I have a 1992 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible. Saab & Raffi worked on repairing a bad crankshaft pulley and non-working air conditioning system. The A/C compressor was replaced along with the refrigerant discharge and suction hose assembly. I went back later to Raffi with some additional issues on the A/C system, Raffi made it right and was very helpful, fast, courteous, and professional about the matter. A/C system on the Convertible is working perfect now just in time for summer. Raffi is also knowledgeable and straightforward answering questions about routine maintenance and complexities of owning a nearly 30 year old Saab.I just purchased a 1990 Saab 900 S Hatchback and trust Saab & Raffi to help me work through and solve some repair issues.Highly recommend Saab & Raff for any Saab repairs and maintenance.-Kristofer

And the experience that followed has turned me into a life long customer... though I certainly hope I don’t a flat again any time soon. Sure, my tire was fixed in less than 10 minutes for probably the best deal on Sunset, but it was Raffi and his staff that made the process actually enjoyable. Kind and honest. I have used Saab & Raffi to maintain my vehicals for year. Their honesty, fairness and attention to detail is second to none. To illustrate my point recently I was in getting an oil change on my BMW X5. I asked if they could recommend a good transmission shop because I was having some issues with my trans fumbling in certain gears. Raffi suggested that before I took the truck to the transmission shop that they try changing transmission filter and fluids. So I brought the truck in and they did a fluid service. After the service my truck as like brand new and I didnt have to get my transmission worked on at all. That saved me from spending lots of $$$ as the transmission shop would have tried to talk me in to lots of pricey and unnecessary work.

If you own a saab or a Volvo do yourself a favor and bring your car to this man. He’s so knowledgeable and kind which is a rarity in mechanics. I’ve used him for over 6 years now I own a saab 9-3 and a Volvo s40 both watched over by him. His pricing is always right there along other Swedish car mechanics and I will always no matter what bring it to him. Never pushy or imposing on anything and always clear with what’s to be done, the cost and if there’s any recommendations after also at what cost. Prudent place love it!

This guy absolutely knows what he is doing. Not only was he able to solve my problems, he was able to break them down in a way that I can understand. AMAZING! He came to my attention from a friend who highly recommended him.1) His reviews are all 4 or 5 stars. That was impressive for me. What garage gets constant 4 or 5 stars?? Very blown away by seeing that.2) I knew he was a great mechanic because I had a leak in the head gasket (a death sentence for any car), and when I took my car to him he said Lets take it around the block and check. If its not a head gasket, I can save you money that you can spend on something else Any other mechanic would just give a quote right away and take your money, but the fact he wanted to confirm it for himself and help save me money, I thought that was not only very professional, but a decent human being helping out someone else.In the end, it was a leak, and we replaced the engine and got a new one with VERY low mileage!Incredible service. Definitely will come back! Highly recommend.

They charged me 170$ to fix a car light, change the coolant and the air filter. I have no idea in cars, he said it’s one hour and send me for a walk, probably so I don’t see what he does. The car light wasn’t changed and the coolant as well as my boyfriend later looked at the car. There was almost nothing done to my car, they just ripped me off.

I was very impressed with the level of work that Raffi and his team were able to perform. Having dealing with vintage cars and having them restored, I can definitely say that I will return with if I have another problem. My vintage Mercedes was involved in a hit and many shops denied service because of the year of my car. Luckily, I walked into Saab and Raffi and they gave me full confidence that the work would be done. They did a superb job putting on the replacement parts and even matching the paint which is difficult to do with my car. Thanks Raffi!

I was in an auto accident where my driver door, front fender, and hinge pillar were damaged. I went to 2 body shops, where the first did not want to work on the car, and the second could not find all of the parts and was charging a high price. Faced with somehow having to get my car to my mechanic in Hawthorne and missing more time from work, I was referred to Saab & Raffi. Not only was he able to get the parts and do an excellent job with repairing the door, pillar, and fender, he literally finished in a day and half when I was expecting the job to take 4 or 5 days! My first experience with Saab and Raffi. My 2011 Audi S5 battery died, the original one, not bad 8 years and 130 k miles in. Beverly Hills Audi service quote me 830+tax to replace it. The battery was going to cost 335 thus labor would be nearly 500 dollars. Yes, for something that should take 15-20 minutes max. Thats almost fraud.Raffi got me a cheaper battery that probably wont last as long but long enough for the remainder of the cars life, which probably is around 3,4 years. The battery was 225 and Raffi didnt even charge me for labor.And, his time estimate was spot on, well, he had it done even before he promised. Am glad to have found a great independent mechanic! Hes worth his weight in gold :)

The folks at Saab & Raffi are terrific. Ive been taking my cars (first a SAAB and now an Audi) to them for 12 years even though their Hollywood location is nowhere near my Pasadena home. Raffi has become my new and go to mechanic. Every time something comes up I find myself calling (which I’m sure is super annoying) but he’s always been patient and listens to what I have to say. I came to him when my transmission in my ml350 wasn’t working. I called him like after 6 and he said bring the car and we’ll go around the block and see what’s wrong. Come to find out it, it needed a new computer. I left my car with him that night and he even dropped me at home beforehand so I wouldn’t have to walk about late. That alone spoke volumes and he also helped me out by working out an arrangement on the payment because we all know how crazy the pricing is for parts and especially with it happening so randomly, safe to say I was not prepared. So thank you Saab and Raffi! You’ve got a new lifelong client.

I trust him with any of my cars. great shop, great employees, will not bring my cars anywhere else but here.

If you have a Saab, come here. Raffi is a bit rough around the edges. What I mean by that is that his customer service is lacking. After meeting him face to face, not to bad of guy, knows his stuff real good. Little on the pricey side, but it will get done.
