Very upset. Paid $250 for personal training September 10 for 8 sessions. & the gym closed yesterday September 24 for good. Didn’t get my money back. You guys did us completely wrong! I actually liked coming here. You don’t do that, get people to sign up & then close without giving them a refund!!!! So aggravated!😤😤😤Would be great for Fitness 19 to buy out a space where Home Depot at Hyde park is at.The only reason i loved Fitness 19 is because 1. it made me feel good to come in & put work in & i left satisfied.2. Also because it’s convenient for me from home & work to bike to the gym. (It was also convenient for others as well).3. It was affordable monthly price + the personal training also affordableWhich is also others reasoning too.Super devastated 😤☹️.

This modern gym is great! Has all up to date machines and is very clean and maintained! There are sanitizing stations around the gym to wipe down machines which is awesome for safety! The staff are always making sure that customers are also following safety guidelines. The staff are very friendly and helpful to all. Definitely the gym to be at!

Always consistently clean, the customer service is solid, and its never too crowded or busy. Youre able to come in, get your training session in, and leave without any incident or pause.

Ive been a member of the Crenshaw location for a number of years now, and I can easily say that it is one of the best gyms that Ive ever been a part of. The equipment is both top-notch and well maintained, with the personal trainers always being ready to lend a helpful hand. The manager, Daniel, was and always is very helpful with any and all questions that I may have. Would highly recommend becoming a member of this gym. You wont regret it!

I like it because its close to my house. Also with covid, paper towels and spray bottles are available..... However its annoying that people cant put back the weights.

I wasnt sure about this place since its not my regular gym then I walked in. Plenty of treadmills, the equipment seemed new and top quality. The place is more spacious than I expected. My only complaint might be the benches are set too close to the dumbell rack which makes it a little difficult to walk around. Even the restrooms are nice. All n all its a good place to workout.

I have been going to this Fitness 19 location for about as long as its been open. I like that there are a couple of power racks, plenty of benches and dumbells, cable stations, treadmills, and even a heavy bag. The staff has always been very friendly and they do a pretty good job of fixing equipment when it needs to get repaired. I am fortunate to live close to this little gem.

The gym is excellent, and the environment is both friendly and inviting staff is fantastic, especially the guy with the hat. The equipment is well maintained and spacious joined after my frost workout!

When I came back from college to LA this was the nearest gym I found to my house. I came in as a guest first (you can obtain a guest pass online) and I felt extremely comfortable at the first try. The gym is never really overly crowded, so it gives you access to any cardio machine you wish to use and any heavy weight item of your preference. With that being said, if you are someone who is intimidated to work out in front of crowds, that’s not really an issue here. The staff are extremely friendly people and are always willing to help you out with any issues. Plus, with two of the memberships you get to bring guests with along! Which is always comforting. Overall, this is a great gym and I 100% recommend!

At night the entryway has good lighting. The two levels give good spacing for customers. Machines are in great shape, and the employees are not rude. Short wait time outside due to the good flow of customers.

Glad that F19 Crenshaw has reopened! The accommodations done to follow covid guidelines are great. They have temp checks at the entrance and have several disinfecting sprays all throughout the club. The facility is clean and all equipment is functional.Staff is always really welcoming. Their customer service is great! James was really helpful with showing me around the facility and explaining some of the machines!

I really enjoy this gym. Cleanest gym I have visited. They really know what they are doing especially post covid. Very good equipment! Super helpful staff Manny and Kim are my personal trainers very knowledgeable and no disappointments.

Whats not to love about this place? You see high octane people full of life, the gym looks lot bigger inside, so much machines and equipment. It hurts my heart to see it close down again due to covid-19 but hopefully it will come back stronger than ever

Worst gym possible. You’re locked into a contract and they make it impossible for you to get out of it. Even if you have to cancel for serious reasons that are out of your control.

Definitely, one of the excellent cleanest gyms, and the staff, pleasant, always cleansing, and is usually on top of this matters to make it run smooth. fitness center has everything you need. usual it is one of the nice gyms ive been to thinking about that i have been to many gyms, very organized. Angel is the only one i see shifting up and down ensuring the fitness center is walking. I dont see all people else do what he does. desirable costumer provider and great atiitude

Its a nice, quaint local gym. The morning crew of workers is the best, theyre always friendly and accomidating. Ive been going here for about 1.5 years now and I love that there is enough equipment for my daily workout routine to be completed seamlessly. Its never super crowded, its one of the few gyms we have locally and Im grateful for it. I only gave 4 stars because the evening crew is annoying af and they recently got on my nerves about some bs....lol. other than that....great place to stay in shape

A Mngr I spoke with in early March said my account showed I owed payments?? Keep in mind this is during a pandemic. He reassured me that it was a mistake & my account wouldnt be charged. Well guess what!? they took $193+ from my checking account. One month after this happened Im still waiting for my money.

Of all the gyms I have being in, this is the one that I had the best experience. The staff is so nice and friendly, if you need help in something they will help you right away. I really recommend the personal training, it is a good experience with the personal trainers. I also really recommend Kimberly as a personal trainer, she has been so nice and friendly with me, and has given me the best best training since I join. She can make your work out really fun and you will not be disappointed with her. Best trainer ever.!

I have been enroll in other gym and this is the best one. I like how they keep everything clean. All the equipment are new and well keep. Is not too crowded and the customer service is great. I gave them 4 stars ⭐️ because I have hired a personal trainer and recently I went to get my first session and it was not Trainer and nobody called me before to cancel my appointment. I also talked with the front desk service and she told me she didn’t know nothing about it. They called the manager of the trainers and they move my session from weekends to M-F because it was not trainers at weekends. 🤷🏽‍♀️ So I had to adjust my schedule. Now I have a new trainer assigned he is friendly.

Ruby and the general manager at the Crenshaw fitness 19 is very nice and helpful, good customer service and very knowledgeable. They help keep the equipment clean and sanitized. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because you have a couple of other employees the that are not helpful, have attitude problems and seems like they dont want to be at work. While Im there I dont never see them cleaning or sanitizing the equipment they just sitting most of the time that I am there. Also they need to keep the restrooms cleaned more often. But thats why I gave a 4 star, for those 2 reasons.

Very poor ventilated, it always feel hot inside. Staff should clean the machines more often instead of having the customers clean every machine they use.

The gym here is amazing! The staff is excellent. The equipment is well kept. I enjoy the environment. Doesn’t get too packed. There is an available LICENSED nutritionist. Plenty of trainers with various experience. Love the place. Howard who signed me up helped me save on my membership too

I just got a whole year membership at fitness 19 because I used to be a guess/accompany with my moms member ship last year and all I remember was motivation when ever I go to that gym everyone there except maybe 2 people always go there motivated ready to work out they dont go on there phones this gym is on a whole different level from planet fitness. Like today was my first day having my own member ship and best believe I woke up at 7:30 in the morning ran all the way to the gym which takes me about 20 minutes and I went working out for almost 2 hours non stop the equipment there is amazing theres always something new once a month and they got this corona thing down packed some what and not only that my muscles feels exhausted even while Im typing my four arm feels anguish. I love this gym I cant wait to see how Ill look like at the end of these 12 months

Fitness19 has been one of my greatest experience ever. I always meet new people I learn a lot of things not only from the trainers but also from the people that work out there. Gary is a great trainer and I learn a lot from him and he has inspired me to push my self and keep going. Angel is another trainer that has taught me a lot about working out and has pushed me to do better, he’s very hard working and provides good customer service. Fitness19 is the best gym, it’s a 5 star for me!! And the music is good!!

This gym is pretty nice, I like it because its always clean and the staff is really friendly. The environment is chill and its never packed, so i never have to wait for equipment. They also offer personal training so if you dont know how to use something they can guide you through it. Kimberly is one of the the trainers there and i strongly recommend her, she gave me a couple of good tips that really helped and her training is legit.

Excellent service ask for Chris if you need a personal trainer hes the real deal! Literally the best gym experience Ive ever had. He pushes you and is very knowledgeable of the bodys anatomy so that you understand whatever is being worked.

I love this facility! I have been apart of quite a few gyms before, but I must say this one stands out most to me. The energy, the cleanliness, and the customer service is out of this world. Danny the GM has been more than helpful on working with me and my financial situation and my agreement. Definitely recommend to anyone on a budget but still wants the amenities. I say it’s better than any 24 hour or LA fitness!! Awesome deals

The clean is pretty clean, I like it, out of the other gyms I have been to. its small but everything is coordinated. The 15 personal training sessions that I had with Angel the trainer are 5 stars. He cares about what the costumer needs and attending to their safety in the beginning with the training. I would get another training session with him.

Trainers are very well knowledgeable. Taught me some things I didn’t know, very well worth the time. Angel trained my friend, def knows what he is talking about. He taught me a few things I didn’t know. The gym is cool, it’s always clean, and the staff is always friendly.

I think the gym is really nice and clean, a lot of friendly employees, very active. If you need any help with any machines or any questions they’ll answer. The music is good, you can vibe with it. My friend recommended me to try out this gym and I ended up joining. And it’s convenient because it is down the street from my house. 1 pet peeve they don’t have showers. But Angel is very nice and friendly, and he always smiles at me when he sees me.

I just got to LA a couple of weeks ago. The first thing on my list was to find a gym. Not only was 19 fitness a great location its also the best prices in the area.Once I got there I was greeted really kindly by Angel. He answered all my financial questions as well as well as going into details about my goals. Ive been really happy so far and super excited about what the future of my health journey will bring me!

Great gym to work out

Ive been training with Kim since the beginning of April and Ive seen amazing results! Not only have I lost 35lbs but I learned so many new workouts. She also helped me with my nutrition and suggested what to eat to make sure Im eating healthier but still getting the nutrients I need to stay on top of my fitness game!

Good price point 12-25 depending on which package/deal. 2squat racks, 3benches, plus a good amount of freeweights and machines. No showers or amenities - its a simple gym with good lighting and ventilation.

Beautiful gym! Just opened up. Their representatives are really nice and helpful. Really nice restrooms and turf area to do my weight training. My kids loved the play room when we went to go see it and had to add it right away. Great small home gym. From getting a massage to getting a tan!

Love this place amazing equipment, cheap, clean gym. I used to go to black diamond but I moved to this gym and let me say its an amazing change worth every penny. If you are ever there ask for Don. Hes the manager great down to earth guy and hard worker making sure everything is cool. Check this place out!! Its a great place to work out as well. Also great personal training help!

Beautiful gym! Went by today for a workout and was in shock with how luxurious and high end the facility is. They have a great variety of workout equipment including a huge free weight section and functional training area, as well as machines throughout the facility. They even offer boot camps, aerobics and cycling classes. The locker rooms look like they came out of a 5-star hotel. Best of all, the staff is so amazingly friendly and helpful. Staff members and personal trainers go out of there way to make sure you know how to use the equipment properly and are happy to answer any questions. They are so sincere in helping to make sure you are achieving your goals. Thank you Fitness 19!!

Ive been to a lot of gyms in my life, but this one by far is one of the best. They have great equipment, a wonderful staff, and the people that go there are very nice and even give you some training tips.But, what makes this the best place for me is, my personal trainer Kimberly. Shes fantastic and is always pushing me to limits I didnt think I could reach. There are moments where I want to quit, want to take a long break, or just want to fall to the floor and cry, but she reminds me of the goal Ive set for myself and lets me know to not quit and that sometimes itll hurt and sometimes Ill feel like dying, but once its over, its over and Ill be over the pain. I wish I could have her following me throughout my day to day in order to push me to do better, but I cant. If youre thinking of a new gym to go to, please go to this one or at least try it out. If you do end up becoming a member, you should consider taking up Kimberly as a personal trainer. 12/10 trainer.

Its cool bro, a little crowded here and there, but its mostly good. Clean. My favorite thing about the gym is that i get in and out, i dont have to wait for machines. Angels service has always been good to me, excellent, no complaints

Fittness 19 is an awesome place to workout. Their equipments are brand new. Everything works perfect. They have all types of equipment that will help you archive any goal you want to.If its about loosing weight or building muscle, this is the place. They will give you your meal plan of how to lose weight. Everyone i met so far are serious and help each other to workout too. The trainers are awesome. Very friendly people. Staff is friendly. Have been a member since end of 2018 and still enjoy it. see familiar faces daily. Never extremely crowded, yet morning and early afternoon is a great time to avoid any crowd. Better access to free the weights.

Best thing about this gym is that they have turf and a punching bag! Its not overly crowded which I love and its super clean! The staff are amazing and motivating! I love there energy and are always there to help! I will most definitely recommend this gym to anybody .

Awesome local gym, used to go to 24 down the street but this is a way better gym. Although it is smaller in size, they have cleaner and updated equipment. The people who come here are also super friendly and makes it comfortable while you are working out. Hoping it stays like this for time to come

Super excited about this gym! The staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful with everything! I used to belong to 24 and switched when I found out everything I could get for only 20 bucks a month here. They also have redlight therapy which i haven’t used before but after having it explained to me I’m super excited to use. Overall such a great gym where I feel comfortable and have plenty of equipment to get a great workout in everyday

Since this gym has opened its been nothing but the best! Very convenient for my family and friends. I’m able to workout out with a personal trainer. My workout has changed the way i eat, thanks to my P/T. Opens early enough for me to come get my day started......with their hydro massage beds too 💯

Excellent workout with Kit today. The gym is nice and clean with friendly instructors who really know how to get the classes moving.Its been a pleasure getting up each morningheading to the gym for one great workout after another. Just what my body needs.

The customer service is very good and the staff is very helpful. The gym is clean, just the restrooms need a little attention from time to time. And sometimes the machines need a little dust off. I usually see Angel and Rubio cleaning the gym. Angel was very helpful and went overboard with his help. Angel was very friendly and helpful when I had questions.

THE BEST this club is simply the best Ive ever been affiliated with. Ive been a part of many fitness clubs, which most quite more expensive. This is the cleanest, most up to date equipment and friendly and helpful staff.

I joined the new gym this week. All new equipment, and loved the hydro bed. Great for my back problems. Ruby was so sweet. Kept coming over to see how I was doing. Great fitness center.

People check your bank statements. I was being over charged. I was told per fitness 19 that it was due to enfficiant funds in the account, but I keep money in the bank. They told me each time they charge my BANK the payment was returned and they charge additional 15$ each return transaction. They charge me 15$ (3x) plus my monthly payment of $9.99. Im going to go cancel my membership with them. I told my son to check his bank account because he has his own membership with them as well and I knew I was not tripping they have been over charging his account too. And he had money in the bank. Which it clearly showed, however, I just needed to be sure that Im not tripping or overreacting. Just saying. Be careful.

I like fitness 19. It’s amazing that it is here. When I first met Angel he explained to me how working out here is a good enviroment and the perks that come with the membership are beneficial. It’s a great and fun workout enviroment. Make sure to go see Angel, he really cares.

I’ve been to a lot of gyms and Fitness 19 Crenshaw is the cleanest and has the nicest equipment. There’s a non-intimidating environment and everyone is friendly. It’s also cheaper for me and my wife than a single membership anywhere else. Highly recommended.
