Recently, I had to change over many official documents on my thirtieth birthday including insurance from another state. I ended up with Ryan Baker and he was the first person that day to catch what day it was. He immediately chided me for doing so much adulting on a day meant for celebration! I was weary from dealing with official offices all morning and he just cracked me up. We had a great discussion, everything was transferred beyond smoothly and his birthday wishes really perked me up. I thought that was the end of it.A few days later a card came in the mail; I opened it and it was a birthday message from Ryan with a nail salon gift card and an order to go get my nails done and celebrate my birthday right. It was the sweetest thing Ive ever experienced in the customer service world and made my week. Sure enough later on I pampered myself and also stopped in next door to meet him face-to-face. Hes as lovely and genial in person as he is on paper and over the phone. Ill never forget that kindness- he went above and beyond to make me feel cared for and considered. I dont know any other agent that would do what he did- even my folks complained their agent never did anything like that! I cant recommend him more. I called Ryan 20 minutes before closing. I needed gas to get home. He said the towing would take to long and offered to wire money to a Kroger. Needless to say, no one else would have gone to these lengths to help a customer. State farm and especially Ryan Baker isnt an insurance company, hes family. We used to be wih progresive insurance. Paying $371 a month.2 cars no renters insurance. We had been with them for over 12 yrs. Never late or missed any payment. At renewal time they raised our rates by $104 a month. To $475. Because their system didnt catch my speeding ticket at the last renewal. I called and tried to reason with them. No luck. So I told them to keep the policy. We would go else where. So we called every I mean EVERY other insurance company to quote us for auto insurance. And every one of them were extremely over priced. We thought we were stuck with progressive! ( A little back ground.) We have 2 vehicles both 2017. I have 1 accident on my record and 2 speeding tickets.my wife has a clean record. And for what we needed to be insured, every insurance company out there wanted $600-$700 a month. Even a different state farm agent quoted me $657 a month. Some how Jessica and the guys at Ryans office got our info. Gave us a call and took great care of our needs. When she told me the price, I asked her if she was sure? Man I was relived when she told me that it was correct. Jessica went above and beyond the call of duty looking for any and all savings possible. So not only are our vehicles fully covered, we now have renters insurance and its cheaper than any other company, or what we were paying before. I would like to personally thank Jessica and the guys. You helped us out so much.
