I wouldnt join this gym during the covid era because people workout with out wearing masks and the basket ball court is like a covid cesspoolThey need to ticket people without a mask or at least enforce it. Come here if you want covid 🤣 Watch out for no mask people like them

Machines and weights are old, and options for weights are limited.Worst problem here is the clientele. Its rare to see people re-rack. People regularly blast their own music from their own personal speakers (including staff). Not uncommon to have people jumping rope in the middle of heavy traffic areas, or walking around without shirts. Staff seems to have given up on enforcing rules. Ive seen patrons get hostile when asked to re-rack weights. I cant believe there isnt more oversight from their corporate headquarters.

Why isnt 24 hr fitness inforcing the mask mandate?!? I left my gym in Manhattan Beach because there was always a couple of people without masks; I come here and literally no one is wearing their masks. Theres approximately 30 people and no ventilation here on the 3rd floor.. I pay a membership like every one of these ignorant people. If you want to go maskless....exercise at home! The people not adhering to wearing a masks are the same ones that dont believe in vaccinations and are infecting people.

I like this gym! It is conveniently located and they have upgraded a lot of the machines. Ive requested machines and they were super responsive so fingers crossed I will soon see the hip thrust machine. The staff is always really nice and there are a good selection of machines. Hoping they will get to stay open till 11pm soon

Not 24 hours as advertised. Purposely left out that this facility hasn’t been 24 hours for years now (even after asking) when signing up for membership. Paid for the year, and doesn’t look like I will be refunded 2 weeks into the year commitment. Associates need to be more attentive at making sure there’s paper towels to clean machines off after use, especially since we’re back to 100% capacity and can go maskless. ALSO, not sure why the water fountains aren’t back operational. You either have to conserve the water you bring, buy a water, or go fill your water up in the bathroom (gross). The equipment is cool though..

Smooth location with an excellent choice of both weight and cardio machines. top information is there is a pool, horrific information is the pool best has lanes. adequate parking is in a close-by structure which you want to drag a price ticket to get to and validation for it is straightforward to achieve at the device via the front desk. sadly they have got currently decreased the hours here and this location is no longer open 24 hours

Glad its open again and i can swim! One of the few locations with an operating pool, 2 lanes.

It’s a good gym. It gets buys at times but for the most part I’m able to have a good work out. The have multiple basketball courts. Overall a good gym

Decent place to work out. However, missing a lot of basic equipment. It’s almost impossible to find any weighted plates under 25 lbs and it’s also impossible to find dumbbells around this weight as well, specifically, the 15, 20, 25, & 30 ones. I will give a higher rating once that gets addressed.

Enjoy the location and vibe and Ive been there for over two years.The customer service is okay, I had asked them to cancel someone that was under me multiple times and it took over a month for it to be actually cancelled.I cancelled the membership in the beg of march, never received an email or call, found out the person who said they cancelled the membership never cancelled so I was charged for that month. So I went up there and wanted my refund and it to be cancelled, said it was cancelled at that moment, but then I was charged annual fee for the person under me. I constantly would have to call and go up to the gym to talk to someone and I kept getting we will call you and email you, not once did I receive a call back or email. I FINALLY was able to get it in writing by Gus there (very nice) and I appreciate that but there needs to be a change in how they handle issues like mine because the fact that they do not get back to you at all is very unprofessional.

Its cleanliness is average, Ive seen the saunas cleaned nightly and bathroom cleaned routinely so Im resting it average. It doesnt appear spotless, in definite need of upgrades in comparison to others Ive visited.They are making changes and its obvious upgrades are in process.As for convenience and good customer service I give them 4stars.The kids care room is always staffed, cleaned and organized so thats another plus to me. My 4year old loves it.

Ive never had a gym membership before so I have no comparison but, so far, I dont have much complaints. I pay $40 a month which I think is pretty decent (?) since I can only compare it to my cousins $10 in Planet Fitness and my friends ridiculous $180 in Equinox. Ive been to both and I feel like they all look the same. I also get classes perks - the problem is if I will actually get in one of those.Distance wise, its the closest to me so it makes sense. I can literally walk there but since it gets dark early now, I have to drive. But its also not bad because they have validated parking for, I believe, 3 hours.Con, sort of:I brought my beau in one time to try their three-day trial membership but the sales rep tried to get him in so hard. Not even mentioning the trial membership as if its not an option anymore. Hes so stoic though and there was no way he can be persuaded into buying something so they failed. Me, on the other hand, obviously got tricked into getting in.I do feel like I got a good plan though. I just wish I come in more often so I can maximize what Im paying for. Obviously that ones on me.I like that I get good views since Im usually just on the treadmill anyways. I also like that they provide some cleaning stuff (napkins and spray) for the next user. Kinda wish the smells a bit better but hey, thats not on them.

Nice location, very diverse, the staff is great! Its kinda on the small side but well equipped . The janitors can do better with the cleaning, and as far as the crud I I see. I dont think they disinfect which is a little scary. Overall a good gym.

I have been a member here for over 2 years. Its on my way home and easy to get in and out of. The staff is pretty good.However, it has got to be the dirtiest Gym I have ever gone to, I have no other choice cause its so convenient. But seriously, the ladies room is always dirty, smells bad, feces on walls, throw up in sinks, weaves all over the floors, especially the showers, OH the showers are just disgusting! I wish I wasnt scared to get in the pool and jacuzzi! they look suspect AF! The steam room always packed. Machines are often down, and the weights are scattered. People hog the machines, just sit there, staring at their phones while other people wait to use the machines they are sitting in, while looking at their phones forever.I didnt realize how much I dislike it actually, Im trying to find some more positives... Theres a lady security gaurd who is super cool, and one of the older gentlemen who works there always recognizes me and fist bumps me, hes super cool and helpful.

Wonderful trainers! I never thought Id be able to do half this stuff! If youre overweight and out of shape protf will work with you to create a healthier you! All you need is to bring the courage and effort to start. Trust me, it will happen!

I went in to sign up myself and my family. Once I checked in, Lorena was my assigned sales rep. I was interested in four memberships, but her lack of professionalism was offputting. I went to LA fitness directly after and had a much better experience. I would not suggest giving this location business. l love my new gym and the employees at LA fitness.

The newer staff is pleasant. The older staff are jaded. Great view from higher floors. No one re-racks their weights! Lots of free and convenient parking. Cross cultural membership. Bathroom stalls are often cluttered. Security often smokes just outside the exit. Dont go at rush hours!

Has to be one of the worst 24s Ive even been to. Everytime I come in here its so poorly maintained. Management, please be on top of these things:1. Team members do not greet as people walk in or are very selective to whom they greet. They seem to chill and talk amongst themselves. Oh how can this be there is so much they could clean and organize.2. Cleanliness and organization. Its non existent here. Nuff said. Please encourage your team to proactively clean as they go or be aware of their surroundings. The GO class had to be one of the dirtiest Ive ever seen. For a slow day, you would think someone would spend some time cleaning it?3. Schedule appropriateness. I went to two classes, they were both over 10 minutes late. If there is no discipline among team members, why should there be any with instructors ? They were friendly, but very late, but finished the class on time. I feel cheated out of my classes, I always look forward to them. Please discipline your entire team to be on time.Other than that, its okay. Gets the job done. But as an overall gym, its below mediocre. There is no management here. For a gym thats not 24 hr, standards should not only be met, but should be higher. Management team, get it together !!! I believe in you to bring this gym to greatness.

Staff are cool but the location has seemingly got bad over the duration that Ive been there, which is going on 3 years. The equipment is not functioning, paper towel dispenser is broken. seems as though this specific 24 is not high on priority list which is wrong because every member pays a monthly fee, despite the demographic area i think this location needs to be fixed.1. Upgrade gym equipment ( weights, bars, etc)2. fix machines that are broken3. clean up rest rooms

This location used to be my favorite, until they started closing earlier. I work late and would normally stop on the way home. Thats before the earlier closing time. Ill definitely be switching over to Planet Fitness soon. ✌🏿

I’m Silver Sneaker, via my Insurance, and simply was in need of Sauna and Steam Room. On appointment day the “Mean Girl” at the front desk stared me down, turned away, and a few minutes later when someone entered the building she acknowledged them and assisted.😂😂😂😂There were these Senior Citizen women standing in a line chatting near the front desk, directly where business should be conducted. Hence, it was hard to tell where the line was, so I waited just a few seconds. The ladies began scattering in different directions. The guy comes over and ask, “whose next and then directs the question to me, “are you next.” Games, games, games people play😬. No time for it.Overall worst experience. Did a walk-through, subpar. With poor customer relations, silliness, and poor facility, not worth it. I might run in just to do 30-minutes early morning blasting on my thighs and glutes but that’s about it. And that’s only because the location is convenient from where I live. I would have given it -0 ⭐️(Rating) if left up to me.

24-Hour Fitness makes a person who is not in shape the whole purpose of going to the gym feel very uncomfortable the staff there are just as stuck up as the people thats there. They charge you more money then your original membership I pay for my monthly membership on the day it was due and about time my bill came around I had to pay double because of this annual fee and all which I was surprising so I dont really like 24 Hour Fitness I go because I like the classes I dont like the staff they are rude as hell.

Had a terrible experience! The FAIL their Service Commitment: Clean, Friendly and Well Maintained as their front desk rep Crystal was rude and unwelcoming; their sales manager Bray is unfriendly and unprofessional and their facility is always dirty and unkept. This 24hour fitness is by far the worst!! Always dirty, machines out of order, shower stalls full of hair, restrooms without paper, roaches in the studio room and no general manager to speak with. Their posted permits and licenses are outdated and the staff are always on their personal phones instead of engaging with their members. They seriously need some customer service training and a Public Health Department inspection.

24 hour fitness became 18 hour fitness and because of this I have to try to wedge this into an already busy schedule. The gym is almost always packed, making it very difficult to get a full workout in consistently. Im almost certain the money theyve saved on labor will not go towards more equipment.

Why did it have to be in my neighborhood, in a black community, did this have to be the worst 24 hour fitness Ive been to? People leave their weights everywhere, and then some other person who is near the weights, gets belittled by staff that they arent putting the weights back. Almost everyone gets blamed. Then the people who use this gym are rude too. Theres only one assisted bench press and everyone wants to use it. If there is only one and you know there are people waiting, no one is trying to rush you, but if you are doing a tour set of different machines, and no one else can use them til youre done, then its obvious youre going to have people standing around waiting for you. Dont be mad at that. Its your fault youre hogging all the machines and not sharing.It just had to be in a black community, and some, not all, are the worst in the gym. Down right selfish people. I dont want to come here at all, but its 3 blocks away. Dangit!

The classes are always fun, but I wish the cleanliness was better maintained. ALOT of people pay for their memberships for the restrooms to look like a rest stop bathroom. Other than that, the staff members are very friendly.

I been a member for a lil over 3 months and i got inside the pool once, super excited to go for a swim, but the water had to much chlorine and irritated my skin. Also I got charged a 50$ annual maintenance fee and I only been a member for 3 months, but there is always broken machines. Last but not least the studio on the third floor needs to be swept at least once a day. Dust and hair flies out when we put out mats down. The only positive thing I got to say about this club is the athletics Class on Wednesday nights, the instructor is Amazing and if it wasnt for her and how good that class is I would had cancelled my membership long ago.

I love this location since it’s convenient, but they give a lack-luster performance in the upkeep. In the weight training area there is floorboard coming apart from the wall, since at least 2 years ago. I’ve requested a submission of repair...hmmm And it’s always a weak response!When equipment breaks down, they take forever to repair! The Locker room is clean 60 percent of the time... and finally, I’ts a bummer that they changed the hours from 24 Hours to selected hours, it’s less convenient now. In my opinion, ever since a Magic Johnson sold this location, they’ve gone downhill!FYI: I’ve been a loyal member since 2011.

WARNING - You will ultimately regret being part of this gym. Their policies on cancellations are absolutely rediculous. A very clear deliberate grab for money they refused to refund my annual fee only a week after I had to cancel my membership because I was moving away. Its not so much about the money its the fact that literally no one I spoke to was understanding enough to try and work something out. It makes no sense paying an annual fee for the upcoming year if I wont be using the gym during that period because my membership is cancelled. Extremely disappointed and I will make sure all my friends and family dont use a wellness brand that doesnt actually care about people. Ive been a patron of this gym for years and this was the experience I got.

I don’t get all the negative reviews. Most of the time the employees say hello and goodbye to me and even if they didn’t, so what? It could be a little cleaner, but it’s not enough to make me go somewhere else or avoid the locker room/bathrooms. Im glad I signed up for this one, the dude even remembers me.

Great place. Place is pricey. If youre not going everyday, youre not getting your moneys worth. If youre going 2 to 3 days a week planet fitness is for you. If youre going once a week, go to your local park.

July 2017 will be ten of membership at this 24 fitness. I have met nicest people to workout here, However utterly disappointed by the management of this gym.List goes on unclean bathrooms with no toilet paper and no soap in the showers, filthy steam and sauna. Broken equipment and sometimes weeks past and their is none fixing it.Today arrived at 7am and there were people waiting since 6am and none there to open the gym till 7.30am .while more than 30 people waiting.None wants to be accountable when the question is asked.If this scenario played out beach cities or Hollywood or other placesSomeone take some action.Just because its on slauson none cares.If the 24 fitness upper management read and care for their customers.Most like Id be canceling and moving to LA fitness.

OK, so this gym isnt as horrible as everyone makes it appear. They have a good parking policy-- 5 hours free of weekdays, and completely free on weekends. Most of my issues start when I enter the building, customer service isnt friendly at all-- but the people there are very friendly. Though the locker room was big and spacious, I would advise wearing slippers as the floor is dirty. Also the spa area is kind of dirty too, but I dont mind getting a spray bottle and cleaning the steamroom myself-- I pay to use it. So overall its not perfect but you can make it work for you.

I like it here. It is crowded but i never have to wait for the equipment. The staff members are friendly and so are the people that come to workout. I always enjoy my workout here and have gotten extreme results since Ive been here. Thanks #24hourfitness.

HORRIBLE. Staff TOTALLY disrespectful and prejudiced. Like being in prison. Staff girl at front desk made checking in feel like being an inmate admitted to jail. Security guards patrolling every floor made me wonder if theft and fights are regular occurrences. Would not allow my fiance to work out because he was wearing flip flops but allowed other patrons to work out wearing them. Hes an eleven year member of the chain and never experienced this. The equipment and facilities are really dirty. I bring my own wipes for the machines. Its super crowded like ALL OF THE TIME... the worst part is that the equipment is usually broken. Save your money.

Love this gym when they were open 24 hrs now has become 18 hrs gym so they should change the name of the gym as well.

1st time I was there to enroll that gym and no one to help me front desk lady said I had to see the manager only one can help me. It was like 8:00am so she said in 30min he will be here okay so I went to the bathroom it was bad dirty the crew members were not helpful I was just sitting and no one bother to ask if they can help me so 30min went by I asked front desk lady wats up she said he might be here like in a few maybe @10:00 I said dont they have a time to be here..?She said no..Manager does not care so employees dont care either...so I didnt go there I am now at la fitness @ culver city so happy thanks..😎

This 34 hour fitness is the nastiest one I have ever been to. I found razors on the shower floor and on the sink. Paper towels all around the complex on the floor and hair floating in the jacuzzi. And when your ask someone to clean it up they disregard you. I mento lb the razor on the ground and two hours later it was still there and so were the paper towels. I only go here because it is Convenient and cheap. I mainly use Planet Fitness, which I think is taking away 24 hour customers. I see why Magic Johnson sold his interest.

This is thee best gym out there. The gym is always clean, customer service is always giving warm welcomes and they have a better organized selection of equipment then the other gyms. This location is alot better than some of the other locations. Love it!!!!!!

This is by far the worse 24 hour fitness Ive ever been to and as a premier club member Ive been to quite a few. The machines are limited, screws exposed and cramped together not to mention finding weights in the bathroom. Not sure if its because the location its in that allows corporate to get away with the type of service but more attention is desperately needed to this facility.

Older gym but decent. Parking available. Dont forget to bring a lock or 50cents because there are no courtesy lockers.

Conveniently located plenty of parking staff is friendly for the price its great! Only wish they had cold water, the drinking fountains have not work for 2 years. Maybe you have to buy the water if you want a cold? LOL

Free parking is the only plus of this location...Oh and its open 24 hours but Im not positive thats a good thing.The machines are plentiful but the amount of traffic will often have ppl fighting for resources. The elliptical were free, treadmills were packed and they did have a good amount of stair masters available.The weight room was a MADHOUSE. Too many men hogging all the heavier weight equipment that I had to settle for the crunch machine (which was really amazing).This place does have a basketball court for anyone looking to play late at night BUT of course its overpopulated by men and the water fountain adjacent to the court was completely out of order.This place is beefed up with size and hours of operation but really lacks the substance I am looking for in a gym.

First off let me say ive had a membership with 24 hour fitness for over 4 years... ive been to many locations. This used to be my favorite location till the end of 2017 to now.. the employees there especially the short stubby one with the poof poof pom pom poneytail man shes rude and unprofessional! The security guard is a jerk at night.. and oh yeah they arent open 24 hrs anymore... i now go to the torrance location because of this.. it sucks that im inconvienaced just because of the security guard being a jerk, the front desk receptionist being unprofessional, the saunas and pool area are gross, and the fact they close at 12am... they need to either hire a new employees or re hire people who used to work there. Totally disappointed! Ive never had problems there until now!

Something is always broke. Elliptical, treadmill, tv. The only reasons why I continue to go is for Tajs kickboxing class, the proximity to my house and the awesome view.

FIRST OF ALL, Not even a 24 Hour fitness!!!Bathrooms changing rooms and the showers are always dirty!! Staff members are pushy af to pay up and they’ll say it’s last day promotion blah blah blah for a personal training. DONT FALL FOR IT! I did!! And paid and then 2 days later they stole from my debit card since they’ve my card information and try to say it was an annual fee when I only been at the gym for a month. Could always use more machines, but the variety thats there is nice. Pool, hoops, weight machines, free weights, and plenty of cardio equipment.

This is easily one of the best value 24 hour fitnesses I have worked out at. Unlike the other gyms in LA, this one is not super sport, but it has a pool and free parking. There is a really nice view of LAX from the top two floors to gaze out at as you do your cardio.

The place is pretty crowded during the weekday but virtually empty on the weekends. I find it funny that the place is named 24 hours fitness and the place is not open 24 hours. The bathroom is disgusting and I only use it when I really need to go. Out side of that, normally there tends to be plenty of cardio machine available for anyone that wants to use it. There is a full size basketball court, swimming pool and a sauna.

Very very bad customer service they lost a customer in me unprofessional unreasonable ill mannered no can do attitude nonchalant, clearly put the customer last. We walked in at 9:05pm let the lady know that we had a guest, the asked for an ID and said to fill out these 4 sections then she walked away. As Im getting my Id out an start to fill out the sections, she then very nonchalantly says oh no guess after 9pm we asked if theres anything you could do and she said was out of her control with no care no distain no emotion she just walked away and then we left, there was no manager available to discuss the matter and the employee didnt care at all. Very disappointed and disgusting with the attitude and lack of respect the employee. This particular employee did not represent the company well at all in her appearance and attitude shes clearly not into fitness but in to fatness needs to be removed immediately. My worst 24 Fitness experience, I do not recommend this location, but it is an functioning gym.Pros: they do have the standard 24fitness equipments from weights, basketball court, pool toyoga/weighted balls, trx machine. They also have very convienent and ample free parking and friendly receptionists.Cons: First no! Their women’s locker and toilets are dirty and perhaps it’s the layout but the toilet area are flooded from the showers. Second this was the first time I’m introducing my friend to working out and she gets a guest pass. In order to get the pass, you fill out a standard questionaire. However the sales manager was extremely pushy about his sale and getting my friend to pay upfront. It was upsetting because my friend felt uncomfortable as her first experience with working out at a gym. Lastly the layout of the gym is quite cramped with squat racks and deadlift bars in a little corner of this building.Terrible experience, embarrassed about my suggestion of coming to this location. I’ve seen cleaner, friendlier, more spacious 24 fitness and gym. I will not be coming back again.

Local so its convenient. Parking is adequate. Dont like that the sauna n steam room has to shut down at 11pm and it smells somtimes but its a gym so its sumwhat expected...dont workout so i cant speak on equipment.

Most of the people that work there are nice and friendly, but the manager is not. The first time he was attentive to my concerns. One of them is the lack of 10 pound weights and other lighter weights on the second floor. He said the 10 pound weights are stolen all the time and that he ordered more, but I have not seen any and this has been a very long time ago! Another issue was about the dirty a/c filter on the third floor. I know that with a dirty, clogged filter there not be cool enough air blowing out up there where the cardio machines are, plus its unhealthy. He also said that it will be taken care of, but thats also been a very long time ago. When I politely mentioned my concerns to him about a week ago, he was very rude. Smh

I love the location, what an awesome view of the South Bay from the various floor to ceiling windows. The equipment is always working and the staff are friendly.

People have an attitude at this 24 Hour Fitness. I mean the members and staff. Disrespect for others is the norm there. Also, the equipment is old and run-down and many pieces are often broken and tagged. Its a smelly nasty dump too and the bathrooms are disgusting. Furthermore, There are no shower doors & people check you out while youre taking a shower.

All I have to say is this 24 hr fitness not being 24 hrs anymore is kinda stupid considering the name on the side of the damn building but I use to go here after work at night since those grave hours were perfect for me but not that they close at 11pm-midnight I have to drive twice as far to get a work out in this place is trash to me now!

I have been to almost all of the 24 hour fitness facilities in the LA area (As well as some in Dallas and NYC) This is by far the worst facility I have ever been too. The entire gym smells like mildew and body odor. The machines are in disarray and weights are everywhere. (Worse than other 24 hour fitness locations, if that is possible) The staff seems miserable and the clientele is not much better. The floor and locker rooms are over crowded with people socializing, not working out. This was in the middle of the day so I can only imagine the disaster it is a prime time. I recommend avoiding this gym, there are plenty of other gyms in the area that are worth the extra gas and travel time.

Parking sucks, so just park in the neighborhoods and walk across the street. Other than that great location with friendly people.

Could be better with cleaning and keeping the gym full operational condition.

Very old machines with zero maintenance!
