Earth to LA Fitness people are moving on with lift and exercising freedom of choice on whether or not to wear a mask. Hard to believe this location is still trying to make everyone wear a mask. Good to see it wasnt working as about 50% of the people decided enough is enough and said no to masks.

Very nice club with new equipment. Friendly staff, and members. After being a member of my old gym for 20 years I quit after Covid shut downs last year. Very happy with my decision to join Esporta.

Overall I think that for my first time being at LA- Fitness had such a nice environment and workout space. I totally enjoyed it and cannot wait to go back there again. I would totally suggest this place to others.

If you want a quality facility to comfortably workout- this is it! Evelyn and her team are the absolute best and provide a great experience. There is no better, cleaner gym in the area.

The amenities like steam and sauna do not work for months and management simply does not care. If you try to tell them at the front desk, they argue and pick a fight with customers. Do not go to this place. Work out in your basement. You would be better off.

I got a visitors pass here and was very satisfied with my short visit to this gym. All this facilitates are brand new and some dont even look like theyve ever been used at all.Theres a lot of equipment to choose from, many classes offered, along with a pool and sauna. The sales people are a little pushy but thats understandable. Definitely will try and get a long term membership here soon.

Last year I visited LA Fitness in Lombard, IL. A manager (he still works there, i just dont know his name) gave me an overview of everything in the facility. After having a horrible experience with Xsport, LA Fitness looked better. I told the manager I would come back with two of my friends to sign up for a regular membership and personal training sessions. I kept my word and brought my friends with me. We were told that each personal training session would be $50/hour. We signed up for 3 times a week program for 6 months. From the first day, we were given only half hour for the personal training session. We went to the guy who sold us the sessions. I think his name was Rocco. He said even though its called an hour session, in reality we train with the trainer for half hour and the other half ourselves. That was not what we were told at the beginning. Matter fact, there was no conversation about the 1st or 2nd half of the sessions. I was really angry but my friends calmed me down. They said wherever we go, we may have to face some kind of rip off challenge. So, we agreed to pay $50 for half hour session even though our contract had clearly said one hour session. Right before our 6 months contract ended, I told the manager we wouldnt renew the contract. He said it was ok and he would cancel it after it ended. He didnt say anything about filling out a form of cancellation. After a month I saw $660 charge from LA Fitness and realized that he didnt cancel it or he started a new contract without our permission. I talked to the manager, gave him a piece of mind but he didnt care. Yes, he did cancel it eventually. But when I asked him about a refund for $660 he said he would escalate my case to their corporate office. I have been waiting for somebody from their corporate to resolve my case but havent heard anything from them yet. It has been 2 months. 2-3 weeks ago the manager said somebody from their corporate would call me. I have been waiting for them since then. Overall, most fitness clubs have one thing in common - wherever you go rip off scheme is pretty much the same. I think it evolves from their corporate office. Then they train their staff how to execute the rip off mission. So far, I think the staff is doing pretty good job. I bet they get juicy bonuses for winning a competition called WHO CAN RIP OFF THE MOST. Dear LA Fitness corporate, please make sure to spare some of your bonuses with your manager at your Lombard, IL location because he is doing a fantastic job there. I hope my review will wake you guys up little bit. Maybe you guys still have a decent honest person working somewhere in your office who cares about his/her customers. But who knows.

This Lombard LA Fitness is by far my favorite of the ones I have visited.It is one large open space on only one level. The best part about this LA Fitness is the management. They ensure weights are always picked up and that plates are not left on machines. They also make sure exercises are being done in the area designated for that particular exercise.For instance my main gym is the Signature Club on Washington Street and Michigan. At that gym you will have guys people doing deadlifts or other exercises anywhere in the gym.In Lombard they direct people to the heavy duty lifting platform for the exercises for which it was designed. Its nice not to have to dodge barbells while walking through the gym.The place is also very clean.The locker room is well kept and they have a modern sauna and steam as well as a Whirlpool right in the locker room area.The best feature so far is that it is never that crowded.That will change over time but for now it was a pleasure to workout in a gym were you do not have to wait for every machine or piece of cardio equipment.People also tend to keep to themselves and there is not a lot of chitchat going on which is a welcome change.

One of the best gyms that offer different alternatives to recreate and relax. That is why I will never change it. LA Fitness Signature, offers classes of HIT, the best to burn calories, high intensity exercises. This place has jacuzi, sauna, swimming pool and an infinity of weights and cardio area. In my opinion if you want to invest in your body and health, and change your lifestyle, become a member, that is if you keep firm.

Terrible experience. Got guest pass online and they told me I can not use it, I need to call 24 hours before showing and they are not a LA Fitness anymore. Completely different information than on their website

The best gym. Has a lot of equipments, swimming pool is neat although the sauna and lockers are not accessible now. But overall the ambience is nice and very clean

When we bought family membership after paying -$200 in fees we were told they would remain open 24-7 but until today they have limited timings. I was at the gym at 6am today and couldn’t believe they don’t open until 8am, are you kidding me? Height of deception and poor service.

I LOVE this gym so so much. Its all new and very very clean, and the staff is absolutely amazing and makes you feel so welcome! Special thanks to Justin, Melanie, and Sayed for going above and beyond to get me started towards my goals :) I 100% recommend this gym, the equipment and service is unmatched.

Worst experience ever . My friend invited me to come and check this gym, he got me guest pass an i went there. At the front desk they told me i got two options either to pay for the day or sign up, because of the COVID-19 they can not give me guest pass but if i pay for the day or sign up i can workout. So i ask them why they didnt say anything about this on their web site they didnt have answer. So i decided to pay day pass $15, a had only $20 cash and they told me i need card or they dont have change. I told them this is not right but thats ok keep the 20 qnd let me work out anyway i waste 45 min of my time.After i said that they just told me leave the guy. Worst customer service i have experience in my live.

Clean gym but their sauna is usually not working barely reaching 100 degrees and their steam room has not worked correctly for past month and now broken.

Justin (GM of this location) is a scammer. He will say he is going to waive a couple fees for you and low and behold they show up and makes every excuse in the book that he can’t do it at the moment and he will get to it ASAP. Hopefully the right person sees this so I can show them the conversations via Facebook messenger I have with him promising to refund the $100 fee he promised he would. His biggest lie was “it’s processing”. It’s now been two months in “processing”.

Very pleased with this gym. Always very clean, great equipment and indirect lights helps when working out. More expensive then other gyms, but I believe you get what you pay for.

Nicely laid out spacious new club with tons of great equipment. Perhaps only about 1 year old. I liked the towel service and steam room not offered at regular LA Fitness clubs. They also had glass doors on the showers which was a nice touch. There were plenty of rooms for aerobics and spin classes plus the HIIT room and a special personal trainer area. Overall a great location!

Nice new clean facility. Awesome staff (Trent and Lorenzo particularly). “Signature” la fitness, so it’s a little pricier than other local gyms; if that means it’ll be cleaner and less crowded, then I’m all for it. Towels, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner provided. Very nice and modern sauna, steam room and hot tub in each locker room. All the weight lifting tools you could possibly need, more than enough benches near the free weights. Hoping for this place to help me get to some new summer goals.

This facility is awesome. Everything is brand new, and the setup is really nice. I enjoyed visiting this location. This gym is great. Everything is brand new. There are no crowds at all. No bad smell in the locker room or the separate bathroom. Also unlike the gym I quit before I joined this one, when I asked for a towel they said What size. I come in and they say hello, I leave they say Have a good day. They have half weights. Like in between 40 and 45. Maybe I had a horrible gym before, but I dont have to wait for machines and everything is clean and the people are great. Also no gym tags because you can use your phone to sign in. When I signed up I wasnt pressured to be up sold to join classes past when I said no. Its great.

I’m from out of town and came to see Brandon the Manager for a guest pass so I could work out while I’m here for school. He took great care of me. Great facility!

I wanted to freeze my membership due to COVID and I simply can’t work out with mask but They can only freeze it from the date I am paying so I will have to pay for 2 weeks for nothing and plus $10 for month for nothing during the membership freeze, poor communication and not honest and right and way to do business charging people for nothing...

In response to Maggie Augustyns review, I was also present at that class. I observed that you showed up late for Aidas kickboxing class. Therefore, you missed Aidas consistent introduction to the class which always includes 1) a warm welcome including an introduction of herself, 2) her description of the class which always includes modifications, and, 3) encourages water breaks and emphasizes Dont be shy and modify. You subsequently (5 minutes later) walked out after Aida approached you in a FRIENDLY manner and asked if you were OK after you had stopped moving.I believe Aida is an asset to the Group Fitness Program at this Lombard location, and is a seasoned instructor at two other LA Fitness locations as well. She is very challenging and energetic. She always welcomes feedback from her participants. (Preferably face to face and not on social media as a negative review).Showing up to the class on time would have avoided all of this.

Little more expensive than a typical la fitness but place is never busy and always clean compared to some of the other la clubs I’ve been to which is really nice.The General Manager Brandon was very helpful when I first inquired to the gym let me and my friend use a guest pass and helped out with enrollment after, great club!

Its a nice facility, cleaner than a place like X-Sport or Planet Fitness, but really doesnt offer much more than them and is around twice as expensive. I took a tour and wasnt really impressed with what Id be getting at $50/mo.Plus the sales reps were super pushy. I felt like I was at a used car dealership. They kept pressuring me to sign up at their price point even when I made it clear from the start that Id want to go check out other places. In the end I walked out and found a much better deal elsewhere. I dont want to sign up at a place that only views me as a sales goal they need to meet.

LOVE Aquatics class, especially the M-W-F 9 am classes led by ALI. Shes the best instructor ever. She pushes you, she motivates, encourages and inspires you to do your very best. Always look forward to this class. Would love to feel the same level of workout in the Tu, Th and Sat classes.

Very clean spacious facility . Was skeptical going in about memberships because they advertise 45$-50$ a month online. Come to find out there was a family membership available getting me and my wife to 60$ a month. Highly recommend

This place has been open 3 months and already Im seeing signs of laziness. The hot tub is now broken, one of the only reasons I visit and its a signature club even when it was working it already had scum accumulating on sides of hot tub. One of the tvs in the locker room has not worked in a week. When I asked about it they said the operations manager wasnt answering his phone. This is a LA fitness signature club you charge me more for my membership so please step up and provide signature club service, the hot tub or the television should not be broken and your employees have to come up with better responses than the operations manager did not answer his phone. I would love to recommend people visit the club but not at this level of service.

Greg was so amazing with bringing us in to the gym by telling us at the Jewel, later when me and my wife came in we were taken back by how this place is so put together and most of all how well Greg made my wife and i welcomed as family he gave us all the options that we got to see and impotently understand what we are paying for unlike some other gyms. we are very blessed to have a gym like this with faces like Greg. we as a family highly recommend Greg call and ask hes a guy you cant miss.

What an awful experience. I took a Cardio Kickboxing class with Aida on Sunday. There were at least 3 new people in the class. The instructor didnt introduce herself, didnt welcome us to the class. She said that if the workout was too difficult to do a modification. She NEVER SHOWED any modifications. The routines became more complicated and I couldnt keep up. I tried to catch my breath and stood at the back of the class for a moment. Aida asked why arent you moving? in a very rude way. I told her I couldnt keep up. She said Well, you cant just stand there. She SHAMED me in front of the whole class. I couldnt hold back tears, I picked up my jacket and left.I posted my experience on social media and a friend reached out to me suggesting I try a class that same evening at Jazzercise. Once I got there, the instructor introduced herself to me, she welcomed me to the class in front of everyone, encouraged me during the class using my name, she complemented me and at the end she had the whole class give me around of applause for doing a great job. The instructor at Jazzercise also posted on her social media page, her experience with me and how great it felt for her to encourage me to participate.What a difference. Ill NEVER go back to LA Fitness in Lombard. Aida is a terrible instructor... I have no idea how she keeps her job.

State of the arts equipment but it was difficult to workout out in comfort because the atmosphere was extremely hot. The day l workout the fans were turned down low and the air conditioning as well.

The kids Klub is nice and the entire facility is very clean. I love being able to work out and not worry about my kiddo being bored!

This is in response to Maggie Augustyn”s review, I have been taking Aida”s cardio kickboxing class for the last 6 weeks. This is a high intensity cardio class with Adia showing modifications for all levels of fitness. She emphasizes many times throughout the workout to go at your own pace and drink water. Maggie, I was present in the class you attended, I believe you were late. If you showed up at the appropriate time you would have heard Adia introduce herself at the beginning of class, and encourage any new people to speak up. Keep in mind this is a workout class where many people want to get a cardio workout. It is not a social hour, where everyone stands around talking.Furthermore, Adia has been more then helpful to me. In my first class she did a move that I couldn’t grasp at the time. I went to her after class, and she spent 15 minutes trying to teach me the move. I find Adia, to be helpful, encouraging, and professional.

Nice facility, still going through shake-down after opening. Surprised there is no supplement or juice bar in a signature club. The club in Shorewood has juice bar facilities ( I think looking for new proprietors) . Still lots of space, machines etc. The handle on the inside of the infra-red sauna is metal. Not sure that was the best idea. Outside the door metal is ok, inside, should be wood, or at least wrapped. gotta push on the glass cause the handle is too hot !

BRAND NEW. Nicest LAF Ive been to, and Ive visited at least 50 locations in 10 states. Next-gen equipment with monitors/charging/jacks, spotless facility, spa, dedicated Hot Yoga studio, high-speed WiFi, friendly staff, convenient location, and the overhead music wasnt blaring (we all wear headphones anyways, right?). Glad I stumbled upon it while driving by.
