Worked for this company for one year. This company is honestly one of the most toxic I’ve ever experienced. Management plays favorites and makes decisions based on emotions and feelings rather than what’s right for the team as a whole. Manager nominated and awarded himself as “employee of the month” before most anyone else had a chance to win. I was written up for being gone for an extended unplanned period of time when I quite literally had Covid-19 and was threatened to be fired if I missed any more time after fracturing a bone, and was told that I absolutely cannot work remote, I have to be physically in the office to unlock the front door and check a product shelf (what? This is an IT company…. And it’s 2021). The company also conveniently maintains just enough employees to not qualify for FMLA, so good luck to anyone who has any kind of disability or accident-induced injury. Techs are valued more highly than admin staff. Got a $2 an hour raise under the condition that I only used the extra money to cover the cost of their overpriced and underwhelming insurance coverage and was still only making $14.00 per hour (equivalent of $12 after insurance costs). Was guilted into using my own personal time and money to run company errands on my own dime and pick up stuff for the office during my lunch breaks (unpaid). I finally had enough after one year and left, at which time, management decided to dump his own morale and spread negativity and falsehoods about me to the only people there who I actually respected. Within 7 days of my two week notice being submitted, 3 other employees quit/were terminated. If I were you, I’d quite literally go anywhere else, but most interviewees already don’t show up as it is (good choice).

The SemTech/SOS teams have treated me like family from day one. Truly an honor to work with such a great company. Will always look forward to Chris’s positive attitude in the office. Nothing brings this team down!

Exceptional people! They supplied our 501c3, nonprofit dog rescue organization with a free computer to help our volunteers work behind the scenes to save lives in need. We are beyond grateful for their hard work and generosity. What an amazing group!
