GREAT PEOPLE AT 1600 VINE 🙏🏼WISH I HADENT MOVED OUT AFTER MY LEASE. AND THE STAFF THERE ARE SO FRIENDLY AND PROMPT.El CENTRO HAS THE WORST/HORRIBLE SECURITY MY CAR GOT BROCKEN INTO 2 TIMES AND IVE ONLY BEEN HERE FOR HALF A YEAR. AND I WOULD THINK THEY WOULD BE MORE SECURED DUE TO ALOT OF HOMELESS NEAR THE GARAGE OR THE AMMOUNT OF RENT WE PAY 🤦🏻‍♀️ AND YET THEY ALWAYS HAVE AN EXCUSE WHEN THIS HAPPENS 🤷🏻‍♀️ ESPECIALLY WITH THIS NEW “ SECURITY “ THEY PUT ON STILL DIDNT MAKE A DIFFERENCE SINCE AGAIN SINCE THERE IS ROBBERIES.

Pros: Beautiful gardening. Great amenities. Upscale units. Friendly cleaning and security staff. Building is well maintained. Package system is great. Convenient location.Cons: El Centro Ave is filled with tents, and cars do burnouts on Hollywood Ave at night. Black dust accumulates very fast on balcony. These are not the managements fault at all, but something to keep in mind if youre sensitive to noise and air quality.Note: Be prepared to pay a couple hundreds of dollars for re-painting and cleaning upon move-out.

I worked at El Centro and lived at Eastown, across the street, and can confidently say that they are both stunning communities with beautiful residences, managed and maintained by a stellar team of professionals. Management is top notch on all fronts, from the leasing office, to the security and maintenance teams. I can say first hand that they genuinely care about their residents, and deliver fantastic services, including a slate community events every month, an on-call staff, and beautifully maintained amenities. Kudos to everyone there for a stellar job. I loved my time at these buildings, and they will always serve as a standard of excellence for the way apartment communities should be managed.

I love everything about El centro Apartments and Bungalows. The units are very nice and comfortable. I like the amenities that the complex offers (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, yoga room, fitness room, gym, etc.) There are plenty of places to spend your leisure time and relax. They also provide onsite activities to have fun. Convenient location near shops, touristic attractions and restaurants, everything within a walking distance. Staff is amazing, especially Jennifer R. she truly cares about what you need, she always goes above and beyond to help me and my family. Safe community, I totally recommend it!

This place is one of the worst apartment buildings I have ever lived in. Weak management makes it hard to resolve any issues.The major issue is that the contaminated water from the upper floors gets to balconies in the first floor. This is a major hygienic issue and can endanger your health. Never rent an apartment in the first floor of building 2 of El Centro in Hollywood.The parking garage doors dont have sensors. Cars always get stock and have to wait for maintenance guy to come and fix the doors. My bumper got damaged by one of the doors and it costs me more than $1000 dollar to fix it. Management makes excuses not to pay me for the damage.The alarm system has major issues. Many times false alarm went on in the middle of the night and also during the day. In one incident it kept on going for half an hour. Not even the ear plug could help with extreme alarm.I usually dont write bad reviews but I thought the best way to help people in search of apartment is telling the truth. If I knew all these problems ahead of time, I would have never picked this apartment. I was willing to leave sooner and pay the penalty, but It took me a while to find a suitable place with god management.

I would like to recognize Tyler Neele for the outstanding service he provides in resident relations. He truly is a gem and shows he cares about how the residents feel. I really dont know how he does it, being so kind every day when I know how demanding his position must be here. I would give Tyler 10 stars if that were an option. He is the BEST!The building is in a great location, but has had multiple power outages on this city block which makes it impossible to work from home, open your refrigerator, take a hot shower etc. Some are planned outages where DWP has attempted to fix whatever issue it is, but repeatedly failed. The last outage was not planned and lasted several days.Lastly, I hope the saltwater pool will reopen soon as it is a wonderful reprieve during the pandemic.

I have lived in a few apartment buildings and I have to say this one is my favorite. The apartments are beautiful the common spaces are amazing. I love the pool! Always clean and it’s not too cold. Has an amazing gym and the security has been great especially for living in Hollywood. Staff are so nice and helpful!

I have lived here one year. It is a beautiful building and flawlessly maintained! I must give a big thank you to Jennifer who has been so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process.

So Id like to first state that we did not get the apartment, but the customer service that JJamee Biadora gave us was incredible.She made her self available and responded back to emails very quickly. She knew what we were looking for. We told her our ideal price range and she was more then happy to accommodate closer to that range.What was so great was that she had videos of the apartments already done and sent us the links so we could view them that way. We couldnt see them in person because we currently lived in Phoenix, AZ at the time and had to move for my partners job. So we had to get an apartment off site.The apartment its self has gorgeous fixtures. Is in an ideal location if you work in down town LA and do not want to drive. Its right next to the subway that you can take to work. Its right across from the W Hotel, along with CVS/Walgreens, Shake Shack, Pressed Juice, Chop Shop Salads, and some ice cream place. It also looks like they are greeting a grocery store built underneath them along with a possible dog grooming or daycare shop.The most important thing is that it is safe. You are on a busy street, and it being right next to the W, that Hollywood & Argyle are relatively safe to walk at night.Theres never a homeless person just setting up shop right on their side walk either, as like what youd see down on Sunset.The reason why we did not get the apartment was because of our couch (Roche Bobois). Its extremely expensive and we did not want to get rid of it.Jamiee sent us the measurements of the apartments as we requested. She responded very quickly.She made herself available during the busy times of covid as well and was patient with us during our whole conversation.The only reason why I also know about the area is that we do not live too far from El Centro and walk our dog around that area often.So if youre looking for someone who is extremely professional, responds in a timely fashion manner, Id suggest asking for Jamee Biadora.

5/5 Staff is very proactive, professional and welcoming, the amenities are by far the best in Hollywood, the units are new (including the appliances) so it is awesome. Also, big shout out to the staff that have been risking their health during these times to protect ours.3/5 Fire Alarms are very annoying, they go off at least twice a week at random hours (today on Saturday at around 6AM) this has been very annoying.3/5 if you happen to have an apartment by El Centro Avenue you mightve realized that sometimes you dont get a lot of privacy due the homeless encampment at the Hollywood Hemp Museum, also, businesses around that area have been very neglectful and irresponsible with how they handle their trash hence we get strong odors and the view is not worth it.I hope these problems get resolved at some point since it will definitely affect the demand.

I have been here for over a year and it’s been awesome! I am not even thinking about moving. This has been a really great place to call home. I love the location and all the upgraded amenities.

What a great place to live! The staff is simply amazing. Huge shout-out to Nicholas, Joe, Gary and Nelson for always exemplifying amazing customer service. We love living in this safe, clean and friendly community!

This property is not how it appears online. It feels like a really nice college dorm. 500+ units with 1 pool. The tour guide told us it’s 30% full and the pool was PACKED, I can’t imagine what it would be like 50% occupancy. The hallways feel like a hospital. The property has problems with tons of flies by all the elevators. I was so looking forward to possibly moving here. The staff was very nice, and has a beautiful gym. Its just a shame the complex is too big and not set up properly.

Location is perfect- cant get anymore central Hollywood than this! Close to everything and such a beautiful building. Plus, the amenities here are fantastic!

Very rude staff including the manager. I couldn’t imagine renting from a leasing office that feels it’s okay to hang up on residents. There are better options in the area. Be very careful in trusting the management. They have a work culture of hostility towards tenants. Dealing with this management company has been a nightmare. Don’t move here.

Amazing apartments (with an awesome pool) right in the center of Hollywood. They also offer a number of really interesting resident events which Im excited to explore!

This place is horrible, its like in and out of caves, people stop ask for direction, all put there is not for anyone to be near, the big black security, two narrow faced, a Latin woman are very rude, nothing is ok there.
