A very enjoyable place. Great service. Good atmosphere. Very talented bunch. My understanding is they are cash only location, but if youre already aware (and presumably it wont sneak up on you as they are very upfront/open) then you will truly enjoy your experience here. I know I will continue to patron this establishment.

Very consistent service, good style and skill very competitive with other men’s barbershops. Apparently theyve been around for a long time, but you wouldn’t know it as their style is up to date. Always had consistency and skill problems with hair cuttery, Sports Clips (aka cringe clips) and the like... you won’t have that problem here. Despite being a tad more expensive, cash only and no appointments, it’s a fair and welcome trade off.

Great bunch of guys that all do hair great in their own right. Atmosphere is very nice. Just as barbers are supposed to do they all like to talk to their customers and get a feel for who they are. The camaraderie is great. My hair cut is a Flat top on a challenging head is always done right. Prices are about what the norm is today. You get what you pay for! The shop is clean and well kept and so are the barbers. Just a great place, Im glad I tried them, they are now my regular barbershop.

I see Matt or Marcus usually, most everyone who works there is solid. Theyre a little pricey, but compared to what you pay at sport clips, its worth the extra. They wont mess up your head or beard. They actually know what theyre doing.Also be advised, its cash only

The barbers here are awesome, always ready for a good conversation and they take their time to ensure your hair is the way you want it. Last time I was in there was a someone getting a haircut next to me and my barber was informing the other one about a mole on his left side to watch out for it (the guy getting the cut was like oh is that what side its on? I never know and always forget to mention it). Little things like this definitely makes me appreciate a place that cares about their customers

Had driven by this place a few times, but had never had a real straight razor shave so never went in. I wish I had all those years, this place is terrific! Barber (I believe his name was Pete) welcomed me right in and knew exactly what he was doing. Friendly open-door environment and shave was great! Neck is clean and beard looks fantastic, these guys are awesome. Will definitely be going back. Great price to boot.

A creative bunch of guys who will help you find a new look, or keep your old. There a real, solid barber shop vibe here, and I warmed up to it faster than I thought I would.

Old school barber shop. Great place to get that old school barber feel. Always good music playing, Marcus the owner is a really great guy. Its cash only but dont let that scare you away. I even take my son (18 months) here.

Great barbershop! They always play great music. The shop is clean, and everyone of the barbers is great: you cant go wrong here no matter who cuts your hair. They also have a great environment inside the shop. And Marcus? Hes the man. Hes a one in a million guy. Lombard is lucky to have this shop.

Stumble upon this place 3 years ago and havent gotten a haircut anywhere else since then. Clean shop, great environment, and barbers that know what theyre doing. I live in Lisle but go out of want way to get there. Worth it.

Got a great haircut at a reasonable price, and the guys who work there were fun. Its hard for a guy to find a decent barber shop these days (most salons cater to women and arent as good with mens hair; and those chain places with new beauty school graduates...well, you get what you pay for). My only criticism is that they dont take credit card. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend.

I wanted to share my yelp review on google:I found this spot 3-4 years ago when I worked in Carol Stream and lived in Schiller Park. I needed to find a barber, and boy did I ever find one. I am so glad I stumbled across this barber shop as Marcus and company (Joe and Pete at the time) really know mens haircuts and make you feel right at home. These guys are true gentlemen that have experience well beyond your average barber.I recently moved to Algonquin and I have been settling for the supercuts and greatclips....it drove me nuts! I then found a barber in Algonquin that did a decent job but never wowed me. I finally told myself that I will go back to Marcus in Lombard (which is 45mins away from Algonquin) and see if it would be worth the drive. Let me tell you, it was WELL worth the drive and I plan on going out of my way to these guys every time I am due for a haircut!And for the people complaining about the price in the reviews truly must not understand how talented and good these gentlemen are. They are the BEST that I have ever come across, hands down! If you want the best haircut or shave, do yourself a favor, dont cheap out and instead, treat yourself to not only the best haircut you will ever get but and a classic environment of a barbershop thatll put some hair on your chest!Keep up the great work Marcus and crew!
