Todd & crew are the best. We had a major fuel system issue on our 2000 Ford V10 RV that Worthington Ford made worse. Todd diagnosed the real issues immediately, took our out-of-production fuel tank to Stockton, CA to be media blasted and ceramic coated AND solved the remaining problems. They are honest, hard-working, problem solvers. Would highly recommend for your auto repair needs.

I am a full time RVer, living in my 1988 camper. After reading a lot of reviews I have decided to go to Gretchens to do a check up for my 3 month trip to Mexico. I couldnt be happier considering I just got out of there with ALL my problems fixed. Kenny, the best mechanic that I have worked with in the last years was very friendly, very smart, and very patient. He explained everything he was doing all the time. When you have an old camper most mechanic dont get very happy on that fact that they have to work on your car, but here t Gretchens they were super friendly. Got there at 8am, they started working on the camper at 9am, I got out of there 11h30. Price was very reasonable. I am very happy.

I called because my tire pressure light went on. I went to 76 to put air in the tire and noticed a screw in the tire. I called Gretchens since it is a block from my house, the guy on the phone said bring it by. His dad fixed it in moments for free. I talked to him about my tires and car...asking if they do oil changed on Mercedes- they do. Mercedes told me I needed new tires. They said I dont. Family owned local business you can trust? Doesnt get any better

Dont ever take your boat there. Charged me over $2,000 and still has not fixed the oil leak. Charged for fixing risers, had it looked at by someone else, it wasnt fixed either. I put a brand new battery in it and he accuses me of not bringing the boat there with one. Very unsavory businessman. Doesnt monitor his workers to confirm they ACTUALLY did the job. Just awful service.

Took my sons Subaru Impreza to Todd and his crew. It had a major oil leak. The work was flawless and the best price in town.

Great service took my car there for an oil change and needed a few other minor things done. They suggested some maintenance things that needed done without any pressure. Quick and affordable. Great place.

I had some repair done on my boat by them, was charged for it, and now have to pay someone else to fix. Quite disappointed in service. Delivered boat with a battery, they said we did not. Said they repaired something only to find out it was not done but was charged for it. Extremely disappointed, unfortunate they are dishonest, trusted them.

I was referred by a good friend and all I can say is they have excellent service. Always available to get me in and always done with what I need in a timely manner. Ive been twice now.. The first time I got flowers and the second I got a bottle of wine. I dont know and have never known any mechanic shop to have that kind service to anyone. ;)

9/28/2018 update- was told by yelp that review was removed. They most likely paid yelp to remove negative reviews. Never once did they try to reach out to me to apologize. I would stay away from Gretchen’s.They told me boat was ready and that I could pick it up in the morning and that they would park it outside with our lock in it so we can take it. Paid and came back the next day they forgot to disconnect the boat from their truck and we weren’t able to take the boat. Called the one number they have and it’s the shop phone. Looked at the hours of operation and they are closed on the weekends and it’s Saturday. Paid $500 for alternator change which is pretty pricy and they have no accountability. We have kids in the truck ready to go but no access to our boat probably because these employees rushed out last night (Friday night) not thinking about their duties. Now they have inconvenience our plans for the weekend. This is the kind of operation they ar

Expensive and unnecessary extra charges found

If you’re in Long Beach, don’t go to Gretchen’s... Owner is never around, the employees cuss each other out in front of customers and they break parts putting them on. I recommend going to H & J. I saved so much money going to that shop in Stanton! I hope someone in Long Beach sees this... this is a warning for you!

Have been a customer for years, and while they might not be the cheapest shop in the area you know that theyre always honest and they get the work done. Compared to the dealerships, who generally will overcharge you and do work that doesnt need to be done I would take any my cars to Gretchens any day of the week.
