 30 minutes before their arrival time to tell me they won’t be coming and it would be 2 WEEKS before they could come out. I understand things happen but 2 WEEKS is completely unacceptable. I got a full refund at Home Depot and highly recommended to their manager that they drop these guys as installers. READ THE YELP REVIEWS TO FULLY UNDERSTAND JUST HOW UNPROFESSIONAL THESE GUYS ARE.

TERRIBLE! Carpet came apart at the seams. 2 very large seams came apart in the middle of the livingroom! It is in a t shape and is several feet long going both ways! We complained to Home Depot so a Romanoff employee came to look at it and told us it was our fault! We dont shop at Home Depot anymore and definitely will never use Romanoff Renovations again. I would love to post pictures but I dont see where there is an option. Youd be shocked if youd seen them! Now were getting ready to spend thousands more to replace this ridiculous carpet. 🤬

While things were slightly delayed from the supplier, Romanoff was very responsive and communicated throughout entire process. Quality of work was great!

This was our second project with Romanoff and I cant tell you how pleased we are with the results. Their team shows up when they say they will, they do an amazing job and leave the job site looking very tidy. Super high quality and I highly recommend!

The workers were very professional. Their work was excellent. Even went over and beyond by removing a difficult medal strip Id been struggling with from my old closet door. As they didnt mention this, I didnt notice until I was admiring my new carpet after they left. This kindness AMAZED me!

DO NOT GET FLOORING THROUGH HERE.Worst experience of my life with service and quality. They do not care about you or your experience. They partner with only one contractor in the area who has multiple complaints and reviews on numerous sites. When you contact Home Depot about installation issues they leave you on hold, transferring you all around until the line hangs up on you. When you finally get a hold of a manger they show no sympathy for the troubles you have been put through.We were offered a quoted price based on a Home Depot professional coming out, taking proper measurements and assesing our flooring needs properly. When the installers gave us the run around all morning then arrived hours late, no masks on and openly coughed while talking to my husband, I was pretty upset. I am pregnant and very concerned for my baby and Is safety during this troubling time. They came in pulled the carpet up said the floors were uneven and that we would need to pay extra. This was not agreed upon when in-person measurements and quotes were given. Seemed strange since I had floors installed through Home Depot with Romanoff installation before and those floors were super unlevel and they did not level them to install new flooring. That was a past nightmare I should have clearly learned my lessons then.Really seemed like they didnt want to do the work and had better things to do. I called Romanoffs office and told them about my horrible day thus far, no empathy, but the same response, you will need to pay extra. I told them if extra was needed then it will be handled by Home Depot, the company I hired and paid.The installers then said they would use plywood to fix the uneven flooring today and come back tomorrow to do the flooring. Unfortunately, we only had today available, so I asked them to leave. They left our floors tore up and rolls of carpet in our front lawn for us to take care of.I called Home Depot to request new installation with a different company. We had so many issues with Romanoff last time through Home Depot that have still not been fixed. I didnt want to deal with it all again. Finally, get someone to help me and she says we need to pay to have the floors leveled and we need to hire someone to sand them after they are leveled before they can install. What? I have to hire someone? So much for a full service flooring solution. No apologies for any of our troubles, no empathy for the headaches they caused. I canceled my installation and I am returning the flooring. We are hiring someone to come and sand and stain the floors they uncovered because they are actually really nice, level and seemless, minus a couple planks. Overall easy, cheap, gorgeous solution for us and we will never shop with Home Depot again.

I am pleased with the flooring job completed by Romanoff....There initially was a few issues. However, they stood by their work and made the situation right....I highly recommend Romanoff and their excellent team of employees that put in my flooring....These gentlemen took care in the project and were very meticulous . They were ontime, professional and cleaned up thoroughly. Again, I highly recommend Romanoff

The installation of carpet in our basement was wonderful. It is flat with no bumps or visible seams. The cleanup was complete and the installation team was very courteous.

This is our 2nd installation done through Home Depot by Romanoff Renovations. We were extremely happy with their professionalism again! Sam and Micah were the installers that came to complete the job. They did so quickly, were complimentary of our house overall, and didnt stop working the whole time. My arrival window was between 8 AM to 11 AM and Sam and Micah were able to show up at about 8:30 AM and were done by 11:30 AM. They were able to install the carpet with no damage to any furniture, walls, or baseboards. There were a couple places where seams were needed and we cant even tell where they were now. We even had a tricky trap door on the floor of our closet that leads to a large crawl space that had previously just been covered because the last installer couldnt make it accessible. Sam was able to do it and unless you knew it was there, one wouldnt be able to see it! We would definitely use Romanoff Renovations again, and may even ask for Sam and Mican specifically! Thanks!

If I could give them zero stars I would. The one star is generous. They are a horrible nightmare with zero customer care. If there’s still time- run! They sent a crew ill-equipped to remove tile (even though they came and measured and knew we had tile). They ripped up my carpet and left my house in shambles. Then, the next day they could come to do the job I already paid for was in 3 weeks! They sent me on a rat race back to Home Depot to get clearance to have the job split into two separate days, which I did, only to tell me that’s not possible. They offered zero compensation for their incompetence.

This company is a joke. They broke our water heater causing a leak. Then did every shady tactic to avoid responsibility.Do not use them.Do not use Home Depot that uses them as a contractor.Avoid them at all costs or you will be stuck with the repair bills for their shoddy work.If you go through Home Depot and find out it will be them cancel your order and go somewhere else.

Contractor bid for 2 days turned into almost a week, tried to keep charging me money for stuff that should have been added into the quote. When the person from home depot shorted us 100ft of quarter round on the measurements, Steven told me I would have to buy the material myself, instead of them talking with home depot and figuring out why I was shorted on a quote that we Paid In Full up front. Home depot is as equally bad, they wouldnt help me figure out why they shorted me on the measurements, and told me Romanov would have to call, Steven was told and told me that Id have to pay for it EVEN THO THE STORE SHORTED ME, then I Jesus the contractor even looked up the store had what i needed but couldnt even go get it and bring me a receipt? They got to leave early at like 2 in the middle of the day because they couldnt go 2 miles up the street and get it while I was at work. Ive missed work, and had to make arrangements for animals 5 days that we didnt plan now. And it seems everyday they find something wrong AGAIN! If we were not a week away from having a baby I would be fighting this contract and shady business every step but I dont have time to deal with it because I NEED THIS DONE, it was supposed to be 2 days 3 tops not a week!Buyers beware! DO NOT use Home depot or Romanov Flooring unless you want BAD customer Service and Shady dealings with an ever ending lack of results.
