My employer requires me to get maintenance done frequently. Montri is a quick and trustworthy shop!

I guess they dont do tires or the great staff people talk about on the reviews wasnt there.I had a flat tire and asked if the guy could fix it.The guy wore NO MASK! (And few teeth) had me roll it in. Then all he did was put on the spare and charge me $25!I felt mislead and taken advantage up. Then had to go to a tire shop that was so nice! Hollywood Tire on Fountain is where you should go.This place sux, dont wast your time, money and good will. Dont support shaddy business

I brought my 04 Ford F150 in after experiencing transmission issues. They provided superior customer service, excellent work and great prices for all the work that was completed. This was my 1st time using Montri Auto Repair and I believe they have become my only mechanic going forward. If youre considering Montri for your mechanic work, I highly recommend them without hesitation. They get a 10 out of 10 from me!

Montri Auto Repair is a no-nonsense, highly-skilled BMW and Mini Cooper service shop that provides outstanding service at very fair prices. I have my much loved 2006 Competition Package M3 serviced at BavPros. They also service my daily ride, a 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman S. There is simply no reason to take your BMW or Mini Cooper to the dealership (once your maintenance package is expired, that is.) Go to Montri Auto Repair!

Ive been going to Montri for automotive work since he was located at Temple and Hoover. There is a beautiful soccer field there now where his old garage was. This man knows his stuff and if he doesnt hell direct you to one who is just as honest. Thats a plug for Sunset Transmission. He is never rushed and takes time and effort to explain whatever the problem is. Montri is a great and honest mechanic and a hell of a good guy on top of it all.

Ive been coming here since 2004 when it was Ryans Automotive and I have never been unhappy. Montri is the BEST and the most HONEST mechanic Ive ever known. I will ALWAYS bring him my business.

Fair prices, quality service

I drive a 63 Valiant and I went to Montris from a recommendation from another mechanic who couldnt fix it. They drove all the way to Pomona to pick up a rare part, fixed it quickly and also did a brake job. The price was fair and Id highly recommend.

I was referred to Montri from two different friends who did not know each other. I have made Montri my choice to take care of any issues I have with my car. Prices are reasonable and mechanic is great!

Had a broken belt, they suggested that I change others because they were getting old. Cost me over $700 and they put it together wrong. Driving away from the shop, the car was gasping and choking. I came back immedietly and they tried to tell me it was another problem. They were closing and I would have to come back another day. So I had to leave with a car that could not make it down the block with out dying.I used work on cars and I could tell that they did not put the align the belt to Top dead center. So did not have a car for a day. When I brought it back in the next day they charged me an additional $275 to fix a problem they created. The young girl working there was just feeding me BS the whole time, like it was my fault, then talking to her friends on the phone while I stood at the counter waiting to clear up the issue. Who could blame her, she was taking a helicopter to go to a Rave in Las Vegas. (eye roll) My car problems were not her concern. She got attitude when I expressed my disappointment at having to pay for their mistake. Biggest mistake was going to Montri. Be very careful, they really BSd me and I had to pay for it. Bad service.

I would like to first start off saying Im a female and I own a Volkswagen...which means everywhere I go (even if its just an oil change) I get screwed one way or another. Most mechanics Ive gone to tried to either 1) Give me an outrageous price to fix my car because its a VW and they are more expensive to fix or 2) try to tell me something is wrong when its not because Im a woman so that gives them the green light to take advantage. I first went to Montri Auto because I was referred by a friend being that its so close to my apt I decided to check it out. A few years later Im still coming back for all of my auto repairs. Why? Because whenever I have a problem hes taken the time to look at it free of charge, shows me whats wrong and then searches for the best deal possible to fix it. Hes very honest and if hes unable to fix something hell refer you to someone he knows. Im a firm believer of you get what you pay for, but with great service, fast repairs, and an honest mechanic Im definitely getting more.

They charged me just to looks at my car. I dont know of any shop that does that. And I think its bad customer service.

Very polite and friendly staff

I went in there with AC which needed to be fixed and the back latch not working on my hatchback. He went on to tell me that he couldnt fix the back latch and to bring it to the body shop, and that he couldnt fix the AC because it needed a new compressor and to go to a vw dealer. He then proceeded to charge me $50 for this 10 minute assessment. Rip off, not going back.
