This place is amazing. I just moved to Los Angeles and was looking for a corrective got truly fortunate as they were the primary spot I found and they were really amazing. I got 20 facades and I been here twice for cleaning and once for what I thought was a cavity. It went out to simply be a filling that should have been shaved down a little and they didnt charge me for the help.

I made and appointment online and they called me in the same day. I wanted to make sure that my request was 100% understood, when I say “I’m interested to do a wisdom teeth treatment IF they work with my insurance.” Somebody on the phone promptly said “yes, definitely”.Appointment day: I got there and it seems that they not even know I was scheduled for that time. Nobody knew what was going on. I did some X-ray and was asked to wait for them to bring the summary of how much the treatment would be.It took more than 15 minutes when I had to go to the front desk to see what was going on.Long story short, they don’t work with any insurance and they were calculating how much I would pay out of pocket and it was more than 8K.I am not upset with the fact they don’t work with insurance, or with the price. I am really upset that they tried to fool me. I loved the first doctor that helped me (Fabian, I guess) and the decision of doing the treatment with an office out-of-network should be MINE.They charged me a visit fee and tried to convince me they were doing a good price for me.I just called and canceled the appointments. Again, the client should have the right to choose what they would like to do. If the office was honest and transparent about the insurance coverage situation they would have told me over the phone and I wouldn’t waste their time and SPECIALLY MINE.

I had a very poor experience at Zakhor Dental Group and would definitely not recommend them. They charged me thousands of dollars for a service I told them several times I did not want (and did not receive). Dr. Zakhor personally assured me on multiple occasions that they would refund the money, but never did.I had hoped to work this out amicably, but was never able to. This entire situation would have been very easy to remedy on their part, but sadly was not. Based on my experience, I would recommend avoiding Zakhor Dental Group at all costs.

I was hoping it would be a good experience considering all the five star reviews but unfortunately, that wasnt my experience.I came in on a Saturday for an emergency visit and they did get back to me quick, Ill say that I appreciated that. The charge for coming in on emergency on the weekend is an extra $400. I was in pain so I said ok. A couple hours later, I realized that was a lot of money and wasnt comfortable. They said that it isnt refundable. I came in and the Dr was very kind and gentle. I kept on mentioning that I was concerned that my dental insurance would max out. My insurance cap ranges from 1500-2000. They said dont worry, it wont. They said the procedure for gum removal was very non invasive and it solves a lot of the problem. The Dr, kept on nudging to go forward on multiple items but never mentioned the price and I was the one to ask each time. Each time, the dr went over the amount in a very blase way. Am I getting gaslighted over here, cause its a lot of money. The total procedure was about 1800, without the cleaning and extras. I had a similar problem on the other side of my mouth and the doc said it would be double with a straight face. I only went with one side because I was worried my insurance would max out.I did not get any alternatives from the Dr in regards to alternative procedures. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication up front with the costs and the lack of compassion for the amount of money.I came in for a follow up procedure to finish up the cleaning (gum infection and gum on impacted teeth originally). The doc recommended a deep gum cleaning. I didnt feel comfortable because I still didnt know what my insurance was covering so I mentioned that I wanted to see my general dentist and think about it. The receptionist looked irritated and offered me $50 bucks off. Originally $250. So I said ok and paid $200.I find out about a month later that my insurance is maxed out for the year from this procedure. So I can not get any check ups or maintenance or cleanings, this early in the year around March. In my bill, I saw that the dental office billed my insurance for the full $250 for the cleaning but charged me $200. This is not professional to charge me a lower amount and bill my insurance more. Ultimately, the work that the dental office did on the gum surgery didnt get resolved because with the surgery, more food gets stuck in there and I need to water floss every day now. I know its hard to find a good dental office and it is so frustrating that people come in with pain and vulnerabilities and sometimes dental offices treat people, this one, like money bags. I didnt realize that this was a car dealership.(BTW When I went to my general dentist they were so surprised that the cost was $1800)

AVOID THIS DENTIST!!!Extremely unprofessional, overcharges his clients for services, and refuses to refund my money of $9000 I had put down for services that have not been completed or started.I am not the only customer here that has had this exact same issue. I am a professional adult, I am a Registered Nurse that came in for a travel assignment and decided to go through this dentist because of his before and after gallery.It seems he does good work, but I would certainly NOT recommend him - he does not care about his customers and he will overcharge you for services, pressure you into paying for them upfront, and then not give your money back should you decide that you do not want his services.I am not the only client he has done this to. Check with BBB, he is not accredited, and already has SEVERAL other clients with the same issue.Though it seems he does a good job, and he is starting to have a following on social media, it is not worth the headache of working with him.Upon coming into his office, he went over the consultation and stated the consultation price was $350 and that whatever that cost was, would be used towards my treatment. This was a lie.Additionally, upon my first visit, the treatment plan was reviewed. He was wanting to do porcelain veneers for 15k, and stated he cannot do anything further with my teeth unless I paid upfront 8k. He had several workers come into the office trying to convince me of how the services were really needed and how I need to put my money into my teeth.After going back and forth and telling him that 15k was way too much, he brought it down to 11k.I expressed that this money was my savings and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to complete the services. Finally, after going back and forth several times, another staff member came in to convince me again, and stated I had to put money down today or they cannot do anything. So I made the payment.At this point, I had only had a deep cleaning.The next week, I came in to complete the wax up for impressions and the whitening. After completing the wax up, he stated I needed to make another payment of at least $1000. So I made another payment of $1000.This totals to me paying $9000 upfront. The week following, I did not feel right about it. I decided I did not want the services and that I wanted my money back. After he tried to convince me to continue the services, and after not backing down, he told me he would refund me, but that I needed to come into the office so he could provide me the refund.I live in Riverside, so it is an hour and a half commute to the dental office. I come into the office, only to be told that I cannot have my refund because the dentist is not in the office and he had an emergency, and he needed to leave. His emergency was that his brother had a baby. At this point, I’m livid. He did not communicate that fact and had specifically made me that appointment for the refund. He tells me that because I did the wax up for the whitening already, that I need to pay for the whitening and I might as well get the gel trays that they ordered in. So, the worker goes over that with me.The next week, he states he is only willing to refund me 5,146.00. This means - he would be charging me a total of about $4,000 for a deep cleaning and whitening.I asked him for the invoice - which shows all of these fraudulent charges of services that were not even provided. At this point, I don’t even want to deal with him anymore. I’m okay with that refund. He STILL does not provide it.So I come into his office because if I’m being charged $1000 for a whitening treatment, I might as well get the complete service I paid for. Upon checking out, he pulls another invoice now where the refund amount is only $4195.00. Um. What?!That’s not what was agreed. Then he discusses this $795.00 “financial fee” that is complete bogus because I never financed anything! This was all run through my DEBIT card, shows proof of that on my bank account.Still have not received my refund. Now I’m having to go through this legally.

I had my invisalign treatment done by this office followed by 8 porcelain veneers on my top row. I had a deep bite and my teeth were caving in .Dr. Zakhor is very detail oriented and went above and beyond to answer all my questions before we started and during treatment.My smile became much more broader than we had originally started. The veneers created a brighter look which changed my whole face. The best part was my breathing got a lot better and I slept better at night and didnt grind my teeth anymore.I really cant thank him enough. Awful financial practices. Agreed to a payment plan of $3000 on the day of consultation, then over $5000 more over the course of 8 months of treatment. One week later charged the full amount (over FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS) without authorization. I called in and advised I was cancelling all further services based on this egregious mistake and wanted an immediate refund. Was advised they would refund the huge unauthorized charge, but that I was locked into Invisalign with them and had to pay via a payment plan. I told him I wanted to see documentation of any charges incurred on my behalf and I would pay them but all further service was cancelled. Documentation was never provided, and two weeks later theyre saying theyre not refunding the huge unauthorized charge and I need to pick up my trays. A total nightmare, entirely unethical financial practices. Ive disputed the charge with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the better business bureau. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Where do I begin?Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. I went in as an emergency patient on a Friday night. I had a terrible tooth ache on a front tooth that had a crown front a few years back. The tooth never felt right and of course, it became unbearable on a Friday night when no where was open.I saw Dr. Zakhor the same night. He was extremely nice, compassionate, caring and most importantly competent. He took x-rays and was able to tell me what I need within minutes. He was working alone and I was shocked at how great he was considering he did not have an assistant.We ended up doing a root canal that same night, and removed the old crown. He suggested that we do a smile design on my subsequent appointment so he can show me how we can improve my smile.Fast forward 1 week later, he showed me how my smile could transform if I did 3 more veneers on my front teeth. He was really thorough and explained all my options. I ended up doing 3 porcelain veneers and a porcelain crown and I could not believe how my entire face changed. My smile is so amazing that I cant stop smiling.I cant thank Dr. Zakhor enough for being so awesome. There are the before and after photos of my teeth. I cant express what a life changing experience this has been. I was always very subconscious about my teeth. I barely smiled and if I did, I would try to cover my teeth as I did not want anyone to take notice of the mismatched front teeth. I also did not like the amount of gums that showed when I smiled.When I came to see Dr. Zakhor, he completely changed my life. For some reason, I was no longer scared of the dentist. His relaxed and hip practice makes you forget that youre at a dental office. The staff are all super nice and helpful. The lab they work with is in the building which makes the experience seamless and convenient. The custom shade selection is also very important when youre getting veneers. The technician is in the building and they can match any color very fast in the lab. All and all, if you are particular like me and want the best when it comes to anything, you must go to this practice. They are the best at what they do and the best dentist in Los Angeles, IMO. highly recommended!!

I visited Zakhor Dental Group a few days ago, and my visit was absolutely life changing. After a long journey with orthodontics and surgery, I recently removed my braces to find that my bite was wayyyy off. I could not chew, I could not sleep, and I was miserably depressed. I visited ~5 different dentists and orthodontists in the LA area, and I felt like everyone saw dollar signs in me while I was listing off my symptoms. One dentist even recommended a $10k treatment plan to get me out of pain. Having already spent tens of thousands of dollars, I felt incredibly hopeless. Luckily, I visited Doctor Zakhours office before I committed to anything.As soon as I entered the office, I felt comforted by the cleanliness and warmth of the staff. The doctor did a detailed 3-D model of my teeth, and he immediately recognized the issue. All I needed was a simple bite adjustment!! After 5 minutes of working on my teeth, my TMJ and muscle spasms completely disappeared. It was magical. I dont even remember what it felt like to be in so much pain.I also opted to do a deep clean of my teeth, and the hygienist was amazing!!!! I hadnt had a cleaning in around 3 years, so I was a bit nervous, but she was super gentle and efficient.Personally, I never write reviews of businesses, but my experience at this office was so out of this world, I knew I had to. They were able to get me that night and fix the crown. I am so thankful they see people 24/7 for emergencies. The dentist and staff were friendly and professional. Horrible money hungry office. A complete scam, beware! They solicited “free” services through my employer, which were anything but free. Then billed my insurance for additional dates that I never even entered their office nor had any work done, and when my insurance issued an overpayment letter..radio silence! They did not return the payment. On top of that Dr.Zahkor left a very unprofessional message on my voicemail. Our office has agreed never to have them back on our premises. Avoid like the plague unless you want to be overcharged!

Amazing experience! The best dentist Ive ever been to. Dr. Zakhor was professional, gentle, kind and funny. I had an issue with a porcelain veneer that needed to be reattached and I have high sensitivity. The whole procedure took less than 20 minutes with no discomfort. He then charged me a very reasonable rate because I didnt have dental insurance. Additionally, the receptionist was great because she scheduled my emergency visit immediately. It was the best experience that I have ever had at the dentist. Ill be calling them in a couple of months for my cleaning and Ill be taking my family with me.

With their prices being much less than the Beverly Hills Cosmetic Dentists, they do an amazing job. interesting enough, they use the same dental laboratory as most of the celebrity dentist in Beverly Hills, but whats amazing about them is that the lab (Swiss Quality Lab) is in their building. This means each patient can meet the technician for custom shading and discuss their smile makeover with the dentist and the technician. If you are looking for veneers that will look natural and last a life time, this is the place to do to regardless if youre in Los Angeles or will travel to see the dentist. Hi,last week I woke up with a throbbing pain in the lower back part of my mouth. I google searched for a emergency doctor because my actual dentist didnt have emergency services. I came across Dr. Z on google. It was very early (sorry) the doctor was very polite and accommodating. We met an hour later at his beautiful office in westwood. I was in and out within an hour and a half. I cant recommend this place enough!!! The doctor is very knowledgeable in all areas. He quickly found the issue and had me out of pain!

Dr Zakhor and his team give A+++ service! I hadnt been to a dentist for about a year after moving to Los Angeles and I was overdue for a check up. Im on a tight schedule with school and work and they were able to get me in the same week which I really appreciated! My exam with the dr was thorough and he answered all my questions and really went over my x-rays with me. I also appreciated that they explained all the procedures and went over my insurance benefits and what they were estimated to cover for me. My cleaning with the hygienist was amazing and I scheduled to come back the next week to complete some small fillings and have my wisdom teeth taken out. All in all, the service was fabulous and I didnt experience any pain or discomfort.

I started going to Dr. Zakhor last year for a cleaning and check up. The staff was great and very attentive but what impressed me the most was the care and skill of the dental team here. Ive had a filling since childhood thats been replaced several (FIVE) times because no matter which dentist I visited, Id end up with a food trap between the filled teeth. Of course this was uncomfortable and even more painful when flossing and trying to dislodge whatever got stuck in there. I went to Dr. Zakhors office and they replaced the filling and in the process corrected the food trap issue. I can floss without pain and not worry about getting food lodged in my back teeth. Highly recommend this dentistry.

I followed Dr. Zakhor from her downtown practice to Zakhor Dental Group - LA Veneers because its hard to find a great dentist that you and your family can trust. Her attention to detail is impeccable, integrity is unquestionable and delightful persona makes the semi-annual trip to the dentist chair pleasant rather than daunting. I have a serious fear of the dentist and it took serious pain for me to see the dentist, I had so much pain I could not sleep. Luckily I was able to see a doctor late in the evening. When no one would even answer the phone I got to speak with a live practitioner that connected me with the doctor. I saw him the same night. He made me comfortable and attend to my every concern, fixed my tooth and had me comfortably sleeping when I went home.I am happy to say that I no longer fear the dentist thanks to Dr. M and Zakhor dental.

I knew this was the place to go for veneers before I had my first consult, but I cant even describe how ecstatic I am with my new smile! Unfortunately I never took seriously the importance of taking care of my teeth and by the time I was in my 30s it started to show. As a young professional I was always hiding my smile because I was so embarrassed. Dr Zakhor went above and beyond and knocked it out of the park with my veneers. Im way more confident and now more than ever Im always taking care of my oral hygiene. I am so very thankful for Dr. Zakhor and his very kind staff. New to Los Angeles, I was in an extreme amount of pain and needed two emergency root canals due to trauma I had two years prior. He took the best care of me and my smile. I saw the x-rays of my completed procedure and they were both perfectly done. As someone who has had her fair share of dental trips throughout her life, I would highly recommend Dr. Zakhor. Salina was an angel and the whole team treated me with the highest respect.

I love coming to this office! I had always been a little scared when it comes to the dentist because I unfortunately suffered some severe trauma when I was younger due to an accident. After my first visit at Zakhor Dental, I was shocked at how comfortable and at ease I was with the Dr and his staff. They always informed me of what was happening step by step, they pointed out in my x-rays and showed me what the issue was and they didnt start any work before going over my full treatment plan with me. If anyone ever had to step out of the room or the Dr needed to step out for a minute or so, someone was always coming by to check on me which was very comforting for me as a nervous nelly. As someone who has had a lot of previous dental work done, its awesome to know they have their lab in the same building and if needed, they are easily available to fix any issues until the work is done right. Aside from the normal cleaning, I had two crowns that needed to be redone. They look so beautiful and the lab did a fantastic job! The custom shade they did looks so natural and flawless. This office is always willing to go above and beyond and I cant recommend them enough.

I found them on Yelp and theyre so good I had to leave a review both here and on yelp. Dr. Zakhor saw me on a Sunday 2 hours after my initial phone call. I was so surprised to see him come to work on a Sunday. He looks very young which was a little scary at first, but soon as he started the exam, I became very comfortable with him and as weird as it sounds, Im happy I had a tooth ache on a Sunday was found him. Because after my wisdom tooth extraction on that Sunday, he became my new permanent dentist.

I was looking for a dentist to redo all my crowns. They did more than that. I had a smile makeover that truly makes me feel and look 20 years younger. The shapes and color of them are perfect and look very natural. The process was super easy and seemless and in just 2 appointments, I was able to get the exact results I was looking for with combination of veneers and crowns.

Boy am I grateful I found Zakhor Dental! I was misdiagnosed by a previous Dr before seeing Dr. Zakhor. Let me tell you, Dr. Zakhor is experienced when it comes to really getting to the root of the problem. I had been suffering severe tooth pain for about two weeks and nothing was treating it. A previous Dr said it may be a root canal, but I just felt something else was up. I found Dr. Zakhor online as he is also an after hours emergency dentist. To my surprise he answered the phone himself after hours! He got me in the very next morning and sure enough I had a huge infection and within a week he set me up to see a specialist at his office. Turns out my tooth was fractured and it needed to come out and have the infection cleared up. Fast forward a few weeks, the tooth is gone and im back to normal and feeling great again. I will definitely be returning to see Dr. Zakhor for a dental implant for my missing tooth and some other cosmetic dental work Ive been thinking about for a while now. He has more than earned my trust!

We referred a patient who had got in an accident to this practice. She was seen within 2 hours after the accident on a Sunday Night. They treated our patient with much care and delivered a new smile which helped restore our clients confidence and dignity back. Dr. Zakhor has an eye for details and pays close attention to the final aesthetics and functionality of his final work. His veneers and dental implant surgery is just some of the procedures that he offers with sueprior results each and very time.

It has now been over two years since my complete oral reconstruction and transformation. I have never been so confident in my smile and appearance. Now I only come here and see the wonderful staff for routine checkups and cleanings, wish I lived closer so that I could get cleanings more often. Things only seem to get better at this place, its always spotless and staff beyond helpful and friendly. Dr. Zakhor Saved my tooth in the back. Without him doing that the tooth would have been pulled & I wouldn’t be able to eat properly. Thank god for him. I was in pain for months but he fixed that.

I was visiting Los Angeles for vacation. My front veneer cracked as I was eating dinner and the only person to answer was Dr. Zakhor. He is very friendly and welcoming. He answered the phone right away and got me in within an hour. I ended up needing a new veneer. Dr. Zakhor used the lab in the building (Swiss Lab) and the technician came in to make sure we get the best color match. He also had it rushed for me since I was on vacation. I also had my bottom teeth whitened using laser teeth whitening to match the top veneers.I havent seen too many dentists in LA but I am pretty confident he is probably one of the best LA dentists there is out there.

I moved to Los Angeles from San Diego about 6 months ago and had to find a new dentist to go see. So I looked up Dentist LA and Zakhor Dental popped up. I took a chance and went in for a consult. From the beginning, it felt right. The doctors and the staff were super friendly. One unique service they offer which I hadnt seen before is their 24 hour emergency dental services. I have not had an emergency personally myself, but one night I referred a friend who needed a root canal and he was lucky to be seen by Dr. Zakhor the same night.I highly recommend this dental practice!

Truly the most relaxing and easiest dental visit ever. I went in for a whitening and cleaning and thats exactly what I got. I normally see a dentist every 6 months and Ive had a few dentists who tried to tackle on thousands of dollars of work for cosmetic procedures, deep cleanings and other dental treatments when Ive never till today needed a cavity. This place has honest doctors, really friendly staff and an amazing dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth and really took his time and the whitening really really worked!. two thumbs up to this fine dentist and dental practice.

Both Dr Johnny and Dr Nicholas take the time to really look at an issue youre having. I didnt feel like I was being rushed out even though I was an hour late because of a work meeting. I cannot say enough good things about their professionalism and thoroughness.

I called in for an emergency as I had broke my front tooth. I had previously done porcelain veneers and the doctor didnt do the best job. They looked bulky and had open cracks in the back. I had them done 2 years ago and I was told they will last at least 7 years. Well, that was not completely true. But after breaking one of them in half eating scrambled eggs, I decided to have them redone. This place made a wax-up of what the veneers will look like and they did a temp set of veneers before anything was send to lab. I couldnt ask for a prettier smile and I was sure they are the ones who will do the right job before they even started. 2 weeks and 8 new porcelain veneers later, I could smile again the way I wanted to . BEST DENTIST in LOS ANGELES!

Dr. Zakhor is the best dentist LA has to offer!! He is very knowledgable, and you can see his passion in the work he performs.

I am so glad I came to see Dr. Zakhor. I was in need of dental work and I kept putting it off. He and his team walked me through the entire process. The office worked with me to get everything done. I had a root canal done with the Endodontist who was very proficient. What friendly and professional staff. The front desk was so wonderful that it didnt feel like I was at the dentist. Michaela and Natasha were an absolute delight. Time passed by quickly. My teeth feel and look great. I always had it in the back of my mind and now Im free of it. Thank you, Dr. Zakhor and team. I was seen 2 hours after my initial call and they did the most painless root canal for me. Im really happy I found this place. Its really clean, high tech and super friendly.

We called them at 3:00 am for an emergency, and they got back to us in a matter of minutes and set up an appointment to handle the problem. Thats proper care and service and were happy to have them available in our area.
