Hairborn is fantastic! Super friendly from the moment you walk in and get greeted by the front desk.My stylist Melanie is always ready for me when I arrive and a ton of fun. She does a great job with my cuts, listens to what I want, and remembers things about my hair (like my weird cowlick) that make the cut better every time I visit. I even got compliments from a few friends / family after my first couple of cuts that I looked younger and must be eating better - but Im still living that cookie monster lifestyle. Eventually it clicked every time for them that my hair actually put together my whole appearance... Im a guy but I guess I shouldve figured that out sooner.Getting a great haircut is why I come here, but the fun atmosphere and cool people are a great bonus too!

BEAUTIFUL JOB FOR PERMS!!! Maria is amazing and super thorough with creating beautiful curls for a perm. My hair is long and thicker and she layered it so that my curls would bounce and look amazing. My curls start from the root of my head too so everything flows so nicely. Maria is super personable and very funny, so easy to talk to and it made the session go by so fast. I love my perm and it’s exactly what I wanted before heading off to college! She is seriously the only person I’ve found who does an amazing job for perms and takes her time. The curls have lasted so long too, I love it. Go to her for a perm!! They took pictures that might be on their website, but seriously I’m always going to her now. 5 stars.

Hairborn always does a good job. I got my brows waxed and tinted. Came out perfect and Emma is wonderful and personable. My only beef is theyre pricy I cant go as often as Id like to as budget says no. But you really do get what you pay for. The places Ive been that are cheaper are never as good as Hairborn.

I have used this salon before and my hair stylist was Christina. I remember looking into the mirror after she was finished and holding my tears because of how short she had cut my hair. My hair is very fine, so length is all that I have but she took that away from me, and I was left with something that looked like the tail of a mouse for the next 4 months. Never returned after that. The tears were definitely not worth $70

I have been to many hair-cutteries and beard-trimmeries in my years, and let me tell you something, this place has them all beat. Not only would they take out every other hair-styling business in an Anchorman-meets-Gangs-of-New-York 5-corner no-headshots brawl, but in terms of shear (see what I did there?) quality, they are second-to-none, first-in-your-heart, top-of-the-heap, light-years and furlongs ahead of any other place I have visited.The owner, Dave, a man for whom the word Gentleman needs an updated if not proper new definition, is the embodiment of generosity of spirit, kindness of heart, and talent oozing from his fingertips. Fortunately the ooze is hair-product, so any grossness is mitigated. He will listen to you and work with you and give you exactly what you want. And if you dont know, he will talk to you, and look deep into your soul and somehow come back out knowing the exact hair-style you didnt even know you wanted. I have seen this man create colors to put into hair that send Crayola driving to Vegas out-of-their-mind jealous because they cant process the reality of this mans talent. Every other person I have had the pleasure of sitting in front of has been an absolute gem of a human-being and master of their craft. They can do honest-to-god almost anything you ask them to. And if they dont know, they figure it out (Ive seen it. It was intense, but it ended up as all things do, perfectly). Hell, if it wouldnt technically be loitering, Id come here just to sit on a sofa inside for a little bit, maybe smoke a square outside, and just stay for the wit and conversation that exists within this place. Friendly staff and very fun and sterile environment, they make sure, especially during a pandemic you feel safe. From the owner to the stylist to the reception that make you feel like family. Barber chair stations for the men it is environment for every age... Plus, you have access to Crook County clothing line there as well! Highly recommend been going her for years!

Ive been going to hairborn for years and have always loved the staff and atmosphere. Dave has an excellent sense of style and truly has a great eye for how to give a quality mens haircut. I love this place and will never go anyplace else again. A friend of mine told me about it a couple of years ago and said I should go see Maria. She is the best. She knows what she is doing and is able to do it fast. The rest of her team are equally as talented. You can go there and relax and know that you are being taken care of the right way. Maria has done some fabulous things with my hair over the last few years that I would never have thought would have looked good on me, but the styles were fantastic and easy to replicate when I got home. I constantly get compliments on my hair, and it is all because of Maria. These guys are the best.

Once you walk in the doors, the decor is stunning, then youre greeted by such bubbly and kind staff who make you feel like youve been coming there for years! EVERY stylist is so talented and you couldnt go wrong with picking any one of them! My ALL time favorite stylist is Alex! Another cool thing about the salon is that the owner Dave who is also a stylist, has his own line of clothing there! I dont have one bad thing to say about Hairborn! I will forever be a customer, I even got my mom and some friends to go there, and they are just as in love with the place, atmosphere, and people and products as I am!!

I had a bit of a rough experience here but Dave handled the situation very well and hence i am giving them 4 stars for good management. I would also say that after having a word with Dave, I feel like I could actually consider going back to this place in the future since mistakes happen and something that happend now, wouldn’t necessarily happen again. Things just didn’t work for me this time but I hope they will next time :) Thanks for solving the issue Dave!

Been coming here for a few years. Melissa my stylist is awesome. The staff at the desk is awesome. They are also technologically advanced and youll receive reminders via text if that is what you need in todays busy life. Its a cool atmosphere too. Check it out.

They are super personable and welcoming. I’ve had a wide range of haircut experiences from other places, but I definitely trust them.

I have been searching for a salon to cut my hair for a while. I have tried other places and it just never felt right. This was my first visit here and it was great! My stylist was Liza. She was amazing and patient and so easy to talk to! My hair is difficult to cut but she did a wonderful job! Love, love the color. Now bringing back grandkids and will recommend this salon!

I LOVE this place! I am a working professional who likes to have a little bit of edge but not so much that is inappropriate for certain environments. I have been able to communicate my wants and have them successfully executed here. Ive tried this elsewhere and have usually been left with either boring styles or something too much for work. I have seen so many awesome hair styles and colors come out of this salon from many of the stylists. Ive personally worked with Lonnie who I obviously love! I look forward to my next visit. If I can communicate it, they can make it happen!

I was fed up with my old barber shop so I tried this place. Its infinitely better. The place feels clean, well organized, the staff is nice, and the haircut was great.

This place was great, I did a walking appointment, they managed to squeeze me in. The people were really nice, and I loved the atmosphere. Not your typical salon, has more of an alternative feel, but I felt right at home. I will definitely be back. Maria was wonderful, and I cant wait to take advantage of the color services!

I asked if she could do a bald fade and at first she was hesitant but she said of course she could. Once she started I noticed she did not know how to blend but I let her do her thing. When she was done the front register came to check it out and she said it was great. I paid and went to the car and noticed in greater detail how bad it came out. It was horribly blended and patchy all over. I went back in and asked her to fix it and she was making it worse and worse, at one point she began to use scissors to fade lol. I asked her to please get some help and the person who helped also didn’t know how to fade. It came out better but still worse than anything I had ever gotten. For $30 you’d expect them to know how to fade but apparently that’s not the case.

Went to get my eyebrows done based on reviews I saw on yelp they looked like the best in the area - and I loved them! The place is so chic and trendy inside. The lady on the phone was super nice, Melanie did my eyebrows she was great! Definitely my new eyebrow girl!

My search is over! I tried Hairborn because it was close to my job.I left there a permanent client!Maria does my hair...color, highlights and cut.I finally love my hair!Ive had the opportunity to see other stylists at work. They are ALL amazing.And a bonus:The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

From the greeting at reception to the care taken by my sons stylist, Torie, to get his hair just right, the entire experience was wonderful! Everyone was incredibly nice and the vibe of the salon was edgy & cool, particularly for an almost 13-year-old boy who wants to transition to a grown up look. Well definitely be back and plan on adding more members of our family to the client list!

I found Hairborn salon online and decided to schedule an apt for a super short cut (short for me because my hair was down to my butt) into a long bob and color. Becca was my hairstylist and she was the sweetest! She listen to what I wanted, gave great advice, didnt seem annoyed when I changed my mind on a couple of things, she wasnt pushy selling their products and I most importantly my cut and color came out amazing! She does a good job and takes the time to really give you a quality haircut, from what I can see that is how this place operates. They work with you to make sure youre happy and they do it in a very unique and intriguing environment. Definitely check them!

I was in desperate need of a haircut and was searching for a local place, and decided to checkout Hairborn based off a couple of recommendations. Kristen was my stylist and she was incredibly friendly and personable, and really listened to my vision for my hair. She took her time and didnt let me leave until I was 100% satisfied. She even encouraged me to go home, play with my hair some more and style it. And if I wasnt happy a week later, shed let me come back for a touch up for free! Aside from the quality of the stylists, I really just like the vibe of this salon. They really create a fun, unique place to hang out and enjoy getting pampered. I will definitely return!

This was my first time at Hairborn Salon, and I couldnt be happier with my hair! My stylist was Christina and she did an amazing job considering the coarse and curly texture of my hair. Before I came here, my hair looked lifeless and the length was weighing down my curls. I called and made an appointment. I was set up with a friendly stylist. All I wanted was a cut and partial highlights. She said no problem. (My hair was only shoulder length to begin with) she washed my hair and i told her the haircut i wanted. A simple diagnal forward. She asked if i wanted a blow dry and style as well and i told her that wasnt necessary. No price was discussed, and by the time I was almost done I had such a bad migraine I didnt even realize she didnt show me the cut! (No mirror, turn the chair etc.) Shed given her hand mirror to someone, who shall remain nameless, because they didnt have one. Oh and thats after blow drying it as well. (How does such a fancy salon not have hand mirrors?!) I didnt ask for a blow dry! Thank you for taking that on and making my bill higher. I knew I was spending money that day to treat myself, however, maybe discussing prices with your prospect clients would be helpful(?) Its been almost two weeks but I was still dissatisfied,hence the review. Gorgeous place, really, but I cant say I would recommend it to anyone.

Ive been going to Hairborn exclusively since 2004. In all that time, there has only been one instance I was unhappy with my color, the second I brought it up to my stylist Dave, he fixed it! No questions asked. They make you feel so welcome and they truly want you to be happy with your hair. I go the simple route, just highlights and a trim most times, but they are experts at giving people a unique, talked about hairstyle. I would recommend Hairborn to anyone!
