The Lodi Dentist has been nothing but friendly, responsive and professional. My boyfriend and I left our beloved dentist in the Bay Area when we moved to Lodi a few months ago. We were due for our checkups and after a quick Google search landed on The Lodi Dentist. We are beyond happy with our choice. From the moment we called to request our appointments we were greeted with friendly voices and an understanding of our ever-changing schedules. We have interacted with quite a few members of the staff and all have been kind, informative and respectful. I’ve been seen by both Dr. Neal and Dr. Kalapsa and have received excellent care from both. The office’s dental hygienists are exceptional and make your experience as comfortable as possible. Follow up calls are made to check on patients after procedures. Beth and the other front office staff are easy to work with and make check-in and billing painless. Wait times are almost non-existent because the office does not overbook patients. Long story short, The Lodi Dentist is the best dental office in the region, and I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with The Lodi Dentist team. From the dental assistant to the hygienist, to the Doctor herself. Everyone did a fabulous job! I’m grateful that the OTHER dental office I’d initially scheduled an appointment for failed in getting me in. It’s a little pricy without insurance, but it’s totally worth it. Prior to the pandemic, a crown that was put on by this office fell off. I swallowed it and was unable to retrieve it. It was under the five years time that the insurance would cover its replacement.The office did not stand behind their work and since we were unable to afford a replacement and our finances were not in a situation to take out a further loan to replace it, the crown has yet to be replaced.On more than one occasion this office has made me feel as though I am just a source of income. When charged, billing has been done incorrectly so that I am charged more than should be allowed. When questioned, billing was adjusted and miraculously fixed so that I wasn’t overcharged.On another occasion a filling I had done was overly sensitive after the procedure. My husband had similar experiences after work was done for him also. In another instance, the filling was ill polished or shaped so that I had to return twice to have it reshaped or fixed. I switched dentists within the office.The first instance regarding my crown has made me very hesitant to visit any dentist. It has been two years since that incident and now I am embarrassed to visit a dentist.I will never return to this office, not only because of this experiences, but also because I feel they are not capable of providing adequate treatment, quality service they stand behind, and the service in the office makes me feel more like I am just a wallet.

This place is amazing. Everyone there is friendly and follow protocol. They explain every detail and you leave with all information needed and plus. I definitely recommend you check them out. I agree with everyone else who have left a positive review. All staff is amazing and go above and beyond for their clients.

Ive never liked going to the dentist, but with a wonderful place like the Lodi Dentist its not quite so bad. Everyone who works here provides great service, from the reception staff at the front desk, to the dental assistants and the doctors too. Ive only come here for a routine cleaning, so if you need your teeth cleaned in Lodi this is the place to come!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Called in November didn’t get an appointment until end of March (I wanted specific work done) only to get to my appointment and find out that they weren’t going to do any of the work I scheduled the appointment for. They wanted to do an intake appointment first OR charge me for emergency care(NONE OF THIS WAS TOLD TO ME WHILE BOOKING) mind you,I took the whole day off to get everything I need done and give myself time to heal. Instead they over charged for the work that was done, booked another appointment two weeks out and then when I call to let them know I’m running a little behind they told me they will only complete half of the work that needs to be done and then reschedule the other half for a month later or I could pay a 50 fee to cancel and reschedule the whole thing at once. So here we are almost 6 months from the first time I called and still none of the work needed was completed. Not to mention the front office staff making a mockery out of the fact I was irritated that I had to take an entire day off for work that only took 30 min to complete. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME THE WORK IS NOT WORTH THE PRICES THEY CHARGE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT ANY BETTER.😶

Went in to get some work done. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Very professional, very courteous and very respectful to their patients. Plenty of parking. Literally across the street from Lodi Memorial Hospital. I highly recommend visiting for all your dental needs.

First dentist ive been to that felt so welcoming. Very nice and professional staff. They fill you in with every single detail and dont leave you curious about whats going on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST

If you are looking for quality and a place to feel at ease with your teeth cleaning and/or problems, this is the place. I have had the worst experiences at other dental places but this one has been the one to ease my anxiety. Very professional and reliable. Dr.Neal and Berenise are amazing. Had throbbing pain and needed to be seen ASAP. After calling another local dentist and being told I wouldn’t be seen until 1 month later, I called The Lodi Dentist and was seen for an X-Ray in only 3 days with treatment the same day! The office is clean and organized. Staff is very professional, super friendly and welcoming for new patients. I was extremely pleased with my treatment and the way the staff took care of me. After my first appointment with Dr. Neal, I realized why everyone I know that is a patient here raves about him and his team. I was very happy with my previous dentist and did not feel a need to switch. I originally wanted to see Dr. Neal a few years back when I moved here, but I didnt have the best insurance. Now that I have since upgraded my insurance and am about to have important dental work done after finishing my braces, my girlfriend recommended me to see Dr. Neal. After 15 minutes of sitting down, I was extremely comfortable with my decision. I know that I am in good hands and can trust The Lodi Dentist with all of my future dental needs. He sat down with me and explained what was good and what was not so good about my teeth and how he will fix it. Never in my life have I had a dentist take the time to explain and teach me about these things, so my only regret today is that I didnt visit him sooner.

Cannot say enough good things about this office. They helped me on very short notice with a dental emergency (I wound up in the ER on a weekend with a crazy amount of pain!) They let me come in the next day to get looked over, and were able to help me within a matter of days. As someone who has suffered some dental trauma (i.e. bad experience at a previous dentist that left me scared to ever go back) Dr. Neal was amazing at calming these nerves. He even called me personally the morning after my procedure to check up on me to make sure I was doing okay. I cant undo my past dental missteps, but you can bet I will go here from now on to maintain my teeth for the future. Thank you guys!!!!

I had a great experience at The Lodi Dentist! I was scared about the entire process but my dental assistant Berenise was very patient with me and made sure I was comfortable with each step before moving forward. Dr. Neal did a great job at getting the job done quickly; 3 teeth pulled out in a matter of minutes ! Not to mention they offer Nitrous as a way to calm your nerves about the process. Overall, I had a GREAT experience at the office and I will certainly return for future work!

I called and explained my unfortunate situation and Beth said they would be able to accommodate my emergency appointment---I was seen within an hour of calling! Everyone at Dr Neals office is simply amazing! I contacted their office initially on Friday April 24 after breaking my front tooth and contacting my own dentist to find that their office is no longer open and working my way down a list of local offices and only getting recordings and leaving voicemails. At Dr Neals office, my call was answered by Beth, who was unbelievably helpful and was able to schedule me an appointment for Monday morning, even though I was a new patient! Monday morning arrives and Im a bundle of nerves since I have an overwhelming fear of dentists but I have to go because I cant smile owing to the missing front tooth. I was greeted inside by Beth, who once again was so kind and made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Jill, Dr Neals assistant, was also amazing and was so pleasant while taking x-rays and preparing me for the exam. Dr Neal himself is wonderful, very gentle and he fully explained all of my options and what the different prices would be for each one. i was so happy with the experience that I cant imagine going to any other dentist now and wish I would have become a patient here years ago! Very highly recommend this office!

I just moved to the area and needed a new dentist to go to. I just got done with the initial check up and cleaning; it was perfect. Great conversations but efficient at the same time. I can honestly say it was the best dental experience Ive ever had. Beth, Joselyn, Britney, and Cassie were amazing! I’m am so grateful for this dental practice! They went above and beyond helping out my son! We are not a patient of this practice when I called to make an emergency appointment. My dentist office is closed due to COVID-19, and couldn’t help or direct me in anyway. I called The Lodi Dentist, explained my sons issue and was seen immediately! They practiced safety measures when we entered the building. Disinfected the pens, counter and clipboard when we were finished with the paperwork. Above all they were able to get my son seen and referred to an oral surgeon! I appreciate that they didn’t abandon their patients needs during this time. I had to change dentists after 28 years, as my previous dentist retired. I was referred to the Lodi Dentist by a friend. I am so happy with this referral! I was able to get an appointment quickly and the staff is just wonderful!! I had a very thorough exam on my first visit, my problems were addressed quickly and taken care of immediately. I loved the way that the hygienist and the dentists all explained exactly what they were doing and why. The office is very comfortable and extremely professional.

They didn’t call my insurance to see what was covered. I had two different types of xrays done, one that I had to pay out of pocket because I had already met my insurance quota. Overall not too impressed considering they had excellent reviews.

Going to the The Lodi Dentist is more like visiting friends than going to your dentist. My wife and have separate hygienists, Brittany and Corey, so each of us spend the time discussing what has occurred since the last visit. Where have we gone and what we are doing. Exactly the same conversations that I have with friends.When Dr Neel comes in you are always greeted with a friendly smile and personalized greeting. That is just who Dr Neel is, a friendly guy who happens to be your dentist.

Highly recommend this dental office. I was passing through town for the holidays when my dental implant crown came loose. I called many dentists and this was the only one willing to squeeze me in the day before Thanksgiving and the same day I called in. Turns out they didn’t have the right tool to tighten my crown but the doctor drove all the way to Stockton to another dentist office to get the specific tool need. They went over and beyond to help me! The staff is very kind and professional. They also have very updated X-ray technology.. I was impressed. Plus the office is very clean and modern. Overall impression is 5 star!

Very professional treatment. My appointment was at 0930 but due to a glitch, my actual appointment was almost an hour later. This has never happened before but Dr. Neals receptionist communicated immediately, which I really appreciated.My cavity was filled and, as usual, I left his office a happy camper.

Let me just say this. WOW. I was super impressed with this office. From the person who answered my first call, to the insurance specialist to the dentist and others including the assistant, I was amazed by my experience. It was no shock to me that this office was voted best in Lodi for 7 years!I was not shamed, I was not pressured, and I felt totally in control of my choices moving forward in my smile makeover. I actually cried in my car after the appointment. There is so much more I could say but this is long enough lol.I am so happy I found this office.

Coree the hygienist is so amazing I make a point to get my teeth cleaned every 4 months. The office as a whole works great as a team to provide personal service and always schedules my appointments in a timely manner. This is a dental office like no other. This is how all customer service interactions should be modeled. I recently moved to Lodi and took a recommendation from a family member to see Dr. Hoff. After my previous dentist, whom I really enjoyed, gave me a clean bill of dental health, Dr. Hoff found there was actually much work to be done. This is what comes from the most-advanced dental imaging technology available. I am grateful to catch these things so early and avoid problems in the future! But thats just the start. When I called to see if Dr. Hoff was accepting new patients, Kami was so helpful and set me up with an appointment right away, which was followed by a mailed welcome packet within a day or two. I receive text reminders of my appointments a week prior, the day prior and the morning of. So thoughtful! I even received a happy birthday text from their team! In person, Dr. Hoffs team couldnt be more helpful and attentive. Jill is a fantastic Dental Assistant and always explains whats happening, and Beth is a patient and cheerful hygienist who also has helped me several times to understand my billing and scheduling questions. Dr. Hoff, the kind woman she is, sent me a handwritten thank you note after my first visit! Thanks, Dr. Hoff and team! This is how all businesses should treat their customers, no matter the industry. Pleasant experience. Coree the hygienist works very professionally and really takes care to work painlessly going through her stages of diagnosis. Dr Neal explains how your mouth, gums and teeth are doing and what if any work needs to be done.

From the 1st phone call to schedule appointments as new patients for my family, Kami was such a pleasure to speak with over the phone, she made setting up the appointments easy and she is a very good listener because I after I briefly told her all 4 of our schedules she found appointments that fit perfectly for each of us. Then there is Coree, she did my gum/dental cleaning/exam. Never in my entire life had I ever felt so comfortable and at ease sitting in a dentist chair. The more I thought about it, it almost brought me to tears because all my life going to the dentist has simply been a bad experience. In one single visit, Coree and Dr. Neal changed all that. Corees pleasant, professional, and kind demeanor made me feel at ease from the moment I met her. She explained everything in such a way I honestly didnt have questions and if I did I felt comfortable asking them. I could tell she enjoys what she does and she does it well. Dr. Neal was the same way. He was very kind, professional and helped me feel like my dental health was in good hands. Lastly, there was Susan at the end of my appointment. The Lodi Dentist is a hidden treasure in Lodi... or perhaps its just me that didnt know about such an amazing place. I just finished my second visit to Lodi Dentist. The first was great Nicole did my exam and cleaning and I couldnt have been happier with the service provided.I had to return for a deep cleaning and to have 2 wisdom teeth removed and for someone how really doesnt like going to the dentist mainly because of bad past experiences. The people at Lodi Dentist are absolutely awesome. From Kami and Danielle up front, dealing with Susan was a pleasure. Brittainy preformed my deep cleaning and I was so comfortable I her hands after that Dr. Kahn, assisted by Tonya did the removal of my wisdom teeth which was done with such ease and no pain at all. In my opinion Lodi Dentist is the best from the way the attended me and other patients, explaining each step of the process and procedures. I left feeling as though they really care about dental health and not just getting you in and out. I for sure will remain a loyal patient after my experience and in my opinion if your looking for a great place and people to handle your dental needs and care Lodi Dentist is the place to go. The staff at The Lodi Dentist are kind, courteous, considerate, and always make my whole family feel comfortable and welcome! Even the kids look forward to going to visit our friends at The Lodi Dentist, so glad we found them.

Hands down best Dentist in Lodi! Always take care of me and explain everything thoroughly. They also always go out of their way to make sure Im in no pain or discomfort. Would recommend.
