This was my first time visiting from out of town but I would definitely be a regular there if I lived nearby. Everyone was very courteous and friendly. Theyre very organized with their scheduling, everyone has a tip envelope for the nail technicians. I like that they have someone in house to keep the place clean and focus on the laundry. cant say enough good things about Helen who did my almond shaped acrylic and Diane who gave me a wonderful foot massage with my pedicure. I felt like a queen.Whenever Im in town I will be back💐

BEST NAIL SALON! I love this place. Have been coming for years. The owner is the sweetest and all the nail techs are super professional. This place is so clean and they always do such and awesome job.

So disappointed that Kiwi Nail Lounge is not following Covid Safety procedures. A customer was seated next to me and she wasnt required to wear a mask, which made me very uncomfortable and stressed. I asked my nail technician and she had the owner come over to ask the customer to put a mask on after 10 minutes of sitting next to me. The customer kept her nose out of her mask, which defeats the purpose of wearing it. Unfortunately the owner also couldnt keep her mask above her nose and she took off her mask multiple times as she walked around the salon. I have been coming here for years and I love the nail technicians. They are so kind and talented. But not making customers follow the rules is unacceptable and now I have to decide if I will return.

They dont do a bad job. My main complaint is that they dont really honor appointments. If a walk in shows up 5 minutes before your appointment, they take them. They overbook and dont care about the customer who actually made an appointment. They burned me twice and asked me to wait 15 minutes which turned into 30 before I walked out. The second time, I was on time only to be asked to wait again. I walked out. Never again. 1st time, shame on them, 2nd time, shame on me.

The technician is nice but my gel nails are just awful! The edges are not filled. They look so bad that I’m gonna have to get them redone. Very disappointed!

This is updated review I will attach old review screenshot with other photos.No no no no i will never go back ! And will never suggest this place to anyone. As i said in my previous review I did give another try, actually ended up giving them 3 try so here is the update: -I read the reviews and made an appointment, i did everything by the books but they so DID NOT !#1. My appointment was at 4pm I waited for 40 minuets to finally sit down.#2. During my wait time or even when I set down no one offered me at least water and no one was updating me why i had to wait for so long.#3. I asked for powder nail extensions, she said they do not have the color i wanted in powder ( still confused with this answer) and told me that acrylic tip extension was better and that it wont be difficult to remove it.#4. I had to ask over and over again to cut my cuticles she just pushed it back and that was it.#5. Before glueing the tip she just cut my nails and did not gave a form just started to glue the plastic tips.#6.overall nails looked thick and form was way more pointier than I asked. The photo shows that one week later nails already look pretty sad.2 weeks later I went back to just remove the gel nails and acrylic because it was falling apart - FALLING APART.#7. they soak my nails in acetone.#8. When she took another plastic nail and started to straight up scraping gel and acrylic from my nails and I saw my nails ripping, in total shock I asked them to explain the process - of course 0 response. And she had audacity while i m in hell because of what she is doing to say in my face that i will need to drink and use vitamins cause my nails are so thin.#9 once she was done with this surreal removal experience she said you are all done living me with acrylic residue on my nails and without foiling my nails to give them somewhat decent shape and look. When I asked for buffing she said it would cost me $27 to remove and buff. I really lost it there and i guess she felt it so she just gave my nail some kind of shape at list did not use any lotion or nourishing oil, that was it and charged me $10.All the pictures are here, judge for yourself but I would never recommend this place because I went through hell with them all 3 times.

This place does amazing work let me start bt saying this and the personal here are super nice however i made an appointment at 11:30 i showed up at 11:25 and was told to come back at 12 I agreed since i understand that sometimes business can run late;however, I showed up at 12 and was sat down to wait for a while with zero service at all by 12:20 they just talked to be about what i wanted which was just a pedicure and by 12:30 i was finally seen which is an annoying since they are pricey they should learn how to schedule people or lower there prices

I usually dont leave reviews, but I found this place and stepped in for my first wax ever (never waxed before) and I booked with Jasmine.Came in and Thuy was amazing. Really informative, so friendly and happy. She walked me through what to expect, who Jasmine was, the packages and products and the whole time she was funny and calming as I was nervous about my appointment.

This used to be the best best best salon Ive ever been to in my 20 years of having my nails done until the last time I went not only did they do a horrible job but argued with me about what I wanted and what they did!! Great, no frills nail salon. Very good technicians and the owner is very attentive to every guest...offering an array of beverages while you receive your service. Great background music. If you like the massage chairs, this isnt the place for you. Expect a nice living room, leather chair and a clean foot bowl but no massage chairs. They will get in and out and do great work. Have been a client for over 2 years.

I asked for a simple manicure. I had a certain way I wanted it done. The technician was rude. She didnt want to do the job. Everything was about speed. So the owner or manager gave me someone else and it was fine. I felt it wasnt about the work it was just about grinding out those numbers.

Kiwi nails is a nice, clean nail salon. I have had several different people do my nails there who have all been great. However, Gigi is my favorite. My only complaint is that if you get a manicure and a pedicure at the same time they work on both your hands and feet in the chair, which is a bit awkward. I prefer to relax and read when I get a pedicure, so I book my services separately. Otherwise, this place is great. Word of advise, call in advance for an appointment because they are always busy!

Ive been getting my nails done for close to 20 years and this is absolutely the best salon Ive ever been too comfortable beautiful and everyone absolutely every single person in the place does a good job my personal favorites Ti and Kory, but as I said there isnt one single person that does a less than perfect job. ENJOY!

I came into Long Beach from out of town and went into Kiwi Lounge for a gel pedicure and gel rebase/polish. The technicians were nice and I know they have long days but the service was pretty bad. They used a pillow on my lap to dry the gel polish while I was getting a luke warm water pedicure from what was essentially a bowl...it was all very ineffective and rushed. and on top of the bad service (I paid $40 for a pedicure that came with no massage and $40 for my nails, tipped them each $10), they charged my card and additional $87 for another customers service by accident while rushing to get everyone out the door. Not at all worth it and there is already a crack in the nail on my left middle finger. Truly truly poor service.

Clean place, friendly workers. The consistency of the work done is not there. This was the 2nd time I had to go back only a few days after having my nails done to get nails fixed.

I’m in town for business and found this place for my nails. What a great experience. My gel mani (Nicole) and pedi (Helen) looks great. The prices may be a little more money than in the area but it was definitely worth it. The salon, nail technicians, and service were great. Salon is clean, decor is calming, and the staff were so nice. I would recommend for sure. I don’t often write reviews but I couldn’t help it, they were great.

I specifically showed a picture to the worker they said they can do it. The worker is mid done on my nail then says they don’t know how to do the style I like then changes the look. If you don’t know how to do a certain look do not say You can. I wasted my money and time here on nails I didn’t like.

I brought my mom here to get a manicure and pedicure done and other than it being a small space. We were happy with the results of our nails. It was pricey but it was worth it consideri g that our nails lasted nearly a month in good condition.The one thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars was the fact they allowed a woman to bring her very large dog into the shop as she got her nails done. I felt bad for the dog because there was no space for him to sit or lie down.I may be come back in the future.

My husband does the plumbing for them and we reside in oceanside, the service is so great I make the drive .. I call it the resort for nails and feet good customer service

Good and friendly service. Appointments are recommended. Nice comfy chairs. Tucked along the side street of Roycott Avenue and 2nd Street next to Z pizza and adjacent to Rubios. Metered parking is available on the streets but be sure to keep an eye on the time because the meter-maids are on the prowl and very quick to cite you. Parking violations are about $50 .
