I recently bought a new Cat-Back exhaust for my 2019 Ram. I was planning to put it on myself, but got busy with work and my kids. Reached out to Romeros and talked to Chris on a Friday. He was able to get me in the upcoming Monday. They were able to get everything done in just a few hours and charged me just over 100 dollars. I was quoted 400+ everywhere else. Extremely happy working with them. They did an awesome job, were professional and overall friendly folks to work with. Would absolutely come back for anything else !

Romeros was recommended to me by people on reddit and by two other local auto shops that didnt work on mufflers themselves. My exhaust was loud and leaking, they took a quick look and explained thoroughly and clearly the issue I was having and the range of options and prices I had to get it fixed. The total when I paid was less than I expected it to be, which is rare for me and car work. My car was in and out quickly, they did a great job and its now the quietest its been in the time Ive owned it. Would definitely recommend.

Honest, Trustworthy, Professional and Top-notch Mechanics!!! When my trustworthy mechanic retired and closed his shop over a year ago, I thought, where am I going to find another good auto repair shop that wont up sell and charge for more than what needs to be done. Well, I found that place... Romeros Muffler and Auto Repair. I took my 2001 Forester to several other auto repair shops to have my muffler repaired and I was told that they didnt have a welder in their shop and would have to replace the entire cat-back. Then I came across Romeros... they had a welder in their shop and made the repair, as well as replaced the tailpipe for a small fraction of the price it would have cost elsewhere, saving me hundreds of dollars. Chris the owner and master mechanic is awesome and runs a top-notch shop. Even their hourly rate is less than other shops that I had looked into. I highly recommend Romeros!!! Great service! I was referred to Chris by the dealership where I purchased a used vehicle for a repair. The team at Romeros completed the repair and also fixed my windshield fluid sprayers...above and beyond what I brought the car in for. Seems like a small item, but it made my day to discover that my sprayers worked correctly!

Dont let the cover fool you they dont touch any make or model unless its an easy job and will charge a crazy price

From my previous experiences this is the best shop in the county. The prices and customer service Ive received here are hands down the best Ive seen around Boulder/Longmont. Chris has always treated me with respect and honesty which can be hard to come by with mechanics. Very personable and not in the business of ripping you off. Enterprise rent a car is next door so if itll take a day or two for repairs and you need to rent something it makes it super convenient. Only advice I have to give is if you need work done you may have to schedule a week or two ahead as this place can get extremely busy.

Have had nothing but great experiences here. Always forthright about what they are doing and how they do it. Sticks to his schedule every time, no matter what. I respect that. As an automotive shop owner I know how shops should handle themselves. Chris is doing it right. Thank you for helping us with the Jobs we are unable to perform. Its nice to have shops like this in town.

I would absolutely recommend Romero’s. It was fast and easy to make an appointment. I was given a cost estimate up front with no attempts to upsell anything. The moment I arrived at my appointment they got me going and it took half the time that I was quoted. The owner, Chris, is the friendliest guy ever. While you wait he’ll make sure you’re happy. The repair itself was exactly what I needed and it was done very well. If you’re trying to decide on a place to get a repair, Romero’s should be the clear choice.

Id like to give them 0 stars but Ill be nice and give them 5 even though they were unhelpful!! Their site says they do custom exhaust and they carry a ton of brands and yet they couldnt order any exhausts for me and then install (maybe because the set up I wanted was illegal or something, not sure), Id have to order and have them install and pay them labor. I was hoping to save money by having them order and install but if I order them myself, I could save myself money by installing it myself. Just seems odd to me.

The help Chris and his team provided sorting out replacing my catalytic converter was outstanding. They made sure to do the job right and make sure that I was completely satisfied. Its rare, in my experience, to find such strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Thanks Chris and Lucas. I really appreciate all that you did.

I was very happy with the experience. Im not super car savvy but they were very helpful. They not only told me what they were doing but explained and showed me everything. Ive had mechanics just tell me I need something. Romeros will prove it or give you the information to make the decision yourself

Chris was great to work with on my Dodge 2500 exhaust. Initial quick check before I left looked good. When I got home I took a closer look and saw it was a very neat, and solid job. Great clearances, routing and positioning, and the tailpipes were perfectly level to each other. They will definitely be doing future work for me.

Recommended by my neighbor...and for good reason! Great guys, reasonably priced, didnt try to sell me on doing extra work (which my car does need, lord knows!). One of the guys even came in on Saturday to get the work done ASAP. Thanks! Will definitely be back!

Not bad at all. I just showed up with a hole in my exhaust (very difficult place to access & in a bend) and they got right to work on it on a Friday nonetheless. I can say I got my moneys worth and fast at the very least

Romeros is wonderful!! Everytime I bring my car in they have it complete faster than any other auto shop i have been to. They are willing to work with you, whatever the circumstances. I tell all of my friends/family about them whenever they need something done. I recommend this company 10/10.

The muffler of my car fell completely off and one of the amazing gentlemen who works there spent an hour welding on a huge chunk of new pipe to reattach my muffler. When everything was said and done he shock my hand and told me to have a good day, that this one was on him. I was very impressed. This was about a year ago and my muffler is in perfect condition, hanging right where it should. I loved these guys!

They are an amazing family owned shop. They genuinely care about you and your car. They are affordable and honest. I recommend them to everyone. We are like family now

Chris and his shop did a great job installing a dual exhaust muffler, which included modifying the muffler and welding.

This is a fantastic place to get muffler or brake work done. They can pretty much do just about anything for your vehicle at a very good price and they will not rip you off. That is a rare find in the Auto industry. I love Romeros mufflers!

I was going to do an A+++ review this past winter and forgot, then happened to find their business card in my car the other day, and realized Id never posted the review that I meant to! Romeros exceeded my expectations in every respect. We found them with an old-school yellow pages search (boyfriend is technology challenged). He got a quote for a repair on the exhaust on my old Toyota where we could smell exhaust inside the car. He was quoted a reasonable price (cant remember exactly what) and I brought it in, didnt have to wait long, service was AWESOME -- quick and really courteous. Cant remember who it was who worked on my car, but GREAT people. The price was actually LOWER than what was quoted, even after letting me know it could be higher but not by much. In short, I was THRILLED and would recommend them to anyone needing muffler/exhaust work on their car. Im moving to Boulder but will still come here to Longmont for muffler service with you guys if I need it. Thanks!

Wonderful shop. Excellent service at a fraction of the price of other shops. It is hard to find a place that does good work and has good prices, but this is definitely the place.

These guys are wonderful. I have always worried that as a woman I would get overcharged for car repairs but it was my lucky day when I stopped in to ask if they would work on my window. These guys are really fair with pricing. I highly suggest them. I am happy to day Romeros is my go-to for here on out! Great people too.

I went to Romero’s after my car failed the emissions test due to high NOx. The limit was 1.5 and I had 2.7. Chris completed a diagnostics and informed me that I had two of my cats hollowed out. He was completely upfront about cost and very professional, and gave me a few options based on my situation. I decided to let him do the repair due to all the good reviews, and I was not disappointed. He charged me a very fair price, and did the work in the same day. I passed the emissions test with a 0.7 on NOx. I highly recommend Romero’s for any exhaust work.

Honest and friendly are the two words that best describe my experience there today. Id happily bring m car back to them for transmission services.

Would give six if I could, expected to go in spending a whole lot more money then I did. Even let them know that and could have easily been ripped off and still been satisfied. They ended up charging me $120 and seeing my situation, welded up my exhaust while I was there.

Fast, friendly service at a reasonable cost. These guys even rewelded my muffler for free, because the initial install was causing some rattling due to my odd exhaust pipe configuration. They stand behind their work.

Everytime i took my car in they were so honest in giving me a low cost fix to fixing it outright cost...i appreciate that.I had alot of trust in them.

They were friendly, and despite a massive snowstorm leaving them powerless and behind schedule, they still finished the full aluminized steel exhaust for my 53 on time. Good price and good work. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have a 2000 Nissan Xterra that had barely failed emissions. My mechanic quoted a price to replace my two catalytic converters from Nissan. I called around for a better price and was referred to Romeros. Chris was very helpful in helping me find out exactly the type of cats (Standard or California) I had and quoted a price for about a third of what my mechanic quoted. The work was done on a Wednesday, and I passed my emissions with flying colors on Thursday.On a side note, on Friday I noticed a grinding sound when I turned my steering wheel after pulling out of a driveway on Thursday evening. I called Chris at 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon (I do not live in Longmont) and he got me in by 4:00 pm and found that the brake line from the Master cylinder had popped loose from its retaining bracket. His tech just simply reattached it and its been fine ever since. I will definetly go back for any future emission or exhaust system needs and I willl refer Romeros to my friends and neighbors in the future.

Took care of the leaking exhaust when they put on 2 new cars, fixed my O 2 sensor and took care of the part cost as well!

Great exhaust shop. I priced around five different ships in the area and this one was one of the lowest. I decided to go with this shop bacause I am for supporting small business. I had two resonators taken out on my 2009 mazdaspeed3. The technician was knowlegable, and did a great job welding the straight pipes on. I would reccomend this shop to anyone looking to get their exhaust worked on and more!
