Rented 2 scaffolds and out of the 2 I had enough parts, 1/2” wing nuts to hold the bracing on, to use one of the scaffolds. It seems that it’s the renters fault if all the parts aren’t there. I still had to pay for both. Not good customer realations by any means. Gave it 2 stars as what I did use was good quality. . Buyer beware .

They were nice but we got a 6 wood chipper from them with super dull blades and wouldnt even chop a 1x4 without binding up. Had it for an hour, took it back and still had to pay $120 for it. I would not recommend this place if they can not maintain their equipment and/or give you your money back if their equipment fails.

The staff here is helpful and will definitely get you what your needing and if they dont have it usually can refer you to who will. I always get trailers here, very solid and not too expensive.

My father and I reserved an excavator to use for digging up stumps, as well as digging around a tractor that was stuck. Signed the paperwork and paid for the rental. We began talking with the owner about our project for the day. After discussing it, he said they dont allow their machines to be used for digging stumps because it was guaranteed that the machine would be damaged. He also said that he didnt want us to use it for digging around the tractor in fear of the machine getting stuck as well. We explained to him that we would use caution in operating the machine, primarily so we wouldnt have to pay for repairs, etc. He continued insisting that he did not want us to use the machine in the manner we described citing that he had been in the business for 30+ years and knew that his machine would be damaged if we used it in the manner we intended. After that discussion, we cancelled our rental and went to Arrow Rental. We discussed our project with the gentlemen there and said that it is possible to damage machinery in any project and that would need to proceed with caution (common sense) and that we would be liable for any damages (understood by us). We rented a smaller machine from Arrow than what we reserved at ProStar, successfully dug up the stumps, did some digging around the stuck tractor, and had no damage to the machine after we finished. It was clear that the man at ProStar was not interested in our business. I would recommend checking Arrow for equipment rental needs as they were very helpful and had a better price.

Several months ago I left a negative review, and I’m happy to say that since then, this company has improved.I typically use Pro Star on a weekly basis. They keep their equipment well maintained, and they seem to be making improvements in customer service. Great job guys!

Cheats you on time rented. Pick up at 1:30 but have to get it back by 5:00 pm for half day price instead of having it back by morning like other places. Last time made us use their trailer because we only had one binder telling me they required two. After returning trencher, found out by another man only one binder is required. Thats twice theyve been unethical. Wont be using them again.Editing to respond to your reply: There was nothing wrong with our trailer and thats why you allowed us to use it today. We were given WRONG information the first time and subsequently had to pay more. Today, we could have been given the opportunity to return at opening or be charged the full day price, but instead we missed other work to get it back for half day price when you were only opened for 3.5 hours after we picked it up.
