I had Green Star Home install a walk-in shower, and if I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! Aaron, Michael and David showed up around 8:30 am and got to work! They only stopped for lunch and were busy the whole 2 days they were here. All three young men were very courteous and answered any questions I had. They were very careful carrying materials through my house and cleaned up after themselves and made sure I was satisfied before they left on the 2nd day. I would recommend this company to anyone! I have used the shower only once, and feel so much safer getting in and out.

Oftentimes, the truer mark of a good company is how they react when things don’t go according to plan. There were two issues with our installation, one was significant and the other one much easier to resolve. Both were handled as efficiently as possible, at significant cost and time to the company. The common refrain from their foreman, Michael, was that “we want you satisfied”. The bottom line was that we ARE satisfied and heartily endorse this company (and Michael) who came through even when things didn’t go as smoothly as both sides expected. THAT’S standing by their product and service!

Micheal and David came by to install my Walk in shower yesterday and it is absolutely perfect. They were very polite and kind enough to show me what was happening through the entire install. They took the time to clean up even better than it was before! From the moment I choose to work with green star, through the custom shower production and all the way to the install, everyone was polite and responsive! I highly suggest using Green Star to remodel your bath!

Tony removed existing tub enclosure and installed walk-in tub in only one day! He fully explained features & operations and patiently answered my many questions. Then he cleaned the work area & made sure I was satisfied with the finished project. I highly recommend Green Star Home for anyone wanting a walk-in tub.

GReen Star took out old shower and installed new one. Plus they installed a vanity and toilet. It all looks fantastic. The guys ...Mike, Tim, and David did top quality work. This is Sherry Beavers and I recently used Greenstar for a tub/shower remodel. The guys did a wonderful job and were very helpful throughout the entire process. We love our new shower!

We received a quote from this business and we will definitely not be using Green Star. A stamped wall and insert for $18,000 was definitely not what we had in mind when we scheduled the quote. The entire process was a huge turn off and as much as the salesman tried to represent this company as honest and no haggling, the entire quote process was a sales pitch from the very beginning - be prepared for an entire PowerPoint before the salesman leaves your home. The fact that they have a good for the year, good for the month, and tonight only offer price is a perfect example of the haggling this company does. And the product itself is literally just an insert with a stamp. The salesman that came out was going on about how he flips houses and he admitted he does not put this product in his own live-in flip homes. Clear indication that the return of investment clearly is not what they try to sell it as. The only perks he tried to use to sell this product was the fact that its easy to clean and takes one day to install. But compared to real tile or marble/granite, this product looks terrible and cheap. Definitely not worth $18,000 or even the $13,000 act now price. For just the wet space. In short, the quote was 2 hours of our time that we will never get back. Oh - and I am 9 months pregnant and the salesman was asking personal details about what labor process I had planned (he literally asked if I was planning a c-section or vaginal birth) which made my husband and I very uncomfortable.

Everyone was very professional and honest. Keeping us informed the whole way. Our installer, Tony was fantastic. Very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Im writing this review even though I havent had the opportunity to use them yet. I had made an apt using the site Angies List and within 24 hrs, had a text and email asking me about what services we would be needing. We set the appointment up with Matt. Matt was very courteous and very pleasant to speak with. He also said my last name correctly which does not happen very often! Matt was very accommodating and was flexible with scheduling our appointment since my fiance doesnt get home until 5:30 close to 6 in the evening. Unfortunately 2 hours close to our appointment time I had to cancel due to a death in the family. Matt was very supportive and sincere when he offered his condolences. I felt that Matt went above and beyond most companies Ive dealt with or even worked for in the past. AND OUR family hasnt even spent a dime with them yet. If their work is anything like their customer service is then Wow!! Seriously Wow!

I was pleased with the installation of my walk in shower. They showed up on time and it was done the same day. It was exactly what I was hoping for. I would recommend them to anyone that was wanting a walk in shower upgrade.

I had a bad porous tile shower that was installed incorrectly, had to do a complete renovation of my shower 🚿 They were extremely professional, easy to work with, clean, & very efficient. My husband and I chose to work with Green Star Home for our bathroom remodel for a few different reasons. From the start, we were very impressed with their knowledge in the industry which allowed us to feel more at ease during the entire decision making process. I had a shower put in, and they did an incredible job. The guys that came in were very considerate of my home and made sure to cover the carpets and vacuumed up afterwards. They were very friendly, informative, and got the job done ahead of time to perfection.

Got back to me with an estimate in a day or so... most companies took at lest 3 days to get back. They were very fair on the prices and didn’t mark up the supplier like 90% of the companies... as we were moving along with the project we decided to change few things around. They were pretty cool with it and didn’t give us any grief over it. Just good peoples to deal with, will recommend they deserve it!

I called Kyle to come out and take a look at the storm damage on our roof. They replaced my entire roof in one day and also fixed some water damage that they found. They left my home just as clean as it was before and my new roof looks awesome! Kyle is very professional and I would definitely use Green Star again.

Green Star Home Remodeling turned an ugly shower stall into a beautiful spa retreat. I love the quality materials they used, their installers were professional, courteous, and made sure we were happy with the end product. Will recommend them to anyone needing a remodel done in their house.

Total makeover of our 10’ x 18’’ kitchen one year ago. Not including appliances, floors, ceiling or painting. $30K. New cabinets, granite countertop, relocation of appliances, new lighting (6 cans), new ceiling fan and new pantry. Took long time to complete job, didn’t show up all the time. Used sub-contractors. Granite uneven, had to convince them it wasn’t acceptable and needed resetting. Because of total layout makeover, ceramic floor tiles don’t match. When trying to get job, Kyle said floor wouldn’t be a problem and would help us figure it out. Then when it was an issue, bailed. Charged us extra $700 to move pantry about 7”, which he said we signed off of on plans, we wanted it moved 15”. Several finishing imperfections that should have been his final walk thru, but had to make them come back on.

Made an appointment for a bathroom remodel at the Louisville Build, Renovate & Landscape Expo held at the convention center. The day before the appointment I received an email confirming the date and time of the appointment. I waited on a Saturday afternoon for two hours and no one came nor did I even receive a phone call. It has been four days and I still have not heard from them. Not sure what kind of work they do but if they cant be trusted to show up to provide their estimate how can you trust them to do the work?

I had my kitchen remodeled in May, and though I have to admit- it took a little longer than I had hoped, it was well worth it.There were some unexpected set backs, but Green Star handled everything so well! The installers were all very respectful in my home, and such hard workers. My kitchen looks even better than I had anticipated and my friends love it!This is definitely a company that knows what they are doing, and I would (and DO!) suggest them to everyone who is curious about some home improvement!Thank you Green Star ! I was referred to Kyle by a friend that had some work done recently. He was quick to get a estimate and had our new gutters installed within a week. They had the best price and fastest turnaround. We are very please with them!

This is one company you should definitely avoid. In January we contracted with them for a kitchen. It was not until May that they finally started. At that point it took them 5 weeks to finish. The installers would come late, leave early or not show up at all. They complained about their employer constantly and two walked out on the job because they were so mad at the owner. One day the supervisor and the electrician had a shouting match with each other in my home with me standing right there. They ordered the wrong size cabinets, drilled a hole through the kitchen wall and into the living room wall over the couch, and never did properly fix the floor tiles where the old cabinets were removed.The entire experience was unbelievable. I was so glad to finally get them out of my house even though I personally had to patch walls and paint over their mistakes.Do yourself and favor and keep looking.

Not super happy. Some work not finished. Felt like workers were pulled off the job. Basically (very) kitchen looks nice. Office very hard to find, no sign out front when we were there. Asked for pull out pantry and got drawers. Stove is 3 taller than counter. Looks terrible. Hard for person in a wheelchair.

We were looking at installing a walk-in tub in our bathroom, and in researching them, chose one that actually offered a person to come to our house and measure and talk with us about them. All other companies wanted me to send them measurements and they would give a quote. We had a great young man come out and look at our bathroom and go over all the options with us. He made it very painless and was so helpful in deciding what was best for us. Then the folks who came out and installed it were very careful not to tear anything up that they didnt have to and cleaned up everything afterward. We also were able to leave them in the house after we left and felt very comfortable having them lock up and leave. Would definitely recommend this company!

We moved in our house in 2014 and needed to update our two bathrooms. The home was built in the 1950s and bathrooms were very outdated. We had four different companies give us a quote and ended up choosing Green Star home remodeling to do the job. Workers were very clean and i felt they went out of their way to accommodate our schedules. They cleaned up everyday and took the extra time needed to make sure the job was done correctly. Kyle did everything he promised. they even did additional stuff that we were not aware needed fix. We highly recommend green star to our family and friends an we plan to have them do our windows this fall.

Had a kitchen, living room, and dining room remodeled. They seemed to subcontract much of their work. Workers complained about each other. Subfloor was not done correctly. Drywall was being done while they were putting cabinets in the kitchen. Wall and ceiling near these spots looks awful. Portions behind the cabinets not smoothed at all. Floor has many soft spots with only 1/8 in floor board over empty floor space. They never put in a threshold over the front door and back door. This job was three days away from being a good job. Had they have taken the time to prep the subfloor one day, let the electrician finish his work work one day, then let the drywall guy finish his work before the cabinets were put in, it would have been a pretty good job. That seems like a poor management issue. Also they stated very late. Supposed to start in January, so I did the demo in the kitchen. They didn’t start until February. Had a demoed kitchen for no reason.

Greenstar did a bathroom remodel for us earlier this year. We were very satisfied with the completed project. Greenstar people were great to work with, dependable, and quick to reply when contacted. The project was completed in a very reasonable amount of time and with concern for our satisfaction and quality. They also do a great job of keeping the project area clean!

Called to get a quote for a sunroom enclosure. The guy that came out gave me a ridiculously high quote that he seemed to pull out of thin air. When I told him the quote was much higher then others I had received, he reduced it buy $1,350. Trying to gouge customers on the front end is an indication that the rest of the job will not go well.

They did an amazing job installing my new granite countertop

We said yes to a sunroom in April & finished in October, green star left us with a damaged gate, some of my tools I loaned them were taken & sunroom material is not what we expected defiantly not 3 season especially for the price, good thing it does have a lifetime warranty Would not recommend for sunroom install. Still nothing done about gate or tools!

The workers were nice and easy to get along with. They took longer than was told but they did good work.
