What can you say when you have a unique situation that every other towing service turned down? Pepes to the rescue! Like a bunch of Angels from Heaven my boat trailer lost a wheel on the 605. My insurance Company told me Noone else wanted the job because it required specialized towing equipment. Firstly, the owner sends an assessor to assess the situation and take measurements. I end up going back to the shop where the owner, realizing I am tired and hungry feeds me an excellent hot sandwich and a coke my favorite. Then he laid out the game plan and within an hour we were lifting my boat and trailer with their magnificent state of the art equipment onto a flatbed semi. Got her home safe and unscathed. I truly feel indebt to Pepes staff. I love you guys.

This towing service parks their trucks in the middle of the street and lets a motor run for hours. They not only block traffic but my friend lives in the apartments next door and the fumes are horrible. Turned them into the city

My truck was stolen and they tow the truck to this place next they after I reported the truck stolen. Truck was not damaged and I ended up paying almost 1000$ for towing. this is a second time this happened to us. There is something fishy going on. I guess now they steal cars so tow company can make money of people.

I was involved in an accident that was not my fault Pepes towing was certainly quick about coming to pick up my vehicle but three days later what I called to try to retrieve my vehicle they told me I already owed them almost $1,000. Its just seems wrong to me

The heavy duty drivers are constantly turning left onto a residential street (state st.) when they shouldnt, and drive to fast even when children are present, if they have drivers license they should know the trucks are not allowed on these residential streets and should know how long it takes to stop these over sized trucks. Just to save a few minutes from having to turn left on Boyle could cause an accident or even something more serious. I hope the drivers can read this so they can find an alternate route.

Very poor service. I was over charged almost $300 and my property was left damaged. When I tried to call him, he had no response. I asked him for their business license number and they did not provide it. I was charged a total of $525, when I was quoted a total of $300. I had provided them with the pick up and drop off location, which was a distance of 4 miles. When I tried to contact him again for the charge, he hung up the phone.

My sons Chevrolet Camaro car was towed from the highway when it broke down. Once we found out that Pepes Towing had possession of his car, we were concerned about what sorts of fees will be added. We all hear the horror stories of towing companies and how much it is a wrecking business to take as much money as they can from individuals. I am not happy that I had to pay $321 (lol, which no one would be), but it is what it is. Then I spoke with Melissa and got a real bad feeling about everything; however, it was just a misunderstanding about the situation. If I have to pay the $321, it doesnt hurt so bad if the customer service is excellent. And not to mention that I was handling this from Florida. As an Army veteran, I have been around the world and have seen many unprofessional towing coming, but Pepes Towing Service receives a 5 star. Thanks again, Melissa, for being so kind to my son and myself.

Make sure you check where your vehicle is stored as they have another location a couple of miles away where you get the big cars from, just make sure to remind them to send somebody over to open that place this usually is not supervised other than that everything good with this place even the place prices

My truck was told which they tried to call it a recovery so they didnt have to pay for the damages their Tire lift went through my engine but they blamed it on DWP saying that the guy stepped on the gas then they said theyre not taking responsibility in a phone conversation there was three different statements but the son sent me an email stating that its going to the insurance company the father Jose Acosta decided that he was going to tell me that I owe him $2,000 because he had to recover the vehicle the vehicle was running the police department saw it as well but told me my truck was not worth nothing and Im not getting anything and that hes denying dont ever do business with Pepes Towing because they may wreck your car and then tell you that its your fault everybody elses fault but theres I have talked to several people that have had Towing from Pepes and they have said the same thing theyll say its a recovery because it hit something but the gentleman have the story not proper said that the truck was in a house that hadnt happened it had not six bricks out they just were concerned DWP in the police department wanted it winched out because they thought that would be the safest for everyone however the gentleman back into the engine with the tire lift they dont want to take responsibility and theyre going to put a lien on my truck telling me I have storage but havent returned to call however the sun sends me an email at 3:15 a.m. in the morning telling me that its going to the insurance company never did I disrespect this gentleman but he was very negative and almost in a threatening manner dont do business with Pepes if you dont want your car jacked up or at least not deal with mr. Acosta Jose Acosta I dont know who he is probably a nice family man but when it comes to business I wouldnt do business with him at all bless their company God bless everything that they do but thats not an acceptable behavior not in business dont do business with him if you dont want to get jacked up. Oh Bertha is very professional and compassionate though.

My work van was stolen one week ago,It was found and taken to this place but I can not get it out because they do not release cars on weekends.they want to get more money from people for storing your car..it sucks. I had a terrible lost already getting my tools stolen now this suckers want to get the most money from to to keeping my van in their yard longer...

Ok, so lets talk about pepes towing.this tow company has one bad reputation.Even they told me same thing to when they tow my motorcycle.I went there to take some picture, but they ask me $75 to get in their property to take picture!!! .I never seen tow company ask money to take picture for vhicle damage.The accident was not my fault so i need picture to make claim.Anyway, after few days of collision i went their to pick up my vhicle.I bring the tow cost and 2 days storage fees.They deny me to to take the motorbike because i have to pay 2 days extra storage cost.I told them man i am broken, can you put credit and you guys have my address and everything.I gotta pay you back once i got my next pay check.They say no.So peoes towing is like money grabbing machine.My bike is now lien,and tow cost accumulate $5000.Its total non sense.

I can not express how grateful we are to Pepes Towing. Specifically this one on Boyle Street. Joe and Vicente literally saved our family vacation. We are from North West Washington state. Our motorhome broke down in LA. We had our 4 children with us stuck in an unfamiliar town. We could not find anyone to help us. Finally, we got a hold of Joe at Pepes. He and his crew were willing to do anything to help us get back on the road. They even drove us to our hotel and found a place that was willing to work on ourRV. The next day they towed our RV to the Auto shop. I just cant say enough kind things about Joe and Vicente. I dont know what we would have done without them. Thank you so so much!!!

Staff was friendly enough but when my insurance company wanted to tow my car to the shop, I had to authorize Pepes to release my car four times. No one ever made a record of it. When I spoke to the supervisor to complain that this was completely unnecessary, he insulted me and hung up the phone. Hope that you dont get towed here...
