This is the largest CrossFit gym that Ive ever seen. They offer a variety of classes depending on your goals. Their coaches are excellent at motivating you too keep moving. The community is welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic CrossFit place, awesome instructors and a great positive environment. I was a bit intimated joining CrossFit at first since Id never done it before but very happy I did.

I have never been to crossfit before and was intimidating for me to start but from day one I felt no pressure. Coaches are great and they helped me along the way. Other member are all encouraging and supportive. Facility is well kept. Once you start here, you may never go back to normal gym again.

Im new to the CrossFit world and all I can say is that CF Lorton is a great place to work out. The WODs are demanding and challenging but with room to scale down if needed. Moreover, every single Coach I have interacted with has been nothing but great, very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and they have made me feel that Im already part of the CF Lorton family. I absolutely recommend CrossFit Lorton for a great workout and experience.

The coaches the coaching, the people, the atmosphere is electrifying. Makes you wanna give it 110% every workout. And I never feel intimidated working out. They make you feel like family and treat each other equally. The best part is you dont need experience to try! Love it there!!

A large, clean Covid safe gym. Professional coaches. Friendly and supportive members. I wouldn’t go to any other gym in the area during the pandemic.

I was just dropping in on a short visit to the area before I move to the area in a month or so and Crossfit Lorton was right around the corner from my new residence. Right from the beginning I felt comfortable warming up on my own and the coach was very helpful in getting my waiver set up and signed in. The location is great on a very calm street, the facilities are nice with quality equipment. More importantly the current members were very friendly and seemed excited to be there even at 6 in the morning. I look forward to potentially joining once I permanently move to the area and definitely a must drop in Crossfit location.

I joined CF Lorton a bit over a year ago. I sort of stumble upon this program and what CF was, I started with a 6 week burn class trial, I was overweight and in poor health. I finished my 6 weeks trial and I havent looked back. CF Lorton has great coaches that will show you and teach you the right movement, modify movements, nutrition tips and if needed and at your own pace will work with you to build you up to the level you want to reach. Thanks Steve R and all the great coaches that have taught me so much! I like to work and play hard and like to get to the next level...if you are looking for a good CF/Burn workout this is the place to be, you wont regret it.

This is really an amazing facility! It offers everything, friends, fun and a great workout! It doesnt just offer CF either, they have bootcamps and other groups that will suit your needs if CF isnt your thing. Also, FREE child care at 9:30 and 5pm with a babysitter! Cant beat that:)Come, and see! Crossfit Lorton will absolutely change your life in many ways.

New to the area so we dropped in today to try it out. Steve (owner) was very accommodating and personable. They have a great space too. One of the largest boxes weve seen. Most of all, we could immediately sense the positive community they have at CF Lorton. The members were super friendly. They already invited us to some of the social shindigs they have planned outside of the box. Considering this, and that they have free childcare during some weekday WODs, we decided to join up today.

I find it strange that my review of this gym from 4 yrs ago is no longer on the google review page (2others still there but both 5 stars). Honestly, I hope the owner Steven turned things around. I have a kinesiology background and undergrad and being military I’m competitive to a fault and a decent gypsy so I’ve had more opportunity to compare CF gyms than most. I always test drive multiple gyms in a new neighborhood before picking one and look for good knowledgeable coaches who emphasize safety and good form/function over #reps/weight lifted. I did not choose CF Lorton because of the owner’s coaching or lack and the environment he set. Circa 2012-2015, CF Lorton had a few good coaches but the owner set a horrible environment hanging out with his buddies vice coaching. Even laughing with one who said he’d rather learn to deadlift from a coach who can lift heavy vice who knows what they were doing and how to correct form. Once he found out I was test driving was then when Steve started coaching the whole class vice just his boys (made a showing in the newbie back corner that had developed that day). Also witnessed Steve first hand at at least 2 local friendly competitions and one regional blatantly elbowing in to judge his athletes, counting poor reps as good, and verbally harassing the other gyms athletes... the epitome of what CF naysayers profile us all to be. Gets an extra star (to 2 stars) for hoping the environment is better now and because I’m optimistic that he’s corrected to stay in business. Overall glad I didn’t join CF Lorton.

Excellent crossfit gym, Steve is a top notch owner and really cares about the members. The community is very strong with many events throughout the year. In addition to crossfit, there are other programs to cater different members such as Burn and Olympic lifting classes. Weve been members for the past 6 years and would recommend Crossfit Lorton to anyone who cares about their health!

I have been a member of this crossfit for nearly a year and I absolutely love it. The locations is convenient for me and the class schedule is very accommodating. I love that child care is included during the busy class times, and if its not a busy time your child can still go in the child area they just wont have direct supervision (however, you can see the child area from the main part of the gym.) The coaches are all very knowledgeable and helpful and will gladly assist you even if they are doing their own workout. For that matter, so will the other members. Steve is great and is always willing to help. He is working hard to make everything even better for everyone!

Great gym with great people. Ive been to a couple of gyms in the area and lorton has by far the biggest facility and some of the best athletes in Virginia.

I cant recommend Crossfit Lorton enough. One of the big differences between Crossfit gyms is the programming and coaching. Steve the owner is a great coach and puts together great daily workouts. One thing that I love about Crossfit Lorton is that the members and gym is easy going and friendly . If you are long time Crossfitter or new to the gym you will fit right in. I highly recommend Crossfit Lorton if you are looking for a new box or want to try Crossfit.
