We decide to go to the landfill and ended up at the central station by mistake but to our surprise they took care of us with no problem plus we found out that if your in the county you can take 5000 lbs of your trash free of charge because you pay for it in your taxes. I would recommend taking your house whole trash there. Great friendly people. We will be back for sure lol
We showed up to drop off some household hazardous waste. We pulled up to the booth and were told to follow the red arrows around to the drop-off section. The directions were easy to follow and we drove into a place with markings of where to leave certain waste (computers, paint, TVs, etc.) It was so easy! Highly recommend if you live in Seminole County & have old electronics or hazardous waste to get rid of.
Grew up in Seminole county in the 60s and 70s Ive had to come back to take care of Mom mom had a lot of stuff and the personnel to dump was so helpful in helping me to get rid of it five stars all the way
Very well organized facility, and employees were helpful.
Tried to drop some branches off to make it easier on garage pickup waited in scale line 20 min didnt move so went to window to see if I needed to be in that line she is like yes for payment, I said so I can leave at curb for free but pay to come here and wait 45 min in line.
In And Out Pretty Much Everytime I Go.
Did not accept 4 garbage bags of weeds. Kept asking, how are you going to pay. I never paid before for limited debris. When did this start?
Very well organized. Easy to go through.
The individuals who operate the weigh station are the rudest people. And don’t bother calling to ask questions, no one picks up the phone, and when you get there they want to send you off to another landfill. Completely unhelpful, don’t care to answer questions. Extremely RUDE!!!
Great place to meet new friends.
Good place to drop your palm debris!
Great place to dispose of yard waste! Staff was excellent as well.
I like the smell
Easily recycled my old electronics here!
Great place to drop off recyclables if you don’t live in a house that has pickups. They ask if you live in Seminole County, might check your ID.They have everything in order. Easy.
I love this place! Everyone is so nice and friendly. I drop off stuff when I need to from yard waste to spray cans and old paint gallons. Thank you for being open to residents.
I just moved to the area and decided to drop off my moving supplies for recycling (boxes, paper, etc.). The staff was mostly friendly, with the exception of the person who gave me subpar instructions on where to go. Once I figured that out and got to the right area, I was basically disgusted with the entire scenario. Everything had a layer of grime over it and made my skin crawl. There were filthy birds eating trash everywhere. I would have taken photos, but I tried to touch as few things as possible. After emptying my car (probably incorrectly) and getting out of there as soon as possible, I doused myself in hand sanitizer and went home to shower immediately. I realize this is a dump, so I shouldn’t have been surprised at what I found. However, I have been to similar centers in other cities that were much cleaner and organized. Do whatever you have to do to avoid this place. I will probably have nightmares for weeks.
None of the staff wanted to show me a boat. They have 17 available to sell, but I guess I didn’t look like a could afford one, lol. Bye, I’ll take my 40k elsewhere.
I work here
