I have been going to Harpers since 2003...Brian remains consistent...he is truthful about repairs that are needed and gets your car done the same day (unless it is a major repair)...he is the best!

I took my church’s utility van to Harper’s Garage, thinking it needed new spark plugs and a general tune-up. The owner convinced me to let him conduct a full diagnostic check to understand the problem. In short, only a lesser priced ignition coil was needed, not a costly tune-up. Also, I found their workmanship to be sound and pricing fair. Harper’s Garage was recently referred to me by a friend and I plan to refer Harper’s Garage to any neighbor seeking automotive service.

Brian is a straight shooter that concentrates on getting the job done correctly, not just fast. I brought my Tahoe here for handle replacement,(anyone with gmc is probably familiar with this issue) but ended up finding my go to mechanic. Also, Brian’s pretty patient since I ordered wrong parts twice to their dismay and/ or amusement. Never out to just charge you. I would hear sounds and think something was wrong, if he found nothing, he charge me nothing. Feel lucky to live close to Brian and his shop. Having a mechanic you can trust and who wont gouge you is such a rare thing in life... Honest (fixing what needs to be fixed and not finding 10 others things to get you to pay for), quick (usually same day) and affordable (better price than other places in area for same service) is a recipe that will keep me coming back.Nothing worse than car trouble, but to know you have a shop you can trust makes it a little bit better. The shop is clean and organized. I do recommend you make an appointment as they pretty much have a dedicated cult following of customers. Once I needed work done that was outside of his realm of expertise and the owner Brian was forthcoming with that information and gave me a referral. I appreciated his honesty and due diligence.

In one instance he told me to not go to him as he wasn’t the best solution - he made a recommend for a transmission shop that was Harper’s equal in my eyes.As the daughter of a mechanic, I understand some of not most of the vehicle issues but don’t have the actual aptitude, skills or tools to do the work. I consider Brian to be the guy who will do the work like my dad would - no BS and no messing around.Definitely my go-to mechanic!
