I have been a student here for about 3 years now and I love this place. This is very much a traditional martial arts school that focuses on discipline, building confidence and self defense. I would call Master Chang a true master of the art. The students are all friendly. The black belts are very knowledgeable and friendly.I would recommend Changs Hapkido to anyone looking join martial arts for self defense or just a fun way to get or stay in shape.

Went to the Naperville location for years in the early 90s. Best learning environment you would wish for. No macho BS or egos here. Master Change still moves like lightning since I saw him back in 1991. I wish I could still and I almost half his age. He teaches peaceful approaches but he will give you the tools you will never forget. Unlike most places his technique is the best through repetition. So if you defend against a punch over and over again...... you simply react without hesitation and look down and think. That was cool lol. Even all these years later I still remember most of what I learned. If you want your child to learn how to control their emotions and master themselves. There is no one better than Master Chang and my former teacher Mr. John Considine. This is more expensive than most schools but well worth it in my opinion.

Great martial art place, Master Chang and Master Austria are great teachers. Also wonderful place for kids
