Javier and his team are great. The prices are fair for the good quality work and diagnostics they do which is hard to find these days. He maintains my E350 diesel van and other cars. I was recommended here by a friend. The first time I went here I got my front brakes done. When he was doing my breaks they informed me that I needed my shocks and lower control arms replace outer and lower something (he told me but I forgot) I promise it really doesnt feel like anything was fixed Im considering taking it somewhere else to see if these things were done I still hear rattling like if something is loose on my passenger side and I would think that it have something to do with what he fixed but I could be wrong. I told him about it and he never got around to looking at it. Not to mention when I got my car back every time I started it I hear it click click sound didnt think too much of it a few days later my starter went out. I took it back to him he fixed it and also claimed that my oil pressure needed to be fixed too had no idea what that was about and he charged me $280 now my engine light is on. I have never been to a mechanic and less than 4 months to spend almost $2,000 because problem after problem. Ive had my car for quite some time and I never had these problems so for it to be happening all of a sudden doesnt sit well with me so I was second-guess going here.

I brought my 2011 Ford F-250 6.7L in today on a Saturday. I needed work done immediately due to moving out of state, I was there first thing in the morning for a Oil Change, and coolant flush. Javier and his team are so good, I only wish I could always take my truck there. I had an slow oil leak, a dealership quoted 4k and 3 weeks for the vacuum pump replacement. Javier did a full replacement, oil change, new filter and replaced something else for $900 in one day. I am thankful, Javier is a good communicator if you have a Ford power stroke go here

I never write reviews, but the service at Javiers, was so good, i had to!!!I live in the Bay Area, and bought an excursion in San Diego. On my way home, i broke down. AAA could tow me 200 mile, but i was 450 miles from home, so it was going to cost me $2500 to tow to my house. I didnt know what to do. I decided to find a diesel shop near an airport that had good reviews. AAA wanted me to use one of there shops, but all their reviews were absolutely horrible. I saw Javiers shopand saw all the great reviews and decided to call him. I told him my situation, and he told me that they were closing soon. But he said he would wait for me, and he did. We got stuck in LA traffic and it took us about an hour and a half to get there. I felt bad about having him wait, but he told me he understood my situation,.The following day he called me with the problem and the price which i thought was very reasonable, he also sent me pictures of all the problems. He had it fixed very fast and was extremely friendly.I wish he was in the Bay Area because he is the best mechanic i have ever been to!!!

Javier and his team are amazing. My 2006 ford 250 super duty would not start when I was leaving for work at 3 am. Turned out my FICM was the culprit. I called around to a bunch of places once they started opening and Javiers price was the most reasonable by a long shot. He was able to see me the same day. When I pulled it up to the shop I saw a bunch of different diesel trucks and I knew I was in the right place. After I dropped it off I asked Javier if there was any good places to eat while I waited and he told me about this mexican restaurant up the road. Javier had my truck ready in two hours and I can tell you my truck has never ran so good. He even topped off all my fluids and brought some other stuff to my attention that will need to be done down the road. He never tried to upsell me or lie to me about repairs that need to be done. I will be bringing my diesel back to them anytime something happens.

My first experience with Javiers shop was July 2018. I have a 2000 diesel box truck. Id been having problems with my truck shutting down while driving.Had a few people service it but the problem still reoccurred. Contacted Javier through Google. I’ve been taking my cars to Javier for over 10 years. He and his mechanics are very knowledgeable. I’ve never had to bring my car back. He’s worked on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1997 Lincoln Mark 8, 2005 Honda Civic. I never feel like I’m being over charged because I’m a woman or because I know very little about cars. Basically I trust him with the maintenance of my car.

I do most of my car work at Emeralds for my father used to take his car there before I started driving. Usually I tell Jim what is wrong with the car and he checks on it, he tells me what needs to be fixed, what doesnt need to be fixed, and how much it would cost. Usually it takes less than day to have things done.

Javier the mechanic there is the man. Took care of my 03 Silverado 2500 that had a Transmission problem. Other people had me rebuild twice, took it to him and now it runs beautiful. He took the time to check it and found a short in the transmission control module. Now he’s the only guy I go to.

I like to buy my own parts for my own vehicle, normally I do the work myself to save being ripped off. But when I’m being told it’s a high price and I have to trust them to get some parts then that’s when I have a problem. I like to know what’s in my car! No thank you
