These guys are the worst. I needed to postpone our initial consultation due to covid. They still deducted a consultation fee for a meeting we never had. A lousy $350 for a phone meeting that never happened. If this looser company needs $350 that bad they must suck big time. Now I canceled my whole contract. Beware if looser companies like this.

Run Fast and Run Far!!! What a terrible experience. They approached us in May of 2017, and we cancelled their service, or at least we thought we did in October 2017 without even being close to having a website we could go live with. Their pitch is they’ll build you a free website if you agree to be a “case study” customer. So please look us up and give us a call...we are certainly a case study, just not one they had hoped for.I cant count how many times I would submit a change request or simple instructions and after a week or so I would get an email saying the changes had been completed. I would check and to great disappointment, most changes would not be completed. Finally I got so frustrated I asked to speak to one of their developers, but was told I could not as they are out of Eastern Europe. I said I didn’t care and that I would take the time in the middle of the night to have a conversation with them. That was when I was told that the language barrier was too great, so it would be a waste of my time.Soon after that, I decided enough is enough. I had just thrown away $2,000 for nothing. I spoke with my service rep, I was done...cancel my service. “I understand”, she said.I never heard from them again, until a week ago when I got a letter from a collections agency demanding $6,000 due in 7 days. They continued to bill me through May 2018, with not even so much as a phone call or anything. You see I must have screwed up the cancellation in my anger. An email to your service rep saying “I’m not giving you another penny”, followed by a phone call saying cancel our service does not contractually constitute a cancellation.So unknowingly, my bill kept on racking up for a service that I thought was cancelled, and of course was not using. But they kept billing, with not even a courtesy call to say, “hey, we’re still billing you”. I hadn’t called them or logged into the system, so clearly I was done. This has to be the slimmest/dirtiest scam. I was blown away.I have emailed them and called them all week to get this sorted out, but they are not responding any of my emails and they must have blocked my calls because when I call their 800 number the phone just rings and rings and nobody answers.Maybe they went out of business due to their slimy tactics.

Webstyle found our very sad website back in early December, Michael was very friendly and made us feel very confident about hiring Webstyle as our SEO company. By mid-December we had had our meeting with the lovely Tina, she listened attentively and helped us get our ideas out on paper to provide a framework for what we wanted out of our website.Any time weve had any questions, concerns or changes (Im quite the indecisive person), they are quick to provide a solution and are always professional and accommodating.Our website is about to go live and we couldnt be happier with the results. This company does not do what is promised, has the worst customer service (their designers are all in Europe so good luck speaking to anyone working directly on your site) and their prices are absurd! I pay $399/month as a maintenance fee. Not sure what for since none of my requests are acknowledged. While my site looks beautiful (finally) The amount of issues I’ve had with customer service and updates is ridiculous.I was impressed with Lindsay who wrote the copy (verbiage) for my site. I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with here explaining the essence of my company and forwarded our existing copy. Within a week she had written the most professional and accurate copy for business.In short, unless you have time and money to spare, look elsewhere.

This is my second attempt at reviewing Webstyle on Google. The first review has been removed.I cannot recommend Webstyle. Other than designing a website that technically belongs to them, and you pay $399/mo, there is no benefit.They begin charging you after your first design meeting, but then they may take months to actually show you the final product and make it live. When I complained about the charges, their response was to offer to put up an incomplete, incorrect website online. After this issue was sorted out, problems continued.Pages that only Webstyle can edit are a mess. Emails back and forth, confirmations of corrections that were not actually made on the website. The whole presentation is unprofessional.Additionally, every time you contact Webstyle, your representative is a new staff member. Tina and Danette were the only consistent staff members but were not actual account reps. They are part of the set-up process only. I found myself emailing Danette, to be referred to my new account rep every time I reached out to Webstyle.Then dealing with the account reps was unpleasant and a waste of time. One account rep spent an hour of my time, telling me what a nightmare it was to deal with his co-workers, promised to clear up issues, then never followed through on the issues. Another rep showed up at my business unannounced then left a message complaining that I was not available.Now the reason you choose Webstyle: SEO. At no point in the almost 3 years I was with Webstyle, was any sort of SEO reviewed with me. No changes were made to the website other than grammatical or price changes that I requested from Webstyle. I was advised after signing their contract to continue paying for advertising on YELP. No Webstyle employee contacted me to discuss SEO analytics. It was only on looking at the analytics for the site, online that I realized YELP was really only generating business for me.Do your business a favor. List your business on YELP, build your own website (maybe not so fancy) and save the expense of a shiny new $399/month website that really does nothing that you cant do on your own. No unnecessary expense and no headaches, trying to get Webstyle to perform as promised.

Im sure they offer a great service, but their sales tactics are pretty shady and leave me not wanting to do business with them. I was recently contacted by one of their sales guys explaining that their company is new the states and theyre looking for case study companies. The language was very specific to that which resembles an offer to to perform work at at either a discounted rate, or free. Of course I didnt think it would be free, but after my 1-on-1 consultation I pretty much called the guy out on his tactics - politely of course. He understood and proceeded to tell me that no such case study is actually being done and hes just there to pitch me their product (which was about $400/mo BTW). May work for some cos budgets - but definitely not mine. Best of luck to Webstyle in their venture here stateside but Id suggest being a bit more transparent with your potential clients. Those of us whove been in sales call that a bait and switch and its typically frowned upon.

After three months of time and effort, Webstyle came back and said, they could not do what they committed to doing and was going to pull out on our agreement. If I had tried to do the same, they would make me keep paying until I could cancel under the terms. A bunch of 20 somethings with no practical business experience. Run fast, run far.

A few months before we were prepared to overhaul our website we received a legal paper size foam board of a mockup of a new website for us. We were so impressed by the quality and personalization of the marketing material that we hung on to it for possible future use. Once we decided to redo our website we reached out and were taken care of very well and professionally from the beginning. Our website went live at the end of June and we are very happy with how it turned out. The process of getting it live took a little longer than expected, due to the fact that there are a few people on each account who each are responsible for different things, there were a few lost in translations moments, but we are over the moon about the final project.
