Prepare to jump through their hoops and play their game even to renew.. last 3 gas last 3 electric bills plus your income, ssi etc etc. They can pull that all up on their computers in seconds or call utilities as they do anyways, and see your income and that you pay your gas and electric each month as you need to. Very rarely I get someone on the phone and end up leaving a message and they usually call back. At least they always have been polite on phone or in person. They base on percentage of your income YET do not account for other things you pay like water and garbage, house and car insurance, gas for vehicle, or like taking care of your pets, feeding and caring for yourself and pets, yeah beats paying full amount by far but it is still hard on someone who is on a fixed income owning a house and all the costs involved other than gas and electric. They all should be on a fixed income, live alone and own a house instead of getting a decent income and see how rough it can be.

Do not recommend, they dont help people in need, havent helped me, Ive submitted my documents not once but four times, called several times left messages, no one returns my calls and never heard back from them since my appointment in December. Never helped me just got all my personal information and did nothing to help me during the pandemic. Now trying other places to relieve help . Then I got to handle what this place took all of my personal information for since they never helped me in my dire circumstances.

You will have better chances winning the mega millions, than someone actually answering the telephone.

Went in yesterday to see what paper work was needed yesterday. Went back today with all paper from the sheet of paper i was given and got told that i needed 5 more documents that should be on the list. Now i can not get help if the time frame i need. This place was suppose to be a help to the community what a joke. I can not help but feel like this agency should be closed.

They give you a number to call but don’t never anwser the phone . I’m not understanding .
