Fon may be best barber in Louisville, Ky. He’s the only person I let cut me nowadays . I can’t attest for the other barbers but the shop is nice, clean and drama free. When Fon cuts your hair he takes his tine and creates art every time . I’ve probably had like 10 people change barbers after seeing him consistently get my cut perfect .

Whatever you do avoid the chubbier guy. He delivered a poor haircut and it seems like he does not put effort into his work. Either that or he doesnt know what hes doing. Instead of a gradual increase in hair on the sides theres not much difference in hair length on the sides and it looks like there is only 2 different hair lengths on the sides.it looks like a $5 haircut. I have never experienced a line up more painful. Im not sure if this guy knows how to adjust his clippers and how to hold it when lining up. My lineup is incredibly uncomfortable. There is very noticeable bruising and scarring almost everywhere on the lineup; The worst that I have ever experienced. There is a long continuous cut along the front your head, the sides,and the back. There are even cuts on my sideburns. When he puts that clipper on your head,it cuts you up pretty bad..My hairline looks like Frankenstein with all the cuts and abrasions . I have talked to someone who after describing my experience, knew exactly who I was talking about. I hope theres no other chubby guy to mistake him with. As far as Im I know there is only him and he sits on the second chair to the left as soon as you enter the barbershop. I rarely leave a bad review but I just had to do it this time.

One of the worst haircuts I ever got, he almost shaved my head after making me choose the style and length from a photo menu, even managing to leave a hole on the front of the hairline.Yesterday I walked in with the confidence given by the photos and comments of past customers, today is Thanksgiving and while Im thankful that this gentleman is not my dentist I ponder an explanation of what happened to my head, not just at todays table but all the way to Xmas and even as we welcome the new decade.The shop still gets 5 stars to avoid being unfair to his fellow barbers and because hair is not worth affecting the livelihood of anyone that I perceive as good people making an honest mistake.The place is very clean and nice, I attest to the good vibe described by others, clearly rooted in love and pride for what they have created. Theres also the usual bunch of guys hanging out only that here they are all around ten years old, their innocent presence helps appease the frustration by silently reseting lifes priorities.My advice to Royals Empire: Measure Twice, Cut Once; and work INCREMENTALLY like most barbers do when dealing with new walk-ins, asking Is This Short Enough ?And please abstain from explanations and excuses, they are extremely irritating and only add insult to injury, a sincere and proper apology shall suffice.Now Ill click on POST before I look in the mirror again.
