Seriously great barber shop! B&B is stocked with talented stylists that really understand short haircuts and proper shaves. (Having a beer while you wait is a nice bonus!)

Shave and haircut turned out great. Service was seriously lacking. Pricing is VERY high. Could support local barbers for a much more reasonable price. Some may even let you bring your own beer. Likely will not be back.Edit: Originally I left a 4 star review until the owner decided to leave a nasty comment. Youre right I left a good tip and even complimented the cut that I received, thus the tip. But your barbers tend to go off and talk to others rather than focus on the client at hand. The bringing a beer to a different shop was clearly a joke... But thanks for proving my complaint about the service. Enjoy your updated rating to reflect that. 😘

Had to change from my previous hair cut joint to some new digs - Beards and Beers is convenient as far as location and times available. Charles, my new barber, was excellent - listened to what I want then delivered a masterful cut!! Nice shop, friendly staff, and the proof is in the cut...I love mine and have found a new home barber shop. Highly recommend Charles!!

Nicky was fantastic. She took her time getting my head and face done just right for the big day. Nice relaxed atmosphere where you can have a drink during your appointment and they have liners between each person getting cuts for added precautions. I will definitely be back soon!

Great place, well worth the price. My husband and I went for some much needed post-quarantine haircuts and both of us walked out looking (and feeling!) like a million bucks. I also got my first straight razor shave, which was an awesome experience! Well be back for sure!

The shop has a great concept. We changed our mind about the service so I fear the cut suffered due to the change.Kind of sloppy shave around ears and didnt clean up the cheek above beard. Loose hair all over face. Very rushed 30minute cut and shave for an hour time slot. Was it worth $50?

Literally dropped in to get my beard trimmed. One guy came out from doing towels and said that I need an appointment. So, I got a beer and hoped for someone not to show on time. After 15 minutes of waiting a guy shows up and he starts cutting his hair. If you were waiting for 15 minutes, he could have trimmed my beard, or no?

They are very nice people my beard was done very very well and I am very happy leaving from There Not to mention they have different beers so I got to try something new

Grant did a great time paying attention to the details and listening to what I was wanting. My hair is hard to cut and Grant took his time to make sure it was met to my satisfaction. Edited review. Had some bad experiences but the owner did respond, apologize, and offer a refund or a redo. Make sure you know the price of a beer before you get it. $8 for a bottle is still way too high. I misunderstood and thought they were included. Upgraded to 3 stars just because of owners fast response

Have been coming for years and have always walked out feeling good about my haircut. For this reason I’m giving 5 stars. During my latest visit, however, my experience did not live up to previous visits. Haircut felt rushed, there was no neck shave, and did not feel like my input was really taken into account. I usually put a lot of faith in my barbers judgement and did not realize just how basic and cheap my haircut looked until I got home. Disappointed but will give another try for the usual 5 star haircut whenever my hair grows back out a little.

Mike did an awesome job cleaning up my beard for my wedding and making me feel sharp. Clean professional shop, definitely recommend.

Great service, a quality cut and trim. My first experience with a straight razor was excellent. And by gosh, beer with a cut absolutely my kinda place. Charles did great work! Found my new place guys.

For $30 I expected much more from a haircut. The place was clean and looked nice, but my haircut took all of 10 minutes. I asked for a tight fade to skin, expecting straight razor shave but the barber only cut with clippers, not to skin.I was hoping this place was on par with the Chop Shop, but unfortunately that’s not the case.

My favorite barber shop! Their staff are awesome, and they have an amazing beer selection! Their services, while a bit on the pricey side, are worth every penny. My barber, Nicky, always gets me looking perfect every time!

Suggested this place to a close friend because it seemed like a cool concept, he was not offered a beer- they did offer to others who came in and as soon as the next person came in the barber was rushed and did not provide a 30$ service. Would not return and will not suggest to anyone.

Ive gotten my haircut twice here and I absolutely love it! The staff is so friendly, they know what theyre talking about when it comes to hair, and they can give out great recommendations for beer! And speaking of beer, there is such an amazing selection here, from light lagers to stouts, you can find about anything you craving while getting a haircut!

My Dad purchased a gift card to this barbershop for me because he loved it so much. While it is hard to get me out of any sort of routine, such as getting my haircut at the previous place I was getting my haircut, after about 10 months or so of promising him I would check it out I finally decided to see what it was all about . Beards and Beers has turned out to be the best barbershop I have ever gone to not only because the service they provide is top notch, but also because the staff is super friendly and the environment has a old school barbershop feel which is really cool. I have had two different barbers give me a haircut here and both have been way better than what I was getting previously. I recommend Beards and Beers to anyone looking for a great haircut in a relaxed environment while drinking a beer if you feel like it. It is funny because I kept thinking why does my dad think this place is so great but after my first visit I totally got it and understand what he was talking about. All I can say is after your first appointment you will get it as well.

Such a cool place with a great concept - bridging the gap between a mens barbershop and a womens salon. A good beer selection, rustic, yet polished decor. Beautiful building. The owner is a 3rd gen barbar, and her daughter also works there as a 4th gen. The people were friendly and fun, and can trim even the most serious of beards!

My brother and I scheduled beard trims with mini facials and are very pleased. Go in and have a beer before or after your appointment. Grooming products are sold, but unlike other places theres no pressure to buy. Staff was very friendly and engaging. Melissa Gray, Master Stylist, was very welcoming and did an excellent job. We will definitely return.

One of my husbands favorite places to get cleaned up. Friendly, husband went in scruffy and came out looking sexy! One draw back is I would recommend the staff monitor their conversations. Listening to two of the associates discuss a competitors shop and lower prices seemed odd.

Pretty good, but not great value, for me at least..The concept is really great, and the barbers all seem to know what their doing. But my barber cut my hair in less then ten minutes and that was it. In comparison, my friend who occasionally comes here was in his chair for at least 30 minutes. His barber seemed to take a lot more care and attention with the finer details of his cut. Not sure what the rush was with mine.

Beard and Beers did an awesome job taking care of us this past weekend! My brother was getting married so I booked the groomsmen package for 9 guys. We had a few hours all to ourselves at the shop with 4 barbers taking care of us. This included beard trims/shaves, haircuts, some beers while we waited, and souvenirs. We all were happy with the final outcome and had a blast spending our morning with you all! Nicky, Melissa, Adam and Charles were very accommodating and took great care of all of us while we were there. Thank you all again for making our visit a great one! Bought this as a gift for someone. They used it and enjoyed it. Apparently wasnt the best haircut they ever had, but his hair looked fine. I think it was a good experience to offer as a gift!

Im a big fan of this place. Barbers are 2nd to none. Theyre always friendly and patient. They track what theyve done in the past for you so that you dont have to try and explain it all. Great location too. I love that I can just book an appointment online. I hope the barbers are treated well! The only place that I know of that still uses straight razors too!Great experience all around.

I just moved here from Chicago and picked this place because of its rating. I managed a hair salon for years and understand what happens with new clientele, and was a little nervous having a new person cutting my hair. Im sorry but I feel like this cut was just straight out horrible. Maybe Charles (the guy that was cutting my hair) didnt understand how to cut straight thick hair, but it definitely shows. I now have lines and choppy edges that are noticable even with product. I feel so embarrassed by this haircut. I paid $30 for a cut I could get at some random barber shop.

If you’re looking for a laid-back atmosphere that abandons the boys club mentality that you may get with other barber shops in the city, you can’t go wrong here. Oh, and you can drink beer!

They take a lot of pride in their work and in their shop. My barber was Lindsey Doogs she did a great job on my haircut and beard trim. She was very helpful about offering advice and answering my beard care questions. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

Went with my husband today and really enjoyed the atmosphere.The building is lovely.Gives you that historic downtown feel.The staff was extremely inviting and attentive to anyone who came in.Was busy when we went so some did not stay to wait.Very professional and polite when arriving and leaving.The music they played too was awesome to listen too!
