I Love Mr. Kim! He runs a Good shop. Ive been going here for many years now and still get my cars Serviced by him even though I moved 100 miles away from him now. Hes that guy who you Can Trust not to take advantage of you just because. He always gives me a fair Affordable price (Ive compared🀭) and will always suggest little ways to save me even more money even though I drive a Mercedes.I Trust Mr. Kim! His mechanics are Awesome too. They are all connected with Mr. Kim.I totally Recommend this Auto Repair and Body shop. Just like a good friend recommended it to me over 20 years ago.I would give them 20 ⭐s if I could...Thanks Mr. KimWith All My Sincerity,Jackee Turks Love❀

I been coming here for last 20years. Kim is my go to for auto repairs and all my smog checks. He always takes care of my.family vehicles. This time he Service my 2008 lexus rx400h hybrid. New brakes and struts all the way around. Rides like a champ. The struts seem to have raised the ride height of the vehicle. Just something I noticed is all. And it defintely.hits the dips and bumps with much better quiet and control .

Ive known Kim for a long time. He has taken care of me and lets me know the actual truth about my car problems without sugar coating them to make a bigger buck. His prices are reasonable too. He is a good man. Stays with you until the very end and puts you in capable mechanic hands. All the guys working for him are thoroughly knowledgeable. I highly recommend Kim and his auto because once you grow on him he will grow on you and you will never go anywhere else.

Beware of Kims Auto Repair! They switched parts off my car several times because they never repaired my car properly, so that I would need to return my car for additional repairs. Leaving your car over night or for the whole day gives them the opportunity to switch your good parts for some of their used worn parts taken from similar cars. You may get a low estimate but this is so they have your car in their posession for removing parts they think you wont notice. Problem is I did notice but have been in and out of Hospital, so have not been able to file complaint reports. I now want to warn the public of their dishonest tactics. Money is scarce these days but they dont have your interest at heart. Only their greed on how to save money by switching other cars old parts for your good parts. Then they put your parts on other cars and charge that owner for new parts. Your car now has been returned to you and youre unaware you are stuck with old parts in your car. Please go to another Auto Repair Shop. Go to a shop that doesnt have multiple cars parked everywhere. Go to a shop which can be seen in the open and is in a nice area. Talk to AAA towing for a reference. Protect your car. I have to sell my car or have it junked because I trusted a dishonest repair garage. Their estimate was lower and now I suffer without a car. No transportation for Doctor Appointments or market for groceries. I am A senior taken advantage of by Kims Auto Repair on E. Anaheim in Long Beach, ca. They have caused my family much stress and unhappiness. Stranded in rainy weather and the summers hot temperatures.

Took a 2002 Prius hybrid with the triangle of death lights on. Two casual repair guys just said that it was the main battery. Took it to Kims and he was able to diagnose the exhaust fan for the hybrid battery had stopped working. He replaced it and the prius is running fine. Would highly recommend.

I have rewritten parts because I hadnt proof read what I typed. I am an 80 year old female cancer survivor trying to do the right thing. I have tried several times to send Yelp but I get cut off. Dont go to Kims Auto Reair locateda1732 E. Anaheim in Long Beach, Ca. if you are a Senior, a woman or man who dont know about cars, believe me, Kims Repair shop wont be to your advantage. After many trips for my stalling 1987 Acura Integra L S repaired my car problem was never solved. First trip I paid to have a different rebuilt Alternator installed. I ended up after that repair with a leaking Power Steering Pressure hose & the driver window regulator broken so window cant be rolled up or down. After 3 months car stalling happen again, so took car back to Kims. I asked him to also check the leaking power steering hose. He said alternator was bad so asked him to repair again.. I went to pick up car & Kim hadnt repaired power steering problem. He said we needed a new Rack & Pinion, which would cost $800, so we paid for alternator repair & left. Soon after that the Catayric converter started heating causng the interior center console & gear shift to get hot & you could smell fumes. A mechanic neighbor told us that the spark plug wires were short and connected wrong but we had them replaced elsewhere three monhs prior without any problems. With valve cover being different this could be why wires were short. Returned to Kims & I asked Kim about the Valve cover being different and he said it was the same, but it wasnt. So again we were told the alternator was fauty & needed another one. When we arrived to pick up Acura Kim had the trunk open & told my daughter he was checking the back light which had not been a problem. We paid for the work but when leaving a mechanic waved a rubber belt at us.They hadnt replaced the FAN belt when they worked on alternator. We also noticed small screws on the floor under glove compartment. Glove compartment has access to air conditioning FAN switch. Well, .we had enough of previous poor service & when leaving the Rack & Pinion was making noise when turning steering wheel in either direction. Hadnt made noise before KIms last repair. Now the trunk auto lift doesnt work & the FAN doesnt work & the car which only ran 20 minutes and stalled doesnt start. We had another mechanic look at problems to verify our suspicions. So, after going to this Kims Auto Repair, we now have new multiple problems. Have a driver broken window reguator, a rusty Catalyric converter, a noisy rack and pinion, leaking power steering pump, no fan to find out if heater was damaged or AC works. The valve cover is not the original dark gray but a light gray which has a leaking seal. Pages from original manual, which was in the glove compartment. OUR Acura Integra LS is a Classic collectible 1987 Acura integra LS hatchback with less than 100,000 miles. But after going to Kims for car stalling, we, now, have a car that wont start nor run. Everything I have stated is the truth. If we werent honest we would never have returned to Kims Auto Repair. We trusted him.. Take your fine running vehicle to a reputable repair shop. Maybe a shop which only handles your particular vehicle. I will never return to Kims Auto Repair on Anaheim in Long Beach, ca. Please believe me. Save your hard earn money and protect your automobiles. God Bless every hard working individual and all seniors..

I was trusting of Kim because he had worked on all of my families car. So when I bought a used car and ran into engine trouble Kim was the first person I came to. He charged me 1700 to fix my head gaskets and smog, so I paid him and went about my weekly business and picked my car up expecting it to be running wonderfully. Few days later the check engine light was back on so I took it back to Kim, he told me it was because the gas cap wasnt on tightly cleared the codes and sent me on my way. So I assumed from then on when the check engine light came on it was the gas cap. Three months later my car was running rough so I assumed it was time for a tune up. I got a tune up and went about my way. Now my car was running even more horrible so I took it back to kim this time he told me it was the intake manifold gasket, he charged 600 I paid him, he called a few days later saying the car was ready. By the end up the next day I was stranded over night because the car quit on me and would not start. The next day I took it back to him to fix so this time he said it was the lifters at this time I was extremely frustrated. So fast forward to present day I using this new mechanic and everything that was supposedly fixed by Kim, I being told was never touch. I have been unknowingly driving my car into the ground trusting this man. Do yourself a favor, dont try and save a few bucks because if he think you dont know about cars he will rip you off. He will fake it until you call him out, he uses products such as lucas and engine seal products to trick you. Ladies/gentlemen please do not trust this place after paying him and renting cars I spent over 2,900 and my car still doesnt run.

I paid $410.00 for an alternator, and had to miss work to get another one installed because the first one didnt work and I missed an entire day of work...yesterday I am getting gas and guess what my car didnt start. I also forgot to mention that I also got a starter $110.00 because I was told that I needed, one oh and I bought a new battery. So why would my car start with a jump but not hold a charge with the battery? I am not happy I missed church, and will most likely miss work again☹️
