Welp...they need to teach basic math skills to the cashiers and Phil(might be a head cashier). We bought a hasp which totalled for $4.52. Gave the cashier $50.00 she punched in $10.00, change would be $5.48...from the $10.00, she couldnt figure out the change from a $50.00..., Phil came over and told her to give us back $44.52. Last time I checked, $50 - $4.52 is $45.48...Simple math, I learned subtraction in 2nd grade, but if need be, a calculator was right next to the register, too.

Ask for help got it right away didnt follow me around the store like I was the criminal I feel truly welcome and establishment the owner should be proud

A lot of the gardening/nursery stock was in pretty bad condition. Usually not so bad. Maybe just an off day. Still giving a good score as everything else was great and even wound up buying a gas powered mower with bag that I could not find at home depot, Walmart, or anywhere else!

I looked all over the place for an item finally asked someone .they use to ask if you needed help now you have to find someone.but they are nice and helpful

They dont even offer to help you load, even Walmart offers and helps you load. So no excuses for not. because we are a Big box store is not a good excuse.

No checkstands open only self checkout.2 people at the self checkout need help..but associate is to busy trying to get customer to apply for a card. One customer goes to another associate standing there and she told him he needed to wait..I said we needed help too...now the line for self checkout is growing.Was told sorry...I suggested they open a checkstand. On the hottest day of the year & with all Fans / AC Units being sold out in town, they took their time to collaborate with my partner & me on a solution. We purchased a Craftsman Shop Fan & an extension cord that worked with it & VOILÁ! Were feelin the breeze! 🍃🌞😊

I like lowes alot but theres never alot of help around when you need especially compared to home depot! They do seem to carry more than home depot and often the prices are a tad cheaper, but I like to have help when I looking to buyore products but wont purchase more because noones around to answer my questions. I have never understood why they cant have a greeter at the door to point you toward your product you need or maybe answer a question or two!

Went in looking for a walk- in shower and was assisted by a super associate named Mike. He took the time to make sure all of the pieces we needed were available, which 1 piece needed to be ordered. He put the 2 pieces in the back room holding them overnight until we talked to our contractor. Went back the next day to purchase everything and was helped by another super associate named Jason. He found where Mike stashed our pieces and helped us get them out to our truck.

I’m moving to Seattle during their record-breaking heatwave; no AC in my apartment. Figured on my way up the coast on my move that I’d stop at a smaller town and see if they had any portable AC units. I called ahead and inquired about the availability; was on hold for a minute but turns out they didn’t forget about me, they were just actually making sure they had what I needed. Lucky me, they were unloading a brand new shipment of portable ACs at that very moment! Got there, was greeted at the door and given directions to the aisle I sought. Once there, there were a few options to choose from. A couple employees immediately came over and asked what we were looking for and if they could help. They were SO FABULOUS with their help. I selected my unit and some foam side paneling and one of the men helping us in the aisle put my unit in a cart and rang us up and even helped us Tetris the box in my already stuffed car. So sweet! I couldn’t find their names on the receipt but they were all so awesome and helpful!Edit: I never ever write reviews because I’ve never been this happy with service at a store. That’s sayin’ something!

Went to Lowes today to buy dowels and as I was going back to the lumber area witness one of the employees disrespected and talking very rudely to an elderly gentleman who just wanted his 1x1 to be cut! The employee refused to cut it so this elderly man left the store still buying the 1x1 but without it cut !! Then the employee ignored me after looking me straight in my eyes.... I had to yell excuse me in order to get his attention and ask him where the dowels were and he pointed to the back of the store and walked away! I then found the dowels that I needed, went up and asked a cashier to call so I can get it cut, she did....and nobody ever showed! Went up to the help desk to let them know I wanted to talk to a manager and that they just lost a customer and I will not be shopping at Lowes anymore I would go to home Depot from now on even though Lowes is only a minute from my house and she tried to fix the problem and told me that she would get it cut and give me a discount and ask a gentleman to ring me up and cut it for me..he said okay and then when rung it up he decided to ring me up for full price!! Im done with Lowes Im done its not the customers fault that people decided to call in. Dont take your frustration out on your customers!! NEVER AGAIN... AND GUESS WHAT HOME DEPOT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!

DONT BUY APPLIANCES HERE! THEY LIE!Said my fridge will be delivered in 10 days, on the tenth day NO fridge. Called, said not till Sept over 2 month to deliver a fridge. I then canceled the sale, they didnt care, not one apology or concern.

Stood at customer service for nearly 10 minutes before the red haired lady finally decided to look up and ask if I needed help, after Id been standing right infront of her the entire time basically staring her down. Lady shouldnt be working a front counter, she should probably be stocking shelves or something. Good f***ing lord.

We purchased a new washer. It went great with the lady that worked out the purchase with us. Unfortunately when we went up front to pay and pick up the washer the cashier had issues with ringing the % off the 1st employee said that my husband would get by applying for the Lowes credit card. So when we get home and really get to check out our receipt booya... was a little bit less than we had been told by the time that we were home we were both beat from going store to store... Honestly Lowes is a great store.. At least you can purchase the advertised appliance in the store and not have to either buy a cheap made washer because thats the only one that they have on the premises. It wait a week for the one you want and maybe it gets to the store.. Yes ... Lowes is Great. 👍

No one knows anything about my oven detail, no one will call me back. No one can contact the vendor Lowes sent out to me and gave me the number to call but no one answers the phone when i call. Why is getting an oven installed so difficult for Lowes big box store?

So frustrated with Lowes customer support. I tried to buy a washer and dryer set. Spent over an hour at the store, then over 2 hours online, finally settling on a pair that showed in stock. the next day i get a call indicating the washer is not available but the rest will arrive on time. with no options available and 0 supportive help from the customer service agent i was forced to cancel the whole order. the guy just wanted off the phone with me. Seems like it would be easier to spend money at their store. not trying again.

So, I think everyone should know up front that appliances you buy from Lowes have only a 30 coverage from the store (if the appliance should break). After 30 days you are forced to deal directly with the manufacturer. Now, in my case that was GE. I have been a long time fan of the GE appliance line, that is probably going to change. The microwave I purchased from Lowes lasted just less than a year. When I contacted GE through the phone number given me by Lowes, the phone tree was a nightmare which is why I went to the website. At the website I was appalled that I could not actually talk to anyone. They required me to pay a $5.00 fee via giving them my credit card to have anyone talk to me. This whole experience amounts to the worst customer service support program(s) that I have ever experienced. I certainly will never even think of going to Lowes for a small appliance purchase again and if this is the standard of care GE is extending to customers I will look at other manufacturers over the GE products because they clearly do not want to make is easy for the customer. - Dissatisfied and Disappointed with both companies.

This store is staffed by slow, incompetent people. Stopping by for any small thing can take a long time because nobody seems to know what they are doing.

I like the quality and choices of home improvement items Lowes have. I love the self check out system. However, maybe they can have a system to look for items by picture like the grocery stores when paying for items without the bar code.That would be nice!

Went to Lows appliance dept for anew refrigerator.I wanted the freezer on the bottom half.The clerk implied that I was an idiot.So,I went to Home depot.

Dont bother wasting your time with curbside/store pickup. Their website does not reflect actual in store inventory so they will be out of stock on some of your order. Instead of calling you to tell you they cant get you one thing, they dont process the order for a week, then something else is not out of stock so they will ship that to me in two to three weeks. If they wouldve just given me everything they had in stock at the time, Id have everything I ordered. Their customer service guy said its a new system and its better than it used to be. Funny, Home Depot had it figured out from day one. Lowes has been able to pull off one of three online, store pickup orders correctly (the one successful one was at another store come to think of it as Longview didnt have any stock), while home depot has been batting 1000. I guess Ill be driving an extra 15 minutes for my home repair needs, where I can expect to get my order fulfilled quickly and/or be told something isnt in stock immediately, not a week later when they still havent filled my order.

I come to this location frequently because I need appliances often and they usually have them in stock. But today was different. I only needed a copy of a receipt and the customer service rep was unable to complete my request saying that only the manager knows how to do that. What’s the point of having people at the counter if they can’t complete basic functions? Home Depot pulled my receipts without a hitch.

Quick turnaround. In the door, greeted by cashier. Grabbed my lumber and was politely checked out quickly...

If this was the only Lowes in the country, I would become a devoted home depot fan. The worst employees I have ever encountered at a Lowes. This location is seriously mismanaged.

Each time I visit this store, I remember why I avoid it like the plague!!!Zero customer service!!!

I parked with 8 or so minutes until they closed and my entire transaction should have taken less than 5 minutes. I have physical limitations that make it difficult sometimes and Im allowed to use the disabled parking space so I was parked right in front of the exit and pretty much the only person except for one employee who was leaving and saying goodbye over his shoulder as he walked out. By this time, Im at the back of my SUV getting out four empty water bottles for exchange. There were no carts readily available so I managed to carry the large but lightweight bottles towards the entrance where I found a flatbed cart. With the bottles now on a cart, I tried the entrance which was locked. Store hours on the door indicated they should still be open for 6 more minutes. So I hobbled myself over to the exit which is where the empty bottle exchange is anyways. One employee was letting another employee out and was about to lock it behind him when I asked if I could exchange my empties. Sorry, were closed. It wasnt so much what he said, it was how he said it and what he was doing while saying it. In no way did he actually sound apologetic. In fact, he sounded downright condescending. This is the same person who was standing there when the first employee was walking out and saying goodbye. which means, he watched me struggle to unload the bottles and haul them to the already locked entrance. Yet at no point did he say, excuse me sir, were closing in 5min. or anything like that which would have saved me a bunch of hassle and even more frustration. Now, I dont care whether its 2 minutes or 20 minutes, if your posted hours say youre open, I expect you to be open and I dont think thats unfair or in any way out of line.How much does a company lose every day when their employees are 5min late opening the store and closing 5min early?How much does a company lose when one or two bad employees treat regular customers poorly and they decide to do business elsewhere?

Pretty nice Lowes. Their layout is a bit different than Home Depots. Pricing is fair but personally I feel Home Depot has a little better pricing and more to offer and much easier to shop. They are doing there best for safeguarding their employees but very unprofessional at this time. Pieces of PVC pipe and plastic are their guards for the staff and it just doesnt look good in my opinion. Overall not a horrible shopping experience

If you expect “loaders” NOT to know how to load your purchase AND have it fall out AND have a “manager” ask you if you tied it down before you left and tell you it’s your fault AND you’re happy with that, this is the store for you! My Lowe’s card will be cut up and Home Depot will get my business from now on.

We have visitors since we had our yard cleaned up. Lowes had a 3 pack of snap traps for a great price. I got the plastic ones so I can drop them in boiling water. Im a happy customer.

A few years ago Home Depot was the go-to place for contractors and Lowes, while viable, was clunkier, etc. Lowes stepped up their contractor-servicing program and became easier to work with. In the meantime, Home Depots customer service level fell off a cliff with Covid. I didnt notice any decline in customer service at Lowes during Covid. If anything, it got better. Kudos to Lowes.

But with my jub, I HAVE to go through a regular register, and more often than not, seems like they can never figure out priblems without 3 or 4 different people trying to solve it, so I end up waiting forever.At homedepot I can use self check out for my tax exempt. Cant do that at lowes. So I always have to stand there forever and wait.

Purchased a new Clothes Dryer. It was in stock and they had a very good sale on it.

I shop exclusively at this store in Longview and spend considerable amount of dollars. Since the governor of this state enacted an executive order starting 7/7/20, I still go in with my mask on which I have done for months. Plenty of shoppers are ignoring that edict and if the store isn’t going to enforce that order I’ll start shopping elsewhere. The clerks can’t enforce it but management can. Please make it happen before I start to instruct non wearing customers that they are endangering my life.
