Very helpful. I went to look for Tamayo Jewelers studs for my friend, not knowing all of the lingo. They were a referral from my mother. They spent a couple of hours with me and the price was very reasonable. Maria was awesome!

I had two rare watches that a few places were not able to repair. This place was not only able to repair them, they actually were able to make them sparkle again. My favorite part about this place was that the service provided beat my expectations completely. Pricing is also very reasonable. They are super friendly and love what they do. Went in there and was attended by an old gentleman with an aggressive attitude. I was looking for something unique for my sister since her birthday was around the corner. I asked him multiple questions about a certain design and he literally told me “are you going to buy something or just waste my time because I have better things to do”. I rather spend more money and have better customer service than to come here ever again.

This place was recommended to me by a coworker so I thought Id give it a try. Replaced 3 batteries in less that 10 minutes. Super fast, convenient and friendly. Best of all, the visit is so fast you could park in the 20 minute zone.

Tamayo Jewelry did such a great job on my engagement ring! Davids design was breathtaking ... such a beautiful ring. Of course my finance got it 2 sizes too big but Tamayo Jewelry was able to resize it right away so I could start wearing it sooner than later.

They were very nice and they saved me money by telling me weather a watch could be fixed or not. They really treat you like family. Their prices are very fair. They have warned a new customer. I will send all my friends there from now on.

Im shocked that these people are in the jewelry business because its a business where you need to be kind and sensitive to peoples needs. These people are very rude. They mis-sized my husbands ring and were super snotty about fixing it. Then, when my ring broke after they resized it, they gave me a terrible time about fixing it. They told me my ring was old and thin. While I understand that its an antique, shouldnt you stand by your work? They did end up fixing the ring, but were so rude about it. The man working there very flippantly told me there was no guarantee this time without even looking at my face. They didnt thank me for the business or express a single kind word. Never again!

Paid $10 for a new battery and $40 for a water pressure test to fix a broken gasket. I was in a hurry to catch a flight and he squeezed me in to accommodate! Great service!

The store is on the second floor across from La Cocina. They have a nice selection of Casio G Shock and Citizen watches. Both brothers are extremely knowledgeable regarding watches, gold and silver and can also provide an entertaining first hand in depth history of El Mercado de Los Angeles as their father established this store in 1968.They can also do a class ring for any high school in the US, customized with any personal preferences. Im planning to take a few watches in need of battery replacement to them next weekend as their labor prices are very reasonable.

Wow! So glad I found this place. Its conveniently located next to Westfield Mall, so right off the Powell MUNI station. The woman who works inside was very friendly and replaced the battery on 2 of my MK watches for $20 in less than 10 minutes - without an appointment!!

Horrible horrible horrible experience went for a watch battery which the guy told me it would be 12.50the guy broke a piece of watch told me I had to pay 5 more dollars which I didnt have so I ended up walking away with a broken battery and now a watch I cant even wear these people are clearly scam artist
