Transporters nightmare avoid at all cost. Office there was one super nice gentleman of course not the Mgr. His name was Donovan this guy needs a raise he’ll maybe he needs to run the place prolly be a better place!!! This is the worst managed place I’ve ever seen it looks like a dump and they cannot get your car loaded in under 4hrs. What a joke steer clear until they get someone in here that can run this place I’d steer clear of the Louisville branch.

This place is an absolute mess. We sent 3 cars to them to be auctioned off. It took three weeks for them to list two of them and they NEVER listed the 3rd. Every time I called they promised to get it in the next auction. So after 5 weeks of nothing, I told then I wanted my vehicle back. They acted like they knew nothing of the vehicle. Then I started threatening to report it stolen and call my attorney then sales rep from the head office called and said he had me vehicle ready for picked up. So the next day I went to pick it up and they said they cant give it to me because they never got the title. So I had to call the sales rep again who had to call them back, so he called me and said that they found the title in the glove box. Which is where their shipper puts them. The finally bring out my vehicle and the ripped the top bumper cover off. The employees there are very rude and incompetent

Absolutely disgusted with the customer service shown by the call center. I spoke with a young man on the phone and he acted like I was wasting his time. When I asked politely to speak with someone else when I realized he was not being helpful I was asked why. I dont need a reason, but I explained it was because he was being unhelpful. He refused to transfer me to someone else and then was rude when I asked to speak to his manager. He refused to transfer me. I wish there was a star less than 1 star. Absolutely unacceptable and the excuse that nobody is working isnt going to cut it. You can be a decent human and not be nasty on the phone when it is your job to assist customers.

This Auction needs to improve on getting there cars out of the lot ASAP to the drivers trying to pick up. Im a broker and I have been doing this for over 10 years and never has no auctions that I have worked with has taken 12 hours to release the vehicle Lucky I had the best most Patient Driver from M&H Transportation LLC from Louisville KY. This company was there again today for the second time because they did not release the day before and they almost did not release today, this is a big setback for anybody or driver, and they will keep charging storage, however to wait 2 whole days even with an appointment means they need to fix there very short staff or fire the manager. This is unacceptable and the auction made me lose money, time and a client is lost for not being fast enough 2 whole days is not fair for anyone. I have pictures of the driver waiting since 9:30am until way in closing time.

Was picking up a car for a customer. Parked by the office with my tow truck..a guy with a vest told me and another driver to move the trucks to the other side threatening they will move our trucks. I think theres better ways to talk to people. Not threatening they will move truck with their lift. And maybe putting signs when you first pull in. Letting customers know where to park..I didnt bring my magic wand to know we not supposed to park there

The worst station as far as keep people waiting. They keep people outside on the line regardless of the weather. The staff members (office staffs only)work as if they are in bed at the corner of their homes. Other location are not like that North east south and west.Something needs to be done ASAP to correct chewing up customers days with the attitude of I don’t care.

I have purchased or picked up vehicles at numerous Copart locations. Its ALWAYS been quick, efficient, and friendly. However, I had a number of issues my first visit to the Louisville location visit. 1. There is no signage on where to go for what. What appears to be the logical thing to do is pull in by the office. Wrong! This is only where cars are dropped off and you will be in the way. You have to go to the load out lot which is not visible and does not feel like you should be going to. 2. Waited over and hour and a half to get checked in. Waited almost 3 hours to get loaded. It was awful. Also once the car did come the driver didnt load it on the trailer. The set it at the side of the lot. I was able to flag down one of the drivers and it seemed like the vehicle information I provided for my truck and trailer didnt match. It got loaded. What a hassle.

I wish i can give 0 stars but i have to give at least one. i would never buy from this auction again they gave my title to another customer that customer refuse to return my title for no reason, a duplicate title was issued and 2 months later i still have not received my title and no one knows the status. so frustrating

Absolutely abysmal!! Would give no stars if possible. After signing in with the qr code and receiving a 17 minute waiting time we decided to wait in our car because of the lobby restrictions for covid19. Mind you that only 3 people are in line ahead of my wife and myself...Fast forward 2.5 hours later still sitting without hearing anything. After going back inside to see whats going on we was informed we were next . Finally we thought. Gabe them our proof of ownership and was told car was already released to us and would be there any min . But that was completely BS. Another 1.5hrs ticks by and Finally they pull up with car, only one problem license plate is missing and window has plastic taped over it which absolutely wasnt the case when they picked it up a week and a half ago. Over the 97° temp and the worst customer service I have ever experienced we left.I WOULD TRULY CONSIDER ANOTHER OPTION IF CONSIDERING USING THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING.

My car was totaled on Tuesday and transferred here. I called Friday to see if they had the car and how to collect my personals. Phone staff was helpful and friendly. I arrived about 3:15 and was gone 3:45. Great experience.

I think they either need better workers, better systems or logistics to run a business. I will suggest they go to IAAI to learn some knowledge on how to run an efficient and effective business. This place has workers who do not care. You wait in line for 2 hours for something that takes 5 minutes at IAAI. Copart is terrible

Lied about transmission being gone in the semi truck. They posted primarily damage dents sctrached and secondary damage normal wear. Did not disclose anything in notes. Dishonest and liars. Flew in to pick up a truck that had no mechanical issues or ones that were disclosed. Had to have towed 800 miles and I flew back. I was let with little options to that point. Wish places like this would go out of business. Also once sold I was able to contact the seller. He stated he disclosed this to copart and they did not disclose this in the sale. Will pursue legal action for not disclosing damage before sale. Will update

After paying $75 in storage and 4 days after the sale I went to pick up a camper. Waited for half hour and was sent to their sub lot about 10 minutes away. I was made to drive around looking for a camper that they had sold to someone else the week before. I went back to the office and asked to talk to the manager. Yanni came out and was not a manager and was of no help. Then Caleb came out and said they refunded my money and they knew last Thursday they had made a mistake. I asked why I was made to drive to their sub lot if they knew the lot was not there. Caleb would not take any responsibility or apologize. . I asked for the manager and jimmy kuebel came out and was rude to me and said if I didn’t leave they would call the police. He gave me the name of his manager Alan Hoskins who I emailed twice and received no response. There are letters being written to the higher executives in copart until someone in their publicly held company acknowledges their mistake and reimburse the transport cost. Copart charged over 15 percent in fees plus gate charges and internet transaction fees for a vehicle they sold twice and received 2 payments for. If I could give them zero stars I would. I would Re consider buying anything from copart as the fees are really expensive and they are responsible for nothing

Scheduled pickup 4 times, they mis scheduled 3 times trying to show up at 5pm or later for a pickup window of 10-2pm. Today we scheduled one last time, for 10-2pm, and at 10AM received a text message saying they would not be coming at all today and to reschedule with them. Terrible customer service, and they lie as much as they can to get something from you. Absolutely awful.

Its time to join together for a class action lawsuit. They constantly lie about keys being with the vehicle, post pictures showing the keys and then tell us there are no keys and its not their fault. They never, I repeat, never have owned up to their own misdoings.

Wrecked my truck Dec 24th 2018. It was towed to a salvage yard in Hardin County, and a few days later to Copart. I went there to check for anything left in the truck, and to sign it over in order to receive the insurance check. Things had been stolen out of the truck. Then I went to leave and asked for them to have an employee who parked behind me move their vehicle. They acted like I was suppose to pull through the muddy part of the salvage yard that is filled with shank metal. On top of that, the woman was running her mouth out the door while talking to a coworker. She didnt know I was out there, but she soon found out. I would never take a vehicle there or buy one from there voluntarily!

Not satisfied. When our vehicle was totaled on 23 February, COPART towed the car to their facility in Louisville and promptly lost the vehicle key. Company has never followed up to locate key or to accept responsibility. Additionally, their title salvage process is extremely slow. We have been waiting over a week since our title was received by COPART for a status on our total loss reimbursement, just to find out that COPART incorrectly assigned our title to the wrong claim. Still waiting on this claim to get processed for final payment! Would recommend if your insurance carrier does business with COPART that you request your carrier to contract with a different company, as this COPART is not efficient nor customer friendly.

This place is the worst Copart next to Indianapolis. 2-3 hour wait times, they take a month to send titles and now they take the keys out the cars and are losing them left and right but won’t take responsibility for it. There’s only like 2 employees(Megan and Sarah) that actually know what they’re doing and will help you while everyone else just sits there and watches you. If it wasn’t for them having decent cars, I would never buy from Copart in general. Literally only give you 3 days to pick up a car before they start charging storage fees

I have no issue with anyone at copart, Ive been in the process of becoming a buyer and have been treated well so far.My gripe is the telephone wait times. From the first phone call over three months ago until this very second (Im bored waiting on hold for lets see....40 minutes now) the phones are ALWAYS jammed. Jeez, just hire some more customer service reps copart, youve got to be losing business this way.The last two calls I waited something, like almost an hour at which point I usually just hang up, I think one time I called and got an human right away. Its actually the reason (well between that and covid-19) Im still trying to become a buyer.

Copart sold me a car with red salvage title instead of regular salvage title. The listing did not mention anything about the red salvage!Talked to the manager but refused to return the car.I understand if the car had hidden damages as we buy them as is but Copart was misleading when listed the wrong title type!

Bought a car that said it had the keys...i paid and picked it up..they decided to not leave the keys zip tied to the coulm...the zip tie was the but they could not find the keys and said i bought it as is and theres nothing they will do..so im stuck without a key for a car i paid 1200 bucks for...oh and the keys were in it in the picture

Very long wait times to pick up cars and they will leave for lunch with a lot full waiting. To top it off they pulled the keys to every vehicle and now I have to pay for a key and programming!

This review reflects my own personal opinions of a private party. I had wait an extremely long time to just get a plate off of a vehicle in their yard. Instead of just simply being able to ride to the vehicle it had to be brought to me via forklift. I essentially had to wait for 4 large vehicle transportation trucks to be completed before I was able to even talk to a driver to get my plate.I will avoid buisness with this company from my experience.

Went to pick up stuff out of my totaled car after getting hit by a distracted driver so I was already having a horrible month and then I see that all my stuff was rummaged through and tools and a $50 collapsible baton was gone. I know it was someone from there because I went to see my vehicle at Louisville impound and nothing in it was touched. Copart was the next and only person to be in possession of my car. Of course they said there was nothing they could do. I would suggest not hiring thieves and taking theft seriously but hey, that’s louisville.

Just tried to buy a camper, we knew it had a reserve we went on and bid it up to a FAIR price considering the damage.. after we got the winning bid the auction company called and said we did not win the RV we didnt meet the reserve. like why not tell us what the reserve is in the listing.. with the extensive damage it had the reserve was quite high... a couple hundred dollars difference ... sure whatever .. but a couple thousand NO THANKS!! So disappointing.

Never again!! Communication is poor. She said go to the left. She said they had already been called and would be bringing it out. I drove to the back and was told to go back out front. Then I see several people lining up by the entrance and handing paperwork to the forklift drivers. Guess thats what I needed to do. All the workers went to her for answers, so she must have been in charge. I asked to use the restroom and was told to use the portacan outside even though the same lady had just allowed a female to use the office bathroom which one was marked male and the other female. Guess shes sexist on top of being a bad communicator.The forklift driver helped a lot though and was this locations only saving grace. He took it upon himself to run inside and grab the key after the office was unresponsive on the radio.Total process to pick up a motorcycle...2 hrs.

Doubt this’ll do any harm to this 3.4 billion dollar company (or should I say scam!) but if it’ll help a few people then it’s better than nothing. By the way, this is coming from a 6+ year copart user!All the copart yards are basically the same. They hide a lot of damage, tuck airbags in and what not just so you can upbid a little more. Pictures never do justice, there’s always more damage. I understand it’s wrecked cars, and it’s expected, but a few thinks piss me off about this place. they list cars as run and drive when clearly there’s no was the damn thing could drive. I’ve literally ended up with a truck that said run and drive and I got it with no transmission. Yup, you heard that right. Unfortunately I was in a hurry that day, and just strapped it down and left. When I got back to the shop (10 minutes down the road) and realized it, I called them right away and they said sorry, the vehicle left our lot so we can’t be sure if you didn’t do that yourself. Literally unbelievable.Ok, someone could argue that it was actually my fault for not checking, sure, we’ll go with that..What about when I buy a car that says run and drive and has keys but when you show up to pick it up the keys magically disappeared and now you can’t check it. They’ll tell you they can a locksmith for you to come out (usually takes hours!!!). But oh wait, what’s this... a giant hole in the transmission case? You trying to tell me that this car drove when it showed up at your lot? And even if it did, it’s definitely not going anywhere now that all the fluid has drained out of it. Try to argue with them and all you get is zip! Zilch!! Nada!!And maaaany of the cars are just basically a scam. Someone bought it before, found out that something major was wrong with it, doctored it up a bit and put it right back on the auction. Copart should disclose that by putting in the previous lot number or atleast saying that this a third party seller and not an insurance company.Safe to say that I haven’t checked out their auction in a loooong time. Saves me money and the headache from dealing with them.And if you’re still thinking about buying them, well... I wish you luck.
