I’ve been getting my tires here for years. I have a Lexus. One of my tires at the dealership is over $300. The prices are much better here, for the same service. I especially like the customer service, Jesse is great! The shop has local mechanic feels, and I trust the guys here. It’s nothing fancy, in fact, their wait room can really use some love, but the materials and service provided are solid.

Service was awesome and quick. Everyone was courteous and professional. I was in for a flat tire that due to my lack of maintenance had nothing wrong with it just lost air over the years. The best part was they didn’t charge me a thing. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Jesse went above and beyond my expectations. He is very honest and transparent about the product and services. The technician who repaired my tire is very friendly and courteous as well. I will bring my other car for future repairs and will recommend them to my friends and acquaintances.

Counterman was a car fanatic that knows his stuff. Was talking my son in for his first time tire purchase. The help was useful and informed without any high pressure or rush/rush involved. No upsell was even attempted, just straight up informed options laid out.

Its extremely hard to find a place that will be honest with you and that wants you to make the best decision on your car, even if that decision is to look at other options (and then on top of that, not charge you anything for looking at it and letting you know). Needed alignment before road trip. Last minute on memorial day. Was seen immediately. No appt needed. They did a great job. Like a whole new truck. Drives great. They were fast also. I dont often do reviews but i felt need to because the service was exceptional.

Thd guys were very well groomed and professional.All the guys.. i asked questions about this or that..explained things very well. The machanic .showed me and explained.i aprieciated that very much..he was very informative!My machanic reasured and updated me regularly.( wish i knew his name so i could mention it here) but he worked hard!The manager Jessie was super nice and focused on his job.My machanic spotted a problem in my wheel well with the controller arms ...kinda important for the safety of my car.Im disabled and need a safe car)All my questions were answered ..i learned some things i simply did not know. Like how often to check my tires. And things my dad always took care of untill he passed.Anyway I chose to wait but was offered a ride home.Carlos was a perfect gentalman all the guys were great . Not wasteing time...very focused great crew of young gentalmen who know thier stuff. Helping me avoid greater expenses down the road.

Had a great experience working with George. Very upfront and clear in the phone. Reasonable prices. Same in person! Was right on time and did more than I expected with installing my tire sensors, rotating, etc. it’s not a fancy shop but the service is all they matters. Would definitely recommend!

The only thing I can tell you this place was outstanding I looked online for tires and pretty much didnt have a lot of money just saw their website did a little calculations of how much it would cost us about $200 going to store expecting to pay like $500 guy there I will update his names cuz its on my receipt and hook me up gave me one free tire buy three I let there be in 275 plus tax wow unbelievable thank you guys

Tires took more than twice as long as their estimate to install, and they tried to convince me that I had leaky shocks that need replacing. My shocks are fine. Good prices, but dont trust them.

Patch my tire for free and they were fast

I have been taking my car here for years. They are fast and affordable. I’ve had oil changes, minor maintenance, and battery issues taken care of. One time they fixed a flat for me for free.

Only had a couple hours before an appointment, they took that into account and rushed my car through due to a flat tire. Great team and very professional.

I came to American Tire because I needed new tires like, 2 months ago. I chose American because online, they had tires for my car that were $39. Americas Tires, had tires for $47, so American Tire was the pick. When I got to American, they no longer had the tires that were online for $39. I was frustrated because, the next tire available was $47. I could have simply went to Americas, which was closer with me driving on a completely flat tire. As frustrating as it was, George was great. Even though it was not his fault, because he is not responsible for the website, he was very apologetic, and super helpful. They had a special of buy 3 tires, get 1 free. George had to order my tires, which took, maybe about an hour to come, and after that, maybe 45 minutes to install my tires. With George being the only person up front, and all technicians busy with a line of cars, I still did not wait too long. I was also informed about my brakes needing to be replaced by one of the technicians working on my car. He brought me back and showed me. As annoyed as I was that there was something else needed to fixed on my car, it was neither George, not the technicians fault. I appreciate them for helping me, and I will most likely return for my brakes.

I went to this Long Beach location this morning and needed service for two front tires on a fleet vehicle. They do accept our element card. There were 3 open bays and a worker approached me and looked at the tires and explained that they would not be able to get approval from the people at element because it was the weekend and they are closed and couldnt get approval and I would have to return on Monday to get service. So I went to Big O tires on PCH and Orange and got service there quick WITH approval from element. Looks like American Tire Depot has someone there who doesnt like to work and get paid per hour. Anyway because of this experience I will not be back at this location with a fleet vehicle, my personal vehicle or give them any referrals. Please check your staff.

I had a big nail on one of my tires and needed it replaced ASAP, the dealership didn’t have my model in stock so I called two other places prior to calling this location in Long Beach. George was awesome and had great customer service skills, he was able to order the tire for me the same day and I was able to have it installed same day. My needs were met and their timing was excellent, definitely recommend this tire shop !

I have to say about this Thor speaks volumes theyve always treated me with the utmost respect and has always been knowledgeable and letting me know about my car...I initially have my first car with the store and time after time I was so stubborn to put so much money into it when it finally became Time to Say Goodbye they gave me advice on which new car to buy because of them..Hands down I dont trust anybody else with my car...🙌🏽

Overall great experience here. Even though I had came in 30 minutes before close. Which I don’t recommend for anyone because in this type of business you have to expect they are wrapping the day up and are ready to go home. Regardless of the time crunch the manager checked me in. And give me the best option I needed for my situation. The service technician immediately worked on my car and got me out of there as soon as possible.

Considering the “new normal” I’d say American Tire Depot has been following the rules as much as anyone can. George was professional and saw to it that I’d have my new tires and alignment in a little over an hour. The mechanics were very kind and friendly. I would recommend someone coming for new tires at affordable prices any day.

Not convinced they are the best. I got new rotors, new brakes, and new tires last year ($1200). I had to get a new set of rotors and brakes 7months ago. Quality sucks. The only reason I am back is because its free and I called with them saying bring it on in to patch a tire, but had to wait over an hour for them to switch out the tire. 2guys working in the bays. If the manager was so great he would be out in the bays, slow traffic at 6pm. 2girls walked in after me and there car was moved first. Cmon MGMT team .

I had 2 tires in need of repair. By the time I got to the shop they were very close to closing and I was kindly referred to another tire shop in the area with longer hours. While I was still there, I had to add air to my tires before driving further and I was using my mini portable air compressor from the trunk of my car. One of the mechanics came over and said they cleared a spot for my car and told me to pull in to the garage. I was surprised and impressed by their polite manner in providing me service when they didn’t have to. But this kindness didn’t end with that. They didn’t even charge me when they were finished. Solid group of gentlemen at the Long Beach Blvd. shop. Thanks so much!

Needed a new set of tires ASAP. The Long Beach Blvd location got me in and out in less than 90 minutes, and also did a thorough check of the car and alerted me to a few other items that needed attention. With all the other services they offer Ill be sure to check them out again.

This place rocks! If I could give 10 stars, I would. Today was my 3rd tire issue in as many years, and as in the past, they exceeded expectations. Eddie was personable, honest, and fast. They reminded me of warranty coverage I’d forgotten about, verified my issue, offered an alternate fix, yet still provided the solution preferred by the customer. Above board! And did I say fast? On a busy Sat, I was done in a *half hour*. I’m *really* glad this business is here, and hope they never close. Wow!

Hannibal was my mechanic and he was extremely informative and helpful in physically showing me what he found with my car. And the man who helped me at the counter was very nice and made sure I got the discounts I needed. It was my first time there and I will definitely be back if I ever need to again. Thanks guys!

I called various oil change businesses near downtown LB and this place was by far the most economical ($19 for conventional oil change plus tax) and free tire rotation. Other places were charging $43-45 bucks for a conventional oil change and $25 for a tire rotation. The staff is friendly. I will definitely come back for my next oil change.

There is nothing better than knowing you’re dealing with honest people in the car repair business. I don’t know anything about cars. I took my car in for a flat and they called and told me I had bigger issues. I expected an upsell and all kinds of things I didn’t need. Instead they told me here is what you have to do, here is what you can do, here’s what we recommend you doing later but don’t have to spend money now on (when is the last time a business told you not to spend money???) and here is what other people would charge you for, but you really don’t actually need with your car. I ran their suggestions by a close family mechanic friend from out of state and he said: everything they told you is spot on. I’d keep taking my business there. So I will!
