By far the best and most technical dentist I’ve been too. Added to that he is this amazing person. I had excruciating pain from a fractured tooth and this was labor’s day. Dr. Baseri went above and beyond to treat me. I feel 100% with no pain and even more thankful to know there are professionals with so much kindness for others like Dr. Baseri out there!! Not only was Dr. Baseri the only professional willing to see my husband, who was with excruciating pain, on Labor’s Day, but also he did it immediately and thoroughly. My husband had a fractured tooth and was in strong, multiple pain killers and antibiotics and nothing had worked. He tried for days calling “so called” emergency dentists and all of them told him to go to ER, which he did and still had no comfort. Only on Monday, after calling so many places he reaches out to Dr. Baseri who told him to immediately go to his office, where he so kindly and effectively took care of everything. Dr. Baseri is amazing. I broke my tooth a few weeks back on a Saturday. Most dentists are closed on weekends. I searched for a dentist that would be open on weekends and Dr. Baseri’s office was the one I found. I called and got a return call in 30 mins. Within an hour, I had an appointment, on a Sunday. Dr. Baseri walked me through the entire process of getting a temporary crown to getting my permanent crown. I had a real fear of dentists but this guy made what could have been a traumatic into a pleasurable one. No pain what so ever. Everyone in his office are awesome people. Very nice to be around. I promise you that you are in good hands with Dr. Baseri. Stop reading now and make that call to his office. You won’t regret it!

Had a great experience with Dr. Baseri, (well, great as a dental emergency can be). After cracking my tooth, I did a little research and chose Dr. Baseris office. I was quite impressed by the professionalism and skill of the dentist and his staff. After determining they could save the tooth, (which was up for debate- it was a bad crack), they first filled it so I could use the tooth for a short while. On the subsequent visits, it was confirmed that not only could the tooth be saved, but no root canal was needed... The deep cleaning, while not pleasant, did have a great effect- I havent had any bleeding gums while brushing my teeth since. Also, I do pleasantly remember how, when in the middle of the tooth shaving, and I felt pain, Dr. Baseri gave additional anesthetic which did nullify the pain.I am just home from my final visit, with a complete crown- which looks identical to my other teeth.I strongly recommend Dr. Baseri and Smile Recreation for your dental needs.

I needed an emergency dentist and they treated me very well. I got fast service with very great customer service . I am very pleased !

The bonding (cap) that Dr. Besari did to my front tooth fell off in six weeks. He replaced for free, and it broke again, this time 12 months later. He wouldn’t fix it for free this time, I assumed because it had a very short warranty (most bondings last 6 years or more).But his secretary told me that it was because my teeth were crowded, so it wouldn’t last. I told her that no dentist had EVER told me my teeth were crowded, INCLUDING Dr. Besari. So either they are lying to me now, or they failed to tell me this critical information when they took my money the first time.I’ve emailed and called repeatedly for months now, asking for a refund of the initial bonding. They have, at this point, entirely ignored my inquiries. The very least I can do is assure that anyone who looks them up knows this.

Just absolutely amazing! I do not often write reviews unless my experience and comfort level was simply through the roof positive and that is precisely what it was at Dr. Bernard Baseris office. I am between cities (Kansas City and Los Angeles, as my family relocated here to find a top tier doctor for my moms health challenge). My home dentist is in Kansas City so I was just praying that I didnt have any major dental issues while here in LA. Well sure enough, I found myself having a major toothache (near tears) and after reading reviews for Dr. Baseri, I called his office (on a Sunday) and he actually answered! He was loving and provided such a listening ear. I have trust issues with dentists from terrible experiences in the past, and just prayed that I wouldnt be taken advantage of. Dr. Baseri DID NOT disappoint. He got me in to see him the next day, did a thorough exam of my problem area and WAS NOT trigger happy. He told me that he suspected a few things but prescribed a quick treatment and wanted to see me back in a week. Thank the Lord, Dr. Baseri took his time and cared for me like I have been his patient for years. I am all set now and the pain is gone and thank the Lord I didnt need a root canal. I am so thrilled to schedule follow-up appointments with him, not only for me, but my entire family who has relocated out here to support my mom. Dr. Baseri is not only skilled, but trustworthy, and compassionate....an absolute triple threat! About to also head over to Yelp to go share how Dr. Baseri is absolutely a gift of a doctor. Dr Baseri is truly the best. I have had him as my dentist for the past 4 years and have always been so impressed with him and everyone who works in his office. Im not sure if I can truly articulate how excellent Dr. Baseri and his staff are through this short review format, but Ill give it a try!Way back in the winter of 2011, I took an unfortunate step on an icy street in Prague and chipped my front tooth. While it was embarrassing to have half a tooth for a day, I quickly bonded over the damage and went about my life. I thought that the problem was fully behind me.In the ensuing years though, it was clear that there was deeper damage as a result of the trauma and that the root for my front tooth was actually beginning to die. I was living in New York at the time and after speaking with numerous dentists there, a common consensus was quickly formed that the tooth needed to be removed and an implant needed to be made and placed. If I didnt remove the tooth, it would begin to turn black and then eventually fall out (and possibly spread infection through my mouth). However, despite these dire warnings, I couldnt seem to commit to the treatment and continued to put the procedure off. It didnt help that I was well-aware of how complex this kind procedure is (especially given the aesthetic demands of a front tooth) and I didnt feel completely comfortable with any of the dentists whom I met with. I decided to put the task off for a little longer.I moved to Los Angeles last year for work and not long after arriving, I decided that it was time to address this issue and take charge. I did extensive online research to find a reputable dentist who would be able to merge the complex dentistry work and aesthetic requirements that this kind of procedure requires: 3D X-Rays, removal, implant placement, temporary tooth creation, cleanup of the implant site and use of laser to remove gum tissue, and finally the placement of my permanent crown. Through my research, I found Dr. Baseris practice and decided to meet with him.After the consultation with Dr. Baseri, I decided that I would be doing the procedure with him and would be making him my regular dentist.Dr. Baseri clearly and confidentially walked me through how he would handle the complex procedure over a period of several visits and even built me a custom plan detailing the steps and the purposes behind each one. The plan required that outside experts to assist with certain stages of the process (such as the tooth removal and eventual crown creation). I found these individuals to be just as professional and competent as Dr. Baseri is and it was clear that they were chosen for their high aptitude.Six months later since my tooth was extracted (we had a two month Coronavirus-related delay in the spring) I have a permanent tooth that I couldnt be happier about. The work is perfect and Ive had zero complications with it. The amount of relief that I now feel for having this behind me is immense and I couldnt be more thankful to Dr. Baseri and his wonderful staff.

Honestly didn’t think I’d find a good dentist moving directly from NYC (I had a REALLY good dentist back in NYC) so quickly, but man Dr Baseri is super quick. Very professional, great guy that’s just it. The guy knows his stuff and has exclusive clients for a reason.Technology in there is top notch, don’t forget the front desk too. Joan and her fellow folks are always great. Wait time is minimal and right now during COVID he was still seeing patients ad hoc.He’s replacing my cheapo smile direct retainers for Invisalign retainers.What more can I say? I have known Dr Baseri for a long time.His skills are way above the average American dentist because he also knows a lot more about prosthetics. I was seen by Dr. Baseri for an emergency case while visiting LA. He made sure to squeeze me in last min and stayed longer to insure all the work needed was done for my case before my flight out. I was comfortable during the procedure while watching my shows. Clean and modern environment with easy parking which is a big plus!

Smile recreation or rude dentist who I would most definitely not recommend. If you’re already in Los Angeles I would recommend you seek other dentists in the area as this guy is not one of them. He is extreme rude and un welcoming I’m not sure how he is still able to be in Beverly Hills.

I was very satisfied with the results. Nice receptionist, nice clean area, very welcoming attitude from the assistant. The dentist himself is great and very personable/ friendly. I came in for a whitening and he even gave me a discount on a cleaning. It is a hassle to find parking though, recommend circling the area a few times.

Best dentist experience ever. Had extreme pain on a Sunday and by Monday I had a deep cleaning and root canal performed the next day. Dr. Baseri, Ginna, the hygienists and kind lady who did my root canal all worked diligently and stayed late just to make sure I was ok. Ginna helped me plan out the week around my business trip and was a pleasure to work with. They listened to me and made me feel comfortable and followed up after each visit.

Every person working at Smile Recreation made my experience the best Ive ever had at a dentist, from the women working at the front desk to Dr. Baseri himself. I didnt wait long to be seen by the doctor and for the few minutes I did wait, each room has a TV with Netflix enabled to pass the time.Dr. Baseri and his assistants explained in detail what they were doing and why it was necessary. Their equipment is state of the art: Xrays and cameras allowed me to see in depth the areas of my teeth that needed work. Im confident that Dr. Baseri would not recommend anything that wasnt absolutely necessary and he took the time to explain to me the anatomy of each part of my teeth. During my cleaning, my technician was attentive and made sure that I was comfortable at every moment, opting for a different tool for my more sensitive teeth and gums.Needless to say, Im excited I found a dentist and practice that I trust!

While I was on holiday in Los Angeles, a tooth became infected. I was in a great deal of pain and was so happy that Dr. Baseri could see me right away. Ive seen Dr. Baseri at Zakhor Dental and I had great experiences! What I love about this practice is theyre very efficient. They dont waste any time. I was invited back into an exam room almost immediately after I arrived at the office. Dr. Baseris cleaning was thorough and quick and he answered any questions I had with patience and without hesitation. Dr. Baseri went out of his way to fit me in for an early morning consultation. Knowing little to nothing about Dentistry, I walked out of Dr. Baseris office feeling like an expert. He carefully performed my examination, cleaning and fillings and then meticulously explained exactly how my treatment would work and the possible outcomes or effects of my choices on how to go about my daily eating and cleaning/brushing habits. He is very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I would feel comfortable calling Dr. Baseri with a follow-up question and/or making another appointment for any inquiries given his welcoming and helpful attitude.
