I would rate this business 5 stars if you do not have pets, 1star if you do.First the good: the owner seems like a good guy, scheduled service promptly, arrived on time. The rugs looked great.The very bad: My elderly rescue dog apparently was having accidents at night, although never during the day. By the time I discovered this, there was a definite odor. I told the owner that the rugs needed to be cleaned, but my main concern was eliminating the odor. He suggested that I replace the rug pad as well as the cleaning. I did that. I contracted for cleaning, pet treatment and stain guard and confined the dog at night. I was never informed that it was likely that all this would leave the rugs smelling as bad, if not worse, than before. These are not expensive rugs, but I really liked them. Had I known, I would simply have replaced the rugs far more cheaply than the cost to have this business clean them.

They were great! Allowed me to move around my appointment multiple times and they even reattached a duct that had come completely off. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you!

I used Dan Boston to clean the air vents at my old house before we moved (previous review listed under Spencer Freeman). No brainer we used him again for our new home. This new home appears to have not been cleaned since it’s build in 2006! FILTHY! The amount of dust, grime, debris and random things in the floor vents was enough to make you sick! But Dan and Jamie cleaned all my returns, vents, dryer vent and AC unit(in the basement) in no more than a hour. Dan has to replace my outside dryer vent thing as it was old, busted up and didn’t even have the grate that keeps mice and other things out! Ekk! We also did the $80 mold and mildew treatment as those are two major things I’m allergic too and suffer from major allergies all year.We’ve already noticed the 3rd floor is much cooler now and I’m not sneezing like I did initially moving in. I’m so happy to have found Dan Boston carpet and Air duct cleaning! Everyone I encounter with this company is beyond friendly and helpful. Great conversation too! They take extra care to not damage anything or leave messes behind. They have wall protectors for the corners where the goose will be sliding past, covers for their shoes and move their equipment when they move, so the house is still walkable and not messy at all as they work.Very pleased for the 2nd time, have recommended to many family & friends and will continue to do so!

I made an appointment on Tuesday and was scheduled the same week The woman I spoke with to schedule on the phone was so pleasant and helpful. She broke down the costs, what all it entailed and time frames. Dan Boston came out to clean our air ducts today and from the polite knock and smiling face (could tell through the mask) I felt at ease. we had a window time of 9-10 and he arrived at 9:01 exactly. He set up barrier plates to protect the corners of our walls and brought in no dirt from the outside at all. Dan was kind, funny, honest and down to earth. He even cleaned our bathroom air vents as well. We asked questions, and he answered them thoroughly. When he had to move furniture he placed it back EXACTLY where we had it. Our over sized living chair had indents in the carpet, Dan has such an eye for detail, he moved the chair back so that the legs were sitting in those same exact indents.If I could give more than 5 stars I would, but instead I will recommend them to all my friends and family. Great work and its truly appreciated!

Asked for a carpet cleaning estimate and got one back...the same day. They came and cleaned all the bedrooms upstairs. Great job. I saw on the truck they do dryer vents. I showed the guy the dryer which is a stacked unit in a pretty same space. He said he could do it and I asked when. He said how about now? Terrific. Come to find out the vent hose was loose so they not only cleaned the venting but secured the hose which was no small job. I highly recommend these guys!

He was thorough, professional, and has to be one of the most genuine, friendly people weve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They went above and beyond and even helped me with some things that were not in my package! Very friendly and highly recommend! They did a great job cleaning vents. At the last minute we asked them to clean bedroom carpet that we had been unable to get clean. The carpet looks great.

We hired Boston Carpet Cleaning to clean 2 rooms with carpet stains from a sick dog. There were unforeseen scheduling issues, causing the cleaning to happen a week after the carpet got stained but they assured us that they rarely see a stain they cant get out. Dan Boston and his helper, James, were extremely polite, professional and easy to talk to. When they finished cleaning the carpets it looked great and like the stains were gone. Once the carpet dried, one room was clean but the stains in the second room were very prominent again. It was very disappointing to see the stains return and wished we had been warned this may happen when they were still present in our home.

Dan Boston personally cleaned out our entire air duct system and did an excellent job. There is an obvious difference in our air quality and I have nothing but fantastic things to say about him and his business!
