If you are planning to go with a friend/family member/ etc., think about joining twice. My mom and dad got a membership to themselves and my neighbors got one to themselves. They have been going to the gym for a while now and just today they got kicked out. Why, just because my neighbors were helping out my parents with their exercise. Yes, they are knowledgeable in exercise but they are not getting pained as a trainer. All four of them go workout together. If you are planning to walk in with a group of friends or family members, get ready to be taken out. They were simply working out! They were all in separate equipment. Unfortunately, all membership got canceled and we’re able to finish their workout.

Most gym members at this location, not all members have bad gym etiquette, they never re-rack what they used. In addition, management does a poor job of organizing the weights for the next business day. I only say this because the gym is brand new and Id like to keep that way. If you neglect things, they tend to build up. The Bellflower location (an older gym) seems to be on the ball with weights being organized and clean.

Great selection of equipment. This is primarily a couples gym, safe to attend with your wife without 200 dudes staring at her.

First time back in about a year due to covid. The gym is still the same and it still has great equipment. Another upside is that its quite impeccable. I felt safe and comfortable. If you live in the area I definitely recommend this gym.

Although they are advertised as a 24 hr gym, that has changed due to Covid. The equipment is always in tip top shape, the gym is very clean. My ONLY complaint is that, it is a CORNFIELD. Theres a bunch 58 meat heads that go there with a chip on their shoulder. Possibly die to their height challenges

Everything is nice and clean just a little complaint about people that go into the pool, most dont rinse before going in, a sign should be posted to remind them..

Update: Today I had to inform the front desk personnel TWICE about the same guy not wearing a mask/not wearing his mask properly. After the second time he should have been asked to leave but they took no action. ..... Esme and Joel are the best. I left my wedding ring there and they quickly found it for me so I could come and pick it up. Thanks!!

Its new and clean, lots of machines but the pool lacks equipment. Great for common gym use. Not as upscale as some of their competitors. They have one type of water barbell and nothing else. No flotation boards or anything for pool therapy. Wife goes to 24 hr fitness and hasnt dropped her membership. LA Fitness has less classes also, according to my wife. She uses both gyms. La fitness in a more convenient location for me and costs less. I guess you get what you pay for.😉

They will not let you take showers

This place went down hill fast. It finally opened up last week, and they STILL have a big cockroach problem in the pool. a couple just came floating by us. This wasnt the first time either. Then, they told us only 1 person in the pool at a time. No signs anywhere . When we talked to the GM, he had no idea the pool was even open .

Nice gym poor security and safety. No cameras in there parking lot so you will be a victim leave anything in sight. Stereo and subwoofers gone while parked directly in front of the gym. Yet no one seen anything. Was parked in the 1st clean air parking stall outside of the door. Happened on weekend between 10am-12pm.

Nothing special to see with the remodel, other than everything is clean and shinny. Same old LA Fitness.I do find it interesting that the central to the layout is the sales team desks and not the gym equipment. 🤦‍♂️Old layout was better.

Good gym

I always get a great workout there. I alternate days using weight machines and aerobic machines. Its best not to fatigue the muscles.

I live 5 mins away from this gym ...been going here for 11years . I loved the original gym machines they had before now its cheap useless machines. Its great they remodeled the gym but should have kept in mind of the original gym rats that have been coming here for many years ! Now I go to the gym in Carson because they have hardcore gorilla equipment. Wonder whos the idiot that bought these new and useless machines!

They are not enforcing the use of masks or social distancing in the weight area. I have talked to the front desk 3 times and they take it lightly. Many of the gym goers in the cardio and weight machines don’t wear the masks correctly. It’s sad that many will get sick if management does not act.

I love this gym, but recently I’ve gone to the pool and it’s very dirty. When you swim you can actually see all the dirt on the around the bottom of the pool. This pool needs to be drained and cleaned.

Congratulations the Gym is nice, good layout, brand new machines, many cardio machines, comfortable ambiance. A bad experience using the jacuzzi, I noticed there are no dress code notices or someone checking to see if people shower prior to going into the pool or jacuzzi. You can tell people jump right in the water after working out, not wearing a proper swimsuit, a person even went into the jacuzzi in underwear. This should be monitored closely.

Cleaner than most LA fitness Ive been to. Friendly staff not super busy so theres usually not a,wait for the machine you want. Pool and sauna are a nice added bonus. I just wish that after being a member 5 years that the rate could go down a little based on loyalty

The place looks great, the equipment layout has a better flow and more functional. Best of all I like the sauna being placed in the locker rooms for additional gender privacy.

I like it its beautiful. I enjoy my silver sneakers instructor Bristy she is the best. Im going to start aqua fit tomorrow

Second time back since the remodel and I gotta say it was pleasantly pretty empty for rush hour.

Ive been a LA fitness member for over 5 years, I just moved from LA to Lakewood and I was very happy to have a club near to my house. However as soon as I walked in for the first time to this LA fitness location I decided not be a LA fitness member anymore. Seriously, It definitely needs a upgrade. The men restroom is awful, the cardio equipment are completed covered with dust and dirty. Honestly this place is nasty. I dont think that LA fitness member deserve to have a club in that condition. In fact, by the time you are reading this review I will have canceled my membership and switched it to 24 hours fitness. I recently visited that club and it is a lot better then. Its actually a little bit more expensive then LA fitness but for who was paying $39,00 monthly for a regular membership at LA fitness $5 dollars extra it will definitely make me more motivated to keep my goals. In addition, that 24hr fitness is a Super-Sport club which will give you better service and a cleaner environment. Thats is what I expect. Thank you all, and I hope you keep yourself aware of that place.

Nice newly remodeled gym with a pool and sauna. They have an abundance of good equipment and the members were very polite.

Brand new facility, but they took away changing rooms in womens locker. Bathroom and shower areas are smaller. Cleaner, but shower stall could be better

Convenient neighborhood gym has everything you need. Didnt get 5 stars because they dont offer towels and the place is on the smaller side. The space gives a warehouse type of feel.

Old building, but a good amount of equipment. Pool, sauna, hot tub, were clean. I dont know if people are looking for a place to hang out and socialize or to work out, but I had a good peaceful workout, and a few nice conversations around the pool. Only complaint the dumbbells and weight bars were out of order and left around..

As soon as I walked in the door and asked for a tour of the gym I was subjected to weird, aggressively rude employees. Its a shame because the place looks pretty nice. Lets just say that they probably have syringe disposal units in the restrooms that the employees take full advantage of (and terrible hiring standards).

This LA Fitness is awesome! They recently renovated the entire place so all the equipment is new and well maintained. Parking is usually never an issue as they share a complex with only a few other businesses. The only thing I wish this gym had was a basketball court. Not too big of a deal as the LA Fitness in Cerritos (10 mins away) has a court I can use. I also wish they stayed open a bit later (they close at 11 pm Mon-Thur, 10 pm Friday, 8 pm on weekends) as I came from an LA fitness that was open until midnight on weekdays. Other than that, everything else in this gym is awesome!

Cool gym, almost never crowded. The only 2 things I dislike about it are: 1) I dont know why the hell the staff or people close the doors (they have no handle) to enter to the pool/sauna section. You have to wait until someone gets out or ask someone to open the door for you. 2) Some machines are too old and need to be repaired. Other than that its good.

The gym is great looks clean has plenty of machines but the kids club has a full capacity of 15 kids at a time. So we pay extra for kids clubs and its not guaranteed they can see them if theyre a full capacity limit

I’ve been coming to this gym since 2009, and I love it, but after going to crunch fitness for a week on my friend’s guest pass, I realized how outdated this gym is. The gym needs brand new treadmills. The treadmills they have make a ton of noise and some of em are inclined indefinitely. The amount of weights are limited for each category. There’s no shoulder battle ropes. I love this gym I really do, but in terms of quality, the gym needs new machines and more of the new equipment.

This place need new equipment and new machines. The equipment are too old and rusty. The gym itself needs a whole new update. Out of all LA fitness gym, this one is dirty and old. All others gyms have better equipment and cleaner,newer,updated weight machines. The cable machine only have one rope lol

Everything is new and working good, enough weights to work with and enough floor matts to stretch or do your ab workouts my only complain is they close at 11pm wished they closed at 12am gives people more time to workout if they get out at 9 or 10pm from work

Nice place, but Just because I didnt sign up for what they want, they didnt give free pass.

The lighting and equipment has improved but they TOTALLY missed the mark when it comes to deadlifts. They also have 1 less inclined bench press than before. The cable machines are way too close together. Very awkward workout over there when its crowded.The music is still as horrible as before if not more. Nothing makes you want to lift more weight than an Ariana Grande song.

I never came before the remodel but its pretty decent in size. This one, compared to other locations Ive been to, seems to emphasize cardio machines and free weights which is what I go for anyways. They dont have a basketball court or any of the racket ball rooms so dont expect those amenities. Sadly, they also dont have the juice bar which kind of sucks when you crave a protein shake after a workout. The locker room is the biggest Ive been into but they do have less showers as well.

Not going to lie it is not the best of LA Fitness. Not terrible, but I dont like the lighting, the furnishings and fixtures arent the most modern, Open showers are ridiculous.... No privacy, Weight vary is acceptable. Its an average gym for a huge company. No hate though just is what it is.

The environment isnt bad, the weights and machines are really old and rusty, but a lot of people like the old school feel of it all. And there have been a couple of car break-ins, so best to not leave valuables in the car.

Gym still not open. Had an original opening date of December 2018 (since being closed as of July 2018) then pushed back to February 18, 2019 now its been pushed back to April 1, 2019. How many times are you going to do this? How many times are you going to inconvenience your still paying customers this way? I work roughly 70 hours a week and I dont have time to drive across the city to the next nearest gym. I will be calling corporate to get some type of credit because they waste no time deducting my monthly dues out of my bank account ON TIME yet they cant open the gym ON TIME.4/3/19: Still NOT open. WTF is going on? This is really annoying. Plenty of other gyms to chose from and Im seriously thinking of cancelling my membership. Sick of waiting for you all.

Update your Google info. The gym is listed as open, but is closed for construction. Drove here to lift close to work, when could have driven somewhere else.

Several people have had their windows busted and things stolen including myself. No cameras inside or outside when this was LA Fitness

This location is not very clean, I think so it is kind low maintenance in comparison to other fitness around however the associate are friendly and you can ask for help and they respond, the Zumba class is nice

Good hours, a few broken machines, but they service then and have otherwise good facilities. Gets the job done. I usually run on the treadmill and a bit of weight machines. Friendly staff and parking is always available.

Nice quiet gym where the unfit person wont fell self conscious. Nice mix of people there at varying degrees of fitness. The personal trainers seem to really know their stuff.

Dont be suprised if the yoga instructor tells you to leave the room when your warming up or stretching in your own corner he said Im going to ask you to leave, its dictracting for others If you ever see him this whitetrash mofo in the yoga class just be prepared to be forced to leave.

I like this gym but i just hate the fact that. Why the gym cleaning employees has to clean, mop, and so-on and so-on during the time everyone is at the gym trying to get their workout on or in. Especially around 5pm-8pm, when everyone coming in off of work and just to get it in. Suggestions here, what about cleaning on the time where its not rush hour. Just saying.

Olympic bars are bent and requesting to change channels on the TV is unheard of. I have been told multiple reasons why they cannot but they can put fifa on 🤔.

Dont waste your money I paid for personal trainer never received one always something never got my money back for the service that wasnt given had to cancel member ship and bank cards just for them to stop taking the personal trainers fee out my account If I could have it wouldve gotten -5 stars from me but you have to give 1 to give a review
