Recommend strongly. I went to PePboy to oil change. They try to charge me more 400 dollars for fix this one that one. My car has been checked often and I know that was way overcharged. One of the problems was nailed wheel. I declined their service and looked around culver area and found this auto shop. They charged me only 25 dollar to patch my tire and they were super nice and kind. I truly appreciate their service.

Tom and the whole crew at Liberty Tires were exceptionally helpful, professional, and made my experience very enjoyable. They figured out problems with my car that the dealer could not. They were also more affordable than the dealer. I am very happy I went to them and highly recommend them to anyone!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!THEYLL TAKE JOBS THEY CANT COMPLETE BUT BILL YOU ANYWAYI brought my Toyota 4Runner in to have shocks and struts installed at Liberty Tire. After speaking with several technicians there, I was assured that this was a job they could do and was told to come back at the end of the day to pickup my truck. I got a call back just before closing that the 5100 Bilstein shocks and struts that I had from the manufacturer didnt fit my truck. Upon arriving to pickup my truck, I was told that I would be billed $100 for their technicians time taking apart my truck before they figured out that I had the wrong parts. I called the manufacturer immediately after leaving Liberty Tire and verified that the shocks and struts I had were correct, and confirmed this when I took my truck to another shop the next day and had everything installed with no problems (Thanks Pitt Stop - El Segundo).The next day I stopped back at liberty tire to request a refund of the erroneous $100 charge and was told that they would need to get back to me after verifying the parts were correct (even though theyre already on my truck, so obviously theyre correct). Over the next two weeks I continued to call to get an update from the manager, Tom, and was told I would get a call back at the end of that day. Never heard from Tom despite calling several times over those 2 weeks. Finally today I hear back from Tom. He confirmed the part numbers I had were correct (obviously they were because theyre already installed on my truck). He said he spoke with his technician and he cant figure out what happened. He refused to refund me because, their technician spent time taking apart my truck, only to figure out, THEY DONT KNOW WHAY THEYRE DOING.Heed my warning, this place is terrible. They have terrible customer service. Ill never shop here again and will never recommend them to anyone. Do yourself a favor and find another option on Google.

I bought 2 tires from them. Price wasnt to bad. Their service is good though. Pretty quick, all the guys are friendly.

Great spot. Quick and fast service. Not just tires. Added a small lift to my truck, took decals off for me, put on new grill, new wheels and bigger off road tires. Its my go to tire shop. They even sell used tires if youre in a pinch and just need something. Ask for Tom, hell make sure you get taken care of.

It used to be $10 for a tire patch. Now, its $25...for a plug. I asked the manager about the price increase. He said the rent was jacked up. Thats BS since no property owner was raising rents during COVID. Pass on this place for tire repair and go to La Cienega Blvd for better pricing...and a patch.

Awesome, Very clean for a tire shop! Very reasonable prices. I didnt have cash and I had just recently received a new debit card from my bank but was having issues using it. Even before work on my car started, the cashier/clerk helped me figure it all out. I was able to pay with PayPal. After we squared the payment away, I was in and out fairly quickly. Go here!

Friendly people manning the place. Took all my questions patiently and clarified them. Was surprised to see all the customers were female on a Saturday morning. I am first time customer but seems like they have lot of repeat customers. It says only one thing, trust and they seem to have thoroughly earned it.

We were late for an important dinner and our car had a bolt in the front tire. We were leaving the Studio across the street and had to get to West LA. The guys at Liberty dropped everything and repaired the tire in five minutes. We got to our dinner in time. These guys are incredible. Thank you Liberty Tire!

Took my car to them to replace the engine about 10 months ago, they charged me about $3.5k, the car started to run bad within 2 weeks so I took it back to them, after a month of they having it, they did not find the problem, they could not fix it and gave it back to me, now the car does not run. The joke costed me $4000+ and my car is going to the junk yard. I will rather consider other options next time.

Stopped in to get a tire leak (nail) repaired. I was also shopping for new wheels and tires for my SUV (probably $2-3k), so I asked about their resources for these. The owner/manager could not have cared less about my inquiry so Im taking my business somewhere more helpful. The guy in back who actually fixed my tire was helpful and did a good job, but Ill never go back there.

Once I was there, Eddie informed me that my tire just needed to be patched and he took care of it.Most companies would have just changed the tire as I was already expecting. The honesty reflected by Eddie and Liberty Tires is exceptional and rare, especially in Los Angeles. Got some used tires. One was in great condition the other was really good.. Both for 40$ and they took our old tire and put it as a spare and work was great and fast! Very helpful! Highly recommend!

As a young person going into a mechanic shop many shops will try and take advantage of you for not being knowledgeable about cars, not here! Liberty tires is an honest mechanic shop I have done business with them for a couple years now and they have always been honest, i have gotten my engine light fixed here when it had issues with oil and coolant leaking, they worked hard fixing it and did a good job on it! I have gotten a few tires from here, I always get my oil change here! Many shops don’t let you bring your own oil but liberty does! If you have any tire issues or alignment issues this is the place it’s a small shop so be patient they may be packed and waiting can be a while, as for pricing it’s reasonable, they only charge you for what’s needed nothing else, if you’re a female this place is friendly and won’t rip you off! To bad I’m moving out of state and will have to find a new mechanic:/

These guys were available to help straight away when I saw a screw in my tire just as I was preparing to head home from day care with my son at the end of the day. They were very friendly and helpful, and as the screw hadnt actually punctured the tire they wouldnt charge me even after fully inspecting it.I will be back as soon as I need any new tires, trust these guys 100%.

I actually had something very similar experience with the same guy Nate. That guy has a lot of mental issues. Liberty tires check your employees they will get you in lot of trouble. They can’t go around and threaten to hurt your customers physically. This place is a joke.

The personnel offered consultation services like you would get for a prescription in a pharmacy. I was touched.My experience here has been the very best along all auto service shops.

They were fast. My mechanic walked me through the options he thought was best. He really seemed to weigh cost and safety when giving me options and let me look at the tire when he saw something unsafe.

I went in to replace my tires. The tech evaluated them, added air for tire pressure and told me my tires still had life left. Couldve easily sold me four tires, instead was honest and earned a customer for the future, along with my referrals.

Came here on a Sunday to get my tire patched after I found a nail wedged in it. I was so happy they were opened. Once we arrived we were helped quickly and were out the door in less then 10 min.

I have been taking my vehicles here for years and recommending this place because they are not only local and inexpensive, but honest and reliable well.Additionally, my busy schedule usually prevents me from taking my vehicle for services during business hours, and theyre open until 7 p.m. on weekdays, which allows me to go after work.I have done numerous services there including buying new and used tires, tire mounting, wheel alignment, brakes, oil change, etc.Yesterday my oil minimum light came on and I went there to see if they have my Audi Q5s specialty oil in stock (5W-40). Louis said they didnt and so I asked if I went down the street to the auto parts store and purchase the oil and filter myself, if they could perform the oil change for me, and he said yes. I was in desperate need to get the oil change done yesterday because it has been nearly 90 days since I was supposed to get it done and my oil minimum light was on.I bought the specialty oil from OReillys Auto parts down the street and Louis was able to get my vehicle completed within a very short waiting time after 6 p.m. on a Friday evening.These guys are the pinnacle of trusted mechanics, and I will continue to go there and recommend friends and family to get their vehicle serviced there as well.

Great service, fast turnover, no BS. Been going here for years for tires, brakes, battery, and oil changes. The price estimate before working is the same price when finished. Theyve returned my car to me several ways including locking the keys in the car so I can pick it up at night with my valet key. Tires came with warranty and already had to redeem a brand new tire after finding a nail in the road, only a $25 service fee. Warranty should last 10,000 miles of normal driving (based on tread). Highly recommend these guys.PS. you can wait at the bar next door.

I stopped in after work one day to grab a used tire for a friends car I had borrowed because they were one of the few tire shops open after 6pm when I got off work. They had an excellent selection of used tires and they let me pick from a few different options to find the one with the most meat on it. For $40 installed this was a solid deal. I will for sure be back when I need tires for my truck!

Got my car fixed here a few times. They are usually pretty efficient, and will tell you whats wrong with the car and quote you a price right away. I get the sense that this is trustworthy auto shop.

Truly honest shop. I thought I had a permanently leaking tire and was prepared to buy two new ones when the Liberty mechanic found a small nail in the leaky tire. He said hed patch it up for $15 and the tires would be good to go for another year. Ill go there again for anything I need.

I previously went to chatsworth auto tire and repair and they screwed me over so i was very cautious when i researched anther place to take my keep for the repairs if needed .. not only did Tom confirm my suspicions about Chatsworth auto but they also fixed the issue and went the extra mile with out even charging me. As a woman it can be challenging finding an auto place that won’t try to take advantage and get over on you and who will do a great job. I wish you guys much success and thank you again guys

I visited this shop because of the great reviews but I had a belt installed here that failed within a week. The issue was that one of the hoses had a big hole in it, and it caused power steering to leak because the timing of the belts was incorrect. The alternator is now ruined. Cheap service comes at a price! Next time exercise your due diligence. Update: The tires I purchased from them as well are already flat. Horrible shop.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! THEY WILL DO MORE DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR!I brought my car in to diagnose a front end issue. They let me know two days later that they they did not want to work on the issue because they did not know what to do to fix it. I picked up my car that day. When I started it, it then had the check engine light on. It did not have the check engine light on when I dropped it off. They offered to clear it for me but not check what the issue was. I declined as I thought they already messed it up and did not want their average mechanics messing up my car any more.When I got to my home in LA I notice they had dented in the top of my car top carrier. I called them and they said they were sure that they did not do this but if I brought it down next week they would be able to look at it. I am from out of town (San Francisco) and can will not be here next week I told him.The owner Tom did not care that they had damaged my car and said he was leaving for the day and to send him pictures. Sorry I can bring it in at your convenience. You damaged my car and should be attentive to the issue. Bottom line these guys do not care about you or your car. They are the worst kind of mechanics. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR.

Nice guys! My previous mechanic use to charge me for a new tire every time I had a flat. They patched two tires in half-an-hour and charged me $20. They are my tire place from now on.
