Called ahead to try and see if they had availability for new tires and no one responded for a good minute and a half. I was then put on hold until I hung up. Visited the store in person and no one was at the front, a guy came into the store not wearing a mask (even though county requires all business to be masked) and was greeted in a very lack luster way. Immediately was told that they wouldn’t be able to change my tires until a week out. After getting quoted $970 for service and tires I told them I would find a better price and left.Went ACROSS the street to Discount Tire and was greeted professionally, guy gave me a quote that was within $10 of what the guys over at Firestone quoted and told me it would be ready in 1 hour. For the price being so close and service fees being tacked on, I would much rather pay for the professional and charismatic people over at Discount.Unfortunately, I won’t be doing any business with Firestone due to my interaction with their employees.

I needed a new car battery the evening before a rod trip to CA and thanks to Ford engineering it was a 2 hour job 🙄. Wyatt was fantastic. Squeezed me in and got it done. These guys have have always bent over backwards to help my wife and I out.

Used to bring my lifted jeep to them to get alignments without any issues. Clearly they dont want anymore work as they told me they cant align my jeep because its lifted(funny that was never mentioned the two other times Ive brought it to that location). Its literally a matter of lining the wheels up and adjusting the draglink and tie-rod accordingly, nothing more. You dont even need to touch the control arms.Bring your vehicle someplace else for work cause if they arent confident enough to do a simple alignment on a solid axle vehicle, I wouldnt trust them with anything legit mechanical.Also doesnt help when you tell someone over the phone that you can do it and then when they bring the vehicle in its another story. Waste of my time and money buying a lifetime alignment from you people.

You cannot depend on their scheduling. Last year I was happy with their service but it was my first time to get tires exchanged. This year scheduled an appointment with a clear condition that the car needed to be ready by 1:30. No problem was the answer. When I arrived they told me they were so busy they would not be able to finish it. Okay, mistakes can happen. Rescheduled for a week later. Came back, took the car in and asked if it would be ready by the time agreed. A little longer. Fine… certainly before 2:30. Come back at 2pm car was not even touched. Would not be ready, he said. And I am not coming back. Why make appointments when you not intend to stick with them?

Took a tire in last night with a nail in the grooves between the tread. After waiting 2 and 1/2 hours it gives me back the tire because it was right before 5:00 and I took it home an hour later I put it on my truck woke up this morning and tire completely fat now I have to take all apart again put the spare back on take the old one back over to Firestone have been repair it right not in a hurry and I hope they better not actually try to charge me again. Gentleman in the front office older guy was very helpful they were extremely busy and he rushed to get me in and out. It may not be fixable either way customer service is great there Ill update after my appointment at 1 to fix what should have been fixed yesterday at

I had my car towed here as I usually go to firestone for my work truck and my personal vehicle. This store tried to tell me an alternator costed $600 dollars . Also it was $200 dollars an hour for labor with 2 hours total . I also let them know when I came in it was the alternator or the battery that was bad . They charged me 99 dollar diagnostic fee for what I had told them was the issue. Plus an oil change for 60 $ . They were charging $960 dollars for all of this. I called a store 5 miles away that was gonna charge me $330 less then what the other store. .

They didnt reattach my battery in securely after a tire change (which is a weird time to detach a battery). Car ran fine until a few turns later and the negative terminal came loose. On the highway. Good tires, but I almost died, which is really bad.

My bestie usually brings her car to Firestone when her car needs quicker repairs and or an oil change. Today, she made an appt to bring it in. When I took the keys in the gentleman behind the counter stated she did not have an appt. clearing I had a confirmation number and everything. So he said they would take it and give me a call when it was complete. ( we have done this before and never had a problem ) So later this evening it is a bit after 6 and have yet to hear from anyone. Now, my sister was at work and had to have her vehicle brought to her and drop her children off at someone’s house....up North. I think this was extremely unprofessional, and I Will be thinking twice about goin to Firestone again.we are now without our vehicle and we all work in the morning. So wrong. Someone could have called us.

Tried for 3 days to get through to find out price and make an appointment, finally answered after calling 34 times on the third day only to find out that I could drop my car off at 7 am and would not be able to pick it up until after 6 pm now I know places get busy but 11 hours for an oil change never ever going to do business with them my time is just as valuable as there’s

I would call these guys high school drop outs but even small children can tell and even estimate time. Got there at 1pm and was told it would be 45 minute wait for tire repair. I asked if I could come back at 2pm and get serviced then. He said yes (cashier). I come back at 2 and wait 30 minutes as others get their rides and mine doesnt even get touched. I ask what the hold up is (manager). He looks at me crazy and says he has no idea who said that because theres been cars there since 9am waiting to get looked at. There were literally 3 employees total present, so either the manager has mental deficiencies I can only guess at or they are especially lazy and incompetent to be dealing with multi-ton vehicles and families safeties!!!

Arrived early for appointment. Justin took vehicle in immediately.Service Technician Dave did work. Oil/filter change, rotate, balance and align RAM 1500 p/u.I always watch the work being done. Dave was complete and thorough.No problems, Great work. All friendly and professional. Great Team.Ive used Firestone in 12 states over 15 years. Many times repeat at same place. I was buying a vehicle and getting a pre-purchase inspection, Jim at the front desk was very nice, the technician was also very nice and I made sure to tip him. they were very communicative about the process and didnt charge me an arm and a leg. If I lived in Longmont I would probably visit them more often.

Ive been into this shop a handful of times for a few different reasons but most often just an oil change and regular maintenance. The staff is always very helpful, polite and professional. Ive never had any issues with the service or the work. While waiting in the lobby for my vehicle to be finished, theres not much to do but sit and watch. From what Ive seen, the staff is friendly all the way around and all of the other customers coming and going seem to have a good experience too.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. I dropped my car off at 1030am you get a nail out of my tire. Told them I was leaving my car and would be back at 330 to pick it up. Got there and my car was not ready. Had to wait an extra 30 minutes for it to be done. Just a flat fix. So kinda dissapointed with that part of it.

We were heading from Denver to Greeley and had a blowout on one tired on I-25, so we called this location to see what the wait was looking like to get in and out of there. Over the phone, Fred, told us it wouldn’t be a problem. When we didn’t know the tire size, he was pretty rude.We went in and he wrote up a quote for four tires. Not to mention, they were packed! We have a newborn and if we would have known they were that busy, we would haven’t have wasted the time. We were told it would be over three hours to replace a single tire after calling and being told we would be in and out in under an hour.After speaking with Fred again but in person, he was pretty rude AGAIN and his tone changed more aggressive when speaking to me. He told me he’ll get to it when he gets to it and if I don’t like that that I can drive around and try to find somewhere else open on a Sunday.Another person came in after us, with a similar issue. He also tried to up-sell us on an alignment.When I told him I was going to leave a negative review, his demeanor changed, and got the tire replaced in under an hour. We will never come back here!

Gary and the entire crew at Firestone were a blessing when I was traveling through on a road trip leaving me stranded on I-25. They recommended a fantastic tow service, got my car in right away, called around to find a replacement wheel that had been discontinued and found one, and got me back on the road the same day. Gary went above and beyond for me, and Im just sad Im not from the area in order for them to get my repeat business.

I have had great service here, twice. This 2nd time, Sunday, July 7, 2019, I called about my leaky-going-flat-again tire. I got enough air in it to get there but it needed to be fixed as I had a road trip to set off on. They squeezed me in and it was obvious they were very busy. Then, because I find the whole right/left thing challenging, I told them it was the rear right tire instead of the rear left. They called to tell me they could not find anything wrong and thats when I realized I had told them the wrong tire! They did not complain or call me names (to my face, at least!) and they still repaired my tire (roofing nail) by 3PM Sunday. Great guys! Kudos to Fred and the rest of the team!.

My husband and I did research on new tires for 3 or 4 days knowing that the next week it was going to snow and he REALLY needed new tires. We settled on a deal that we found at Firestone. Seemed like really good tires for a great price. We called them and they didnt have them in stock so they said we could order them and come in the next afternoon to have them put on our car. That was okay but the next afternoon was when the snow was coming in. When we showed up for our appointment they did not have the tires that we had requested. In fact they didnt have any tires in that size. They said we could order some other ones for the next day but that those would be $140 more. The snow at this point was already falling and the tires on our car needed to be replace immediately. They did not offer any solutions even though we had done our research, ordered tires, and made an appointment. There were 3 other people trying to get help that were having issues as well. Terrible service! We ended up leaving and going to Peerless Tires who got us tires within 30 minutes with a smile on their face. I will never go back to Firestone.

Stopped by to have my air pressure checked because the tire balance light was on and they did such a thorough job checking because all tires were fine. He spent nearly 30 mins checking everything and it turned out to the the spare! All at no cost. Amazing service!

We used their services twice in a week and in both appointments something went wrong and caused hours and hours of wait.The first time our appointment (done in person a few days before) was not in their system so they did our car after all the other appointments of the day.The second time the new battery that they were going to put in our car was broken and they had to go somewhere else to get another one;Again hours and hours waiting!Not really impressed especially after reading many similar reviews.

Made an appointment for a tire rotation and the experience ended terribly.I came in to get a rotation done on a set of four tires I had purchased from this store. They took my car in and got started fairly quickly to my amazement. I was approached by the mechanic working on my car with one of my front tires and it was very worn. They suggested replacement, but I am not in a situation where that is feasible. I said just do the rotation and all moved forwards or so I thought. I was given the keys to my vehicle and a receipt saying the rotation was completed and headed home.At my apartment, I looked more closely at the tires and they did nothing. The tires were still in the same locations, and my time wasted by their tech. I called the store right away and the tech that worked on my car said they were also the service manager(Scott). A short sorry with nothing following was all he had to say. I asked for him to explain why this happened and he called it a miscommunication, and offered no other explanation or any further solution. He even had a chuckle on the phone as we conversed about the situation.Stay away from this place. By other reviews, this is not the first time they dont complete service as expected. Take your time and money elsewhere if you have any expectation of good service.

Honest, service with integrity, excellent value. I brought my Suburban in to them to replace my battery as it wouldnt start during a freezing cold snap. They tested my battery, confirmed it was fully charged, inspected the connecting cables, repaired those instead. They didnt even charge me for the assessment and I drove out of their shop with a roaring engine and money in my wallet. Thank you, Firestone of Longmont - youre the best!

I have a lifetime alignment for both of my vehicles (Tahoe and Envoy) through Firestone. This location has been good so far. Had them do front brakes a few weeks ago. They even called to confirm the replacement since the pads still had some life to them. I didnt like the way it pulled braking, so I told them to replace them. Great choice. Vehicle feels so much better. They are always insanely busy, so you have to think that they do better than 2 star business or they would be out of business.

Ive been going to Firestone for several years and theyve done s good job on regular scheduled services. If you can get past the constant upsell on air filters and New tires they do descent work on basic services but they are not able to handle anything beyond tires, oil, wipers. If you are looking for a quality mechanic to rely on for good care, this is not the place as once you hit a real issue in your car, they are not capable of diagnosing the issue. Unfortunately I found this out to late and lost a lot of money listening to their advice. Dont make the same mistake. Change oil, yes. Need expert diagnosis on an issue, No!!!

Good service. Appointment time was honored and my vehicle was on the lift promptly and service completed in an acceptable amount of time. My issue is that the technician marked on the inspection sheet that he had inflated my tires to 35 PSI. I got home and looked at my diagnostics screen on my Tahoe to see that my tire pressure was relatively low (high twenties). I double checked with my pressure gauge and discovered my tire pressure had not been properly adjusted, but the tech annotated that he did. It’s lazy, unprofessional and potentially unsafe. What other corners are being cut? As a former Firestone technician, I know what the standards are and marking work as complete without finishing the job is unacceptable.

They stated they are booked solid for the next 4 days. Then why did they have the time available online and why did they wait a day to let me know?

Dropped off my 2009 Camry for an oil change, brake job and wheel alignment. Mechanic called my attention to minor leaking struts, but opted not to repair that just then. On check-out they signed me up for their lifetime alignment option automatically. I thought it was an OK option because I just had the tires replaced and the car is still in good overall condition. (Buyer beware: it seems like they will charge you for this lifetime alignment unless you explicitly tell them otherwise). On the overall, not a bad job with a reasonable price for the service.

They try but don’t quite hit the mark of Discount Tire and Valley Subaru of Longmont. If you go, deal with Gary, don’t bother with Fred. I stood there and watched Fred disrespect an obvious serviceman (in full dress) who accidentally provided his expired card instead of his replacement.Fred: The card you gave me was expired.Customer: I’m sorry, I mixed up my cards.Fred: [Completely serious as if he had no filter] Well when you get the new card, you should get rid of the old one.Customer and myself: [surprised]This was in addition to the issues I had with him being snotty and brushing me off as if my business didn’t matter. Twenty-one months ago, they did an alignment that because of a camber issue, the rear tires had to be replaced today. On top of that, all four tires I purchased from them were already cracking in the tread, so instead of an “I’m so sorry about that, let’s get those replaced.” I was met with a shrug from Fred and a “You should see what Michelin’s do in that time.” and push-back on replacements. They barely pro-rated me a new set and I had to fight to get that.I guess I just expected more empathy and understanding for the situation, being a customer that’s never brought them anything like this in the past and I haven’t cumulated any sort of track record. I wish I could write a better review, but I feel I’m already being generous.

I went in for an antifreeze check and found I was good for up to -34degrees. They brought to my attention that my oil was dark and low. The tag on the windshield put on in Houston had fallen and I had lost count of the mileage on that oil change. They also found another item that I will attend to later when I return for a pre-vacation road trip exam.

Took my Suburban in for an A/C recharge and $250 later got cool air blowing out of the vents measured by their laser temperature gun at 60 degrees which they informed me was not bad. Temperature at the vents should be more like 40 degrees especially after a full charge. The guys behind the desks have no idea what the service techs are doing, they just write em up and take payment. Would not recommend them as competent mechanics.

Consider yourself warned!Generally, when I go in for a simple oil change, I prefer for the establishment to actually empty the oil from my car and fill it with new oil. (Seems easy enough!) Bonus points if they use the right kind of oil.This location emptied my TRANSMISSION fluid and then without emptying the old oil, added 5.1 more quarts of oil to it. (Double whammy!).In case this has never happened to you--spoiler alert-- your transmission is gonna shake so hard and your car is going to run so bad you wont make it a block away.They initially said they were just going to refill it and there was nothing wrong with my car. Thanks to the kindness of strangers questioning the manager, Freds solution (and a sealed CVT transmission!) my car was ultimately towed to a dealership. **Pro tip #1: dont go here without a man to explain things to you. They will not bother explaining their mistakes to you if you are a woman. If you do go without a man to boss you around, dont worry, Fred will tell you to sit down. (How else would I have controlled my female hysteria?!)Still waiting to find out what the damage is to my car but at a minimum the dealership told me anything relating to my transmission in the future will no longer be covered by the 100k mile powertrain warranty. Did I mention my car had only 36k miles on it?! This is gonna look super on my Carfax!I hate to make the place sound all bad. They did get me in for a same day appointment, so thats something, right?! **Pro tip #2- make your appointments early in the day so that the rental car companies are still open when they have to tow your car to the dealer to fix their mistakes. As someone who had to Uber home and is sitting at home with no wheels, I can tell you this is key.

I paid $20 for them to reset my warning lights, they were still on when I left. The tech the day prior said that my tires were good and then they said the following day I NEED two new tires, but actually 4 cause my car is all wheel drive (which it isnt). Customer service there is VERY disappointing. They can keep the twenty bucks and Ill take my business elsewhere.

I talked to the front desk person and they said they wouldnt be able to look at it until Monday or Tuesday and I said bummer but thats fine. His customer service skills are exceptional!! He far exceeds my expectations in customer service, so when things arise that are unexpected, the issue is minimized due to his willingness to make it right and make the customer happy. Last visit waited over an hour to find that my car wouldnt be able to get looked at for another couple hours because of more work added to another car before mine after I double checked that my car would be able to get fixed if I made an appointment at the time I did. If you need work done find a mechanic this is a tire shop.

Ive had great experiences with other Firestone locations so, despite the many negative reviews here, I decided to give them a try for a simple alignment. First the old man told me that they dont work on lifted trucks (I have a simple and mild lift). I pressed him that the Lakewood location has always welcomed me in without hassle; he reluctantly agreed. I had a scheduled appointment with the shop yet it still took 50 minutes for them to even put the truck on a lift. I watched through the window as they took one look under my vehicle and walked away. It sat there for another 15 minutes without even being looked at! Its over an hour from my appointment by now and Id had enough. Asked for my keys back before these idiots had the chance to cause any damage.After this experience, I wouldnt trust these monkeys with a banana. Drive to Lakewood instead.

Had an appointment for 12:00 p.m. to get new tires- car didnt get done until 4 p.m.! I had previously mentioned that my daughter would need to wait, as she didnt have anyone to pick her up! I made the appointment a week in advance. Four hours of walking around and waiting!😡

Extremely disappointing service. Randell would not install a BMW OEM optional Winter tire on my wife’s X5, because the tire was a different size than the one that was currently on the car. I argued that this was a BMW OEM Winter tire (275/40-20) and was the same diameter and mounting rim width as the standard summer tire (315/35-20). Despite this, he continued to claim my warning light would go off because he installed a non-standard tire on another X5 previously and had an issue. He refused to install the tire because he didn’t want to deal with any issues I may have... then he told me to get a 315 winter tire and he would install it. He also stated he didn’t want to install the tire twice (once now, and if I have a problem with the OEM tire). I reminded him that his job was to install tires, and I would happily pay twice if necessary. He still refused.My wife waited for 3hrs, and was sent away, in snow, with summer tires installed and a set of OEM snow tires in the back seat. What a colossal disappointment.I will never use Firestone again... ever.

DO NOT GO HERE!I went in to get my tires looked at, and the guy at the desk said, We usually dont do this, but I can get you a FREE tire if you buy three. Well, there were thousands of signs posted all over the place saying just that same exact thing. Did he think I was illiterate or something?! Probably thought, Stupid brown chick! Watch this!! when I walked through the door.SUCH BLATANT DISHONEST...? Do you REALLY want someone like THAT working on your car? You come in for an oil change and leave with a broken engine and sand in your gas tank and a We usually dont do this, but we can get that sand out of your tank for a small fee of $400!!WATCH OUT!!! Be SMART!! Find an HONEST place to go and get what you need done.

I was so disappointed with my last three appointments with firestone in Longmont. I had taken it in for an oil change and they said I needed a brake job. I got it done but then when I got my car back there was a rattle in the rear of my car. I took my car back hoping to fix the problem three times, each time getting something fixed that cost around $300 but the rattle was still there every time. Finally the last time I took my car in I had made an appointment for them to look at the brakes (the noise went away when I put my foot in the brake), their manager Fred had my car for the full second weekend in a row and called to tell me I needed engine mounts! They never even looked at my brakes or had done what I had taken my car in for to begin with! I picked up my car and took it to a real dealership. They test drove it (I had told Firestone to do this many times but I dont think they did). They told me my brake pads had put on backwards!!!!! They fixed it for free and I was out of there in 30 minutes. I had been dealing with Firestone and this rattle for over 6 months!!! The worst part about it was I was telling their manger that it was the brakes and he was so rude and told me I was wrong! Thank you to Swedish motors for doing their job right!!!!!! I will NEVER TAKE MY CAR BACK TO FIRESTONE!! Im sad that this problem has turned out so negative because I have been taking my car to Firestone since I was 16 and this was the first awful experience Ive had... Thank you to those at Firestone who had treated me respectfully in the past!!

This place is a flat out joke! Took One of my vehicles here to have the oil changed now every time I call to make an “appointment” the reps always say they’re booked solid and it’ll be 2 days before they could get to my car! There’s no way this place is always booked and the techs a never willing to try and fit you in. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this “business” and take your vehicle elsewhere.

This Firestone is terrible! We brought in our van for a set of new tires and a tune up. We dropped the car off for our scheduled appointment on Friday afternoon and we were told it would be finished Saturday afternoon at the latest. We called to check in on the van on Saturday and were told they had not had a chance to look at it but that they would work on it that day. After waiting all day Saturday and Sunday we called to check in only to find out they had not even began to work on it. The van sat there for a full 48 hours! To make matters worse the receptionist was extremely rude and put me on hold with out even letting me know. All of a sudden I would be mid-sentence speaking to her and I would hear a click and start hearing hold music! This place has TERRIBLE customer service, they are all extremely rude and they put the blame on the customer when THEY can not get the work done. Save you self a lot of time and energy and go to another mechanic, one that will actually work on your vehicle and call you when they run into an issue.
