Stay Away from this laundry. This place is dirty full of roaches half of the machines are broken and dont wash right. machine take your money good luck getting reimbursement from the owner. Hispanic short lady is rude and no help

This place is HORRIBLE DO NOT COME !! Customer service is terrible the restroom is disgusting. The machines dont work have a small piece of tape on the coin slot... once i put my clothes inside is when I finally realized the machine was not working. This was by far the worst experience I look up to see what time the laundromat close it said 10 when you get there since 10:00 I lyfted to their the lady close the door before 8 and put a sign on it saying they closed at 8 would not let me in did not car I just lyfted there and told me she dont have a car and she has to go if the owner does nothing about this in the am when i call il call in on this place it needs to be shut down and reading the reviews now I dont see how its not very very very unpleasant 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😡😡

VERY POOR BUSINESS AT LA MODELO COIN LAUNDRY!!! THEY DESERVE NO STARS AT ALL. MONEY CHANGING MACHINE ATE MY $10. I SPOKE TO THE FEMALE OWNER BY CELL PHONE. I ASKED THAT SHE PLEASE PAY MY MONEY BACK TODAY 11/4/2018 AND SHE SAID THAT SHE WOULD BUT THAT I WOULDNT WASH HERE ANYMORE BECAUSE IM A LIAR MENTIROSA! I GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AND THEY GAVE ME THE FINGER. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND MY MONEY HERE AND I HOPE YOU DONT EXPERIENCE SUCH AN EMBARRASSING MOMENT. ATTENDANT PAID ME BACK BECAUSE SHE FELT EMBARRASSED. THEY HAVE CAMERAS AND SHELL FIND MY $10 IN HER STUPID BROKEN DOWN MACHINE.

No costumer service at all, no soap on stock on vending machines. They need to improve their service and find another attendant more proactive

This is a fantastic laundromat. It is clean, the washing machines look new and the owner Matt is very friendly and helpful. Compared to another laundry I am actually able to put more clothes in the regular washing machines and this might be a strange thing to say but also the other laundromat faded the colors of my clothes made it feel starchy and created a few holes in my clothes ... strange. Not at LA Modelo Coin Laundry! My clothes look clean and feel soft. There is enough parking and plenty of places to get something to eat or drink. I am glad I found this place!

Pros: Prices are good. Washers work well and overall it’s pretty clean. During the day it’s not busy. Folding tables, floors, dryers are clean.Overall the place looks clean and decent.Cons: Some if their dryers don’t dry so well. And if you put a quarter in it will give you 15 mins but if you add another right after it will only add 10 mins. I had to wait until it stopped turning to add another just to get 15 mins instead of 10.Overall I’ve only had an issue with a washer once. Their dryers are horrible.

Had the most unpleasant experience at this laundry mat. The worker on staff was very disrespectful and called my family members stupid because we didnt want to watch videos with her young grandson who was hoovering around my family. Additionally, that same worker gave me attitude because my stuff fell on the floor. Worst experience ever. Shame that its a nice quiet place to wash.

They close whenever they feel like it apparently. Go elsewhere.

My family have been coming to this laundry for 12 years, Tina and Shalene are good hard working people, they keep very clean the laundry, if the costumers need help with the machines, they ready to help, I personal appreciate to have them in this laundry, but we notice when Tina and Shalene are taking care of the place making SURE people put the right thing in the washing machine, some people gets angry and disrespect, I hope everything gets well with the laundry personal because they are dear in this comunity

We have been coming to this Laundromat for years. Seen three different groups to help us since we started coming. A man, then a woman, and now we always see at least two people cleaning and making sure everyone has a fair chance. People have a tendency to leave clothes in washers or dryers when things are busy, and Ive been politely asked if I was done. I notice other customers get edgy when waiting behind a seemingly inconsiderate or distracted customer who doesnt seem to notice when someone stages their clothes near a desired machine, so its comforting to have people doing real admin work.When I visit other Laundromats the people almost seem to be hiding and here they ask about my family and make me feel at home. I wash my military uniforms here and they show respect for that which means alot.For cleanliness I am totally impressed.My daughter is older but I see other families come and order is maintained while the whole family, including even the smallest kids are treated very well.Supplies, like laundry soap always seem to be available for purchase at a reasonable price, and snacks are at 1980s prices. Most drinks are 50 cents, and snacks are mostly 75 cents.They have a glacier water machine in the parking lot as an extra convenience, which is a step up from many bottled waters, except maybe Spring water. Anyways it has like 7 filters, and Ive tested a glacier water machine for ppm against my tap water and was impressed, so its always been a favored purification system.What more do you want. They will change the TV if you want but normally just play popular Spanish channels and this is a mostly Spanish speaking neighborhood.Safety?I care too. My wife and daughter need to feel safe when I am not there, and they do. I wouldnt say its a norm, but theyve actually dropped my wifes laundry off when she ended up needing a ride at least once. The parking lot is clean, with no hiding spots and would take a Ninja to come down the hill and over the fence to surprise us, so yep the parking area feels safe. And, in compliance, they have a blue placard parking space for people in wheelchairs, or other disabilities. Theres a ramp for wheelchairs or to take carts out to the parking lot. You cant beat it! They will assist if necessary Im pretty sure, and you can call them.I am sick and tired if restaurants and Laundromats nowadays, even National fast food joints let the soap dispenser, toilet paper, and paper towel dispensers run empty, often all three combined! Here? Clean, soap is full, so are the paper essentials. Those other places spread Hepatitis, but shouldnt you expect cleanliness at a Laundry place!?I was especially impressed to find out that they even add some bleach to a pine cleaning product for mopping, etc.If I covered all bases its because I am a detail attentive person/aka anal.Some secrets:The dryers by the coin machines are probably the hottest if you want to save about a quarter per dryer load, and the large $3 washing machines by the back wall near the restroom is probably a best value. My wife stuffs that thing full.Amenities: If you want real food, you have three top choices. A lady makes Papusas right next door; and then theresa fantastic Seafood Food Truck operation, that rented a dining room is about 1 -1/2 block East (walk), and Friday nights one block away you have Lorenas Papusas outdoors in front of a small church at Whiteside and Herbert. She caters, so they are good. Decadent! Get the Revuelto!Ive always enjoyed Laundry. Growing up we had a Laundromat that had a machine that made cups of soup and cups of Hot Chocolate. I even, or especially,... loved rainy days there.Today, my familys favorite thing, other than going to the movies is getting Shrimp Cocktails to eat while our clothes are getting clean. The ambiance is nice, with good lighting and little tables looking out through clean windows facing the street which is nice to look at-Ivy across street.Get out, give your machine a break and experience a real community experience at a quality place like this.😉

Worst experience at this laundary I always come here to wash my clothes it’s been almost 2 years and nothing has ever happenToday I was sitting in the bench and left my soap on top of the washer and it disappearI have always left my stuff on top of it and nothing ever happens till today

This LAUNDRY mat is the worse staff is rude as hell...close early says 10pm close 730pm if not there time and theyll kick you out too...never going there again the other staff that was there very nice people bring them back!!!
