The idea of this barber shop is cool, but the execution is poor. They have no way to organize people in order of appointments/walk-ins. This creates a confusing situation where people might cut in front of someone else for their haircut. I also felt that the razors and haircutting tools were not clean. The hair cut overall was okay. I hope they improve their process, cleanliness, and professionalism. Could be a lot better with some work!

A Great Barbershop full of experience barbers. It is a very welcoming environment. All you have to do is walk in the door and these guys are more than happy to get you together.

I went at 11:00 am (when the mall opened). There was only one Barber available and he said he was booked until 4:00 pm. He said that more Barbers would come soon. I waited 30 minutes and no additional Barbers showed up. I drove 40+ minutes to get there and left without a fresh cut.

Waited an hour in my seat, unacknowledged by a single barber in the shop the whole time. Two random walk-ins come in after me and both get in a barber’s chair before me without appointments

Felt like they didnt want to cut my hair because Im white. Sat for 20 mins and they let walk in after walk in go before me.

I always get cut by Eric (The Bow-Tie Barber) and he never disappoints. He is very professional and also answers any questions I have to maintaining between cuts or when traveling and I can’t get in the shop. I have never gotten a cut by anyone else there, but have seen there work seeing I go weekly. The gentleman next to Eric (His Brother), the gentleman Kelly, and the gentleman couple of chair down from Kelly (I don’t know his name, I refer to him as Mr. Jordan, being he is a Michael Jordan fan) all do exceptionally great work. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to shop and get a great haircut all in the same place.

With 10+ barbers this is easily one of the busiest barbershops and the wait time is never long, less than 5 minutes. All the barbers are friendly and did a great job cutting hair.

The best thing about this place: its open on Sunday. I went to Ced whos a really good barber. Highly recommend him.I would definately make an appt or you could be there a while.

I took my son there for a haircut (first time) a couple days ago and the barber messed up my sons hairline, his taper wasn’t done correctly and he forgot to rub alcohol along his hairline after his haircut. I’d like to know who are those people who gave this place more than one star. These people are awful. Stay away, don’t say you weren’t warned. Lopsided hair cuts, helmet shaped cuts. Uneven lines. This was the last straw...I’ll drive 20 miles and pay more if I have to. My son came out looking like a 3 year old took scissors to hair. I kid you not. Kelly always cuts my kids hair and he always does a good job. I give him 5 stars every time.But today I was in a rush so I let another barber cut one of my kids hair to pass the time and he was very rude! If I could give him 0 stars I would! Charged me $15 and he only cut the sides of my sons hair! I asked him if he could take some off the top because it didnt even look like my son had a fresh haircut and I just paid him $15. He told me that he prefers not to because thats how kids wear their hair and its coiled and he doesnt comb out kids hair! Lesson learned, wont be going back to him! if you have a good barber that you go to on the regular, dont switch up to save time. I just wasted $15 and Im heated! This barbers station is 3 chairs down from Kelly. Never Again!

They did a good job with my Fiances hair cut. But the barber himself was very rude to my fiance. I believe he has gotten his haircut there a few times so it may have just been he got one of the meaner barbers, because all of them hes gotten before were nice.

This is a completely different barbershop experience, from not having waiting chairs, to a full-sized skateboard ramp. Getting my haircut: without spending 2-3hrs waiting, being in the middle of the mall, and actually enjoying it; I thought would never happen! These barbers are cool, they can cut/style ANY type of hair and enjoy doing it, what more could you ask for?

Nice barbers, nice haircuts but they change every-time the prices in function of your face! For the fifth times I cut my hair there for the same haircut, I heard different amounts! Today is 15$, next week is 25$, next next week 20$. I grew up with principles including honesty and now I saw the best way to loose a customer.

More cutting and less talking please.Asked for an even haircut and what i got was an un-even cut the barber left my hair patchy. He set on a stool the whole time cutting which ive never seen a barber do which is probably why my hair was patchy. Im more upset at the fact that i just moved to the area so the mall babershop wouldve been convenient for me. Since the barbers only conversation to me was about the other barbers bad haircuts and how they spray black stuff on the hairline to hide a bad cut I wont be back. I friend took my son to another barber his last haircut because I had to work. Had a day off wanted to run him up there to get a cut and the dude that cut his hair when I get time to take him told me he would not cut his hair because he is not there for my convienence. Lost my business for good. He was upset because my son got a cut some where else, last time I checked a mall is convienent place and you are there to cut hair, make money. It took one person to give that place a bad rep.

The guy that cut my hair was terrible. I don’t even think he knew what he was doing. I wanted to just leave mid haircut. I was so disappointed that I went to another place just to fix my hair.

I agree with not giving them one star if I didnt have to. Went in to get a haircut and felt like I was being over charged when I said I would go somewhere else they asked how much I had. I told her how much I had in cash and she told me not to lie. I felt like I was being hustled over a Haircut! While getting the awful haircut not once was I even acknowledged in the chair. I had my first haircut there Sunday before last (8/28/16). It was the worst I had ever gotten. Horribly, horribly uneven. Patches of hair that looked as though the clippers never touched it. I went back today (9/5) to have it fixed by someone else. ITS ACTUALLY WORSE! My hairline has been pushed back a good half an inch from where it naturally should be. I look ridiculous! The location and the hours are ideal but the tradeoff isnt worth it. I wont be back.

I decided not to get a haircut, I took my business else where because theyre were 3 barbers standing directly at the door literally getting into an argument about who was going to cut my hair. I decided to go to JCPenney and get a cut. Afterwards I pass the shop on my way to Dillards and the same 3 barbers were still standing at the door waiting haggling for haircuts. Its just such a bad look for a business.

Ive recently been looking for a new barbershop and have been here 3 times and here is an honest review. The price for a male haircut is 15 dollars according to the pricing posted in the store, but I was charged 20 for two haircut and 25 for the third. Not sure if this is false advertising, but def borderline. This seems like its a little shady to me. I received one good haircut out of the three, the other two I can pay 10 bucks less and go to a Wallmart to get the same haircut. You walk in and there are no front desk or anyone to greet you. You walk in,look like an idiot just standing there and nobody approaches you, and then have to be like I need haircut. Wish I had good things to say about this place but I dont. I dont see this business staying open long with the shaddy pricing and horrible customer service.

Took my son to the barber shop to get tapered cut very basic. He got a cut from the guy in the second chair from the front door I had to take my son back for him to correctly do his hairline he charged me an additional $3.00!! For what he should have done the first time. Then I noticed the back of his head which was a horrible mess very patchy!! Not to mention he my son asked for a design which the barber stated he didnt KNOW to do. In such a good location but offering subpar work.

If I could I would give them no stars. I went there Saturday (9/17/16) to get lines put back into my undercut. The girl her name started with an R, first off smelled like straight weed (nothing against it but dont smoke it if youre having to work especially on peoples hair) we asked her how much she charged for the lines for the undercut so she asked my friend how much Z salon charged her for her undercut and lines, she told her $25 but that includes hair cut, shampoo, and style. So the women at the barber said I can do $25. Then I looked at my friend and said its fine Ill get my sister to do it. Then the women replied with how much you got ? Dont lie to me. I said I got $15 I can do. So she took that. Afterwards I looked at the sign and its $10 just for a mens haircut, she over charged me, and from her shaving and putting lines in my hair, I bleed because her razors were dull. Not to mention I have one spot on my hair that is bold. Overall Im not going back, Ill stick with the high end salons like lebliss or z salon.

Ive been here 5 times and every time its at least an hour wait. I get skipped over everytime Idk if its bc Im a girl or what. The barbers pick who they want to do and dont go in order of walk ins. First cut here was awesome, my barber totally fixed my cut to actually look very nice compared to the bad condition It was in when I came in.Second cut...maybe I had high expectations but I will never be returning here. To make things worse Im headed to a great clips after I write this to get this cut fixed. I told the barber I wanted a fade into a fauxhaux, Im not sure how that turned into a fade into a bowl cut but Ive never had a worse cut. Then when I ask for the cut I came for he tells me he has people waiting!I dont go to the barber or any hair cutting place to look goofy and I would recommend you being careful when you come here because depending on who you get that could exactly what happens to you.Update: Went into SportsCuts on hurstborne and it took the nice lady less than 5 minutes to fix that chop job and I got my hair washed and a massage for only 7$. Would never recommend The Corner Barbershop in St. Matthews to anyone again.
