Dude was cool but had me looking like bert from sesame street, no symmetry. Buzzed too high on one side and did a line up on my side burns when I didn’t ask for it. Wouldn’t have been too bad if it was even on both sides. Literally just looks like i tried to do it myself. Wearing a hat for month

Im new here, but from what Ive seen this is a pretty nice place. The folks here are pretty friendly and it has a clean environment. Over all a good haircut and a very reasonable price. I think I paid 15 bucks but left a 5 dollor tip.. I would recommend!

Last week was my first visit. Lance cut my hair and did a great job. The guy who cut my hair for years retired. I haven’t been happy with the cut I got from the last 3 places but looks like my hair has found a new home. I’ll be back.As a side note, I thought it was cool that Fern Creek Barber Shop has a vacuum system hooked up to prevent hair from falling all over your clothes and on the floor. I hate to leave bad reviews but being someone that has been doing my own hair and beard for so long, I decided after reading best barbershops in Louisville and fern creek popping up for the price Id try it. I understand now why it’s so cheap. The cut was ok. If your fade into your beard still has stubble and hair under your ears still is considered good?? I’m honestly shocked that this place has so many stars. when I have to come home from a barbershop and cut my own hair that’s bad. Plus dude took like an inch off my beard when I wanted it shaped and tapered not cut.

My favorite barber shop in Louisville. These men are pros. I walked in with no appointment and was seen right away--then they had me in and out in no time and gave me exactly what I wanted for a good price. If you like your hair cut short and cant find someone to do a good fade, flat top, or anything high and tight, these are your guys. Not everyone is good at those kinds of hair cuts, but FCBS will do it right and do it fast with no mistakes. Nice work, guys!

This is the first time I’ve ever taken my son to the barber shop instead of a cheap generic salon. They did a fantastic job, best haircut he’s ever had hands down!! Not to mention the price of fantastic!! This will be my go to place for him now.

Dont know the specific barbers name, but hes like a hair cutting robot. You could tell its all second nature to him now. Super quick, great cut, great price. He listened to what I wanted, didnt cry about having to cut shaggy hair, and got it done with precision. Will be back.

Haircut was so bad I had to go home and shave my head..... In college I learned to cut and trim my own hair after a bad cut but Fern Creek butchered it beyond the point of fixing. Definitely recommend going elsewhere

Was going to Londons barber shop up the street but they kept messing my hair up. Lines and fade was uneven and they all acted like they didnt understand what I was talking about. I came to fern creek barber shop and they saw and understood exactly what i was having trouble with and fixed it. Have been going there since. They are cheap for a haircut but do a great job.

John absolutely butchered my beard yesterday its so bad Im going to have to shave it off. Haircut was good but the number he did on my beard was horrendous never trust john with your beard.

I take my 2 year old son here all of the time. They are quick and neat. They have the clippers that suck up all of the hair, so no mess. They are not really listed as a childs shop, but they do a quick clean job. They put up with his wiggles and make him feel like a little man. We love making the drive.

Always a great hair cut (they actually know how to do fades) and quick to get you in and out without losing any attention to detail. Bring cash, but they do have an ATM on site if you forget!

Best place in town to get a haircut

Ive been going here for years. When I moved to Oldham County last year, I couldnt find a good barber anywhere so I drive all the way to Fern Creek just to get a great haircut.

I started going to FCBS when i was a kid. Now i take my kids. No hair all over your neck because their clippers have a vacuum attached to it and the warm shaving cream is all that and a bag of chips.

On Christmas eve, I showed up without an appointment, was seared in 5 minutes, got a great military hair cut at a fair price. When Im in the area again, Ill stop in.
