Had to do my first review ever for Dr. Liao & his staff, first the staff are incredibly kind & understanding - I was in an incredible amount of pain and without hesitating they got me in the second I called. When I arrived, Mr. Liao immediately took care of my root canal and got rid of the pain I had been suffering from for weeks.For anyone worried about COVID, they follow protocols to a T, chairs are spaced apart, temperature is taken when checking in and hand sanitizer is given at the front desk right away.I will be returning for all dentistry related work & upkeep without a doubt in my mind. Love the staff & how personable Dr. Liao is!

Im really happy with the way my teeth look since finishing Invisalign. I had braces before but my teeth shifted and actually look better now than they did after having braces. Unprofessional establishment, avoid this place at all costs. The manager Jay employs very dishonest sales practices in efforts to upsell you beyond what the doctor recommends. In both of my experiences with Jay she either never gets back to you or when she finally does, speaks to you in a very rude and condescending manner. I understand that everyone and the economy is struggling but bait and switch is still illegal.

After two years, I have successfully completed my Invisalign journey that began with dental associates of Lodi. When I had my initial consult visit, I was worried that I wouldn’t qualify as an Invisalign candidate and would be referred to an orthodontist for metal braces.That didn’t happen, though. Dr. Liao and his team assured me during that visit that I could have the smile I always wanted with Invisalign, and they were so right! I felt so comfortable during that visit that I didn’t even go looking for a second opinion. What really sold me was the care they gave, and I wondered if that would subside once I became a patient but the staff has been consistent in delivering top customer service.Everyone is kind, patient, and efficient. I’ve never spent more than 5 minutes in the waiting area and the wait time has actually decreased ever since the pandemic started. Dr. Liao is extremely professional and always very thoughtful in answering all of my questions. Some dentists can seem a little robotic but Dr. Liao has a great personal touch.I’m so happy I decided to do my Invisalign with this office, talk about a team that has it all the way together!

This made me think about my safety and compared to other medical offices, and for a dentist where things are going in my mouth, I was concerned about the staffs hygiene practices and their care of customers safety.In addition, I really disliked that we were discussing my financial situation, standing in front of a lobby over plexiglass, while other customers were listening about my procedures and price quote. The manager (Josephine?) was polite and tried to be accommodating but I just didnt feel right about their staff. I really felt unappreciated as a customer. They seem to be doing great and felt like they didnt need my business.2 hours later, I went to another Invisalign provider and they gladly price match and I paid the whole procedure in full minus insurance coverage. For me it was more about the principle rather than price. They also had a ton of hand sanitizers available and they separated the new and used pens in front of their counters.My fiancé needs Invisalign as well and I will have her go to the other place with me as well.

From the minute you arrive for a consultation, you feel as though you are their top priority and the entire staff ensures that you are well informed of the entire Invisalign process by the end of your appointment. I havent visited the office. But I had very hard time with their staff via phone and online chat to schedule appointment. i have waited almost a week and called multiple times to schedule appointment but no response from them. Every time they say some one from appointment team will contact you for scheduling appointment and no one called me yet. I simply wasted my time just to schedule appointment. Looks like they dont need new patients may be.

I had invisalign done by Dr. Liao and his staff. That was ok, however, when it came time to remove the resin “attachments” Dr. Liao proceeded to shave my front teeth down to “shape them” WITHOUT CONSENT.What kind of DOCTOR does anything without consent? My teeth are now smaller and uneven for the rest of my life. I 100% regret using this office.

Dr. Liao was amazing, my experience with them overall was perfect. My teeth were extremely bad so I was afraid the Invisalign wouldnt work and that I would need braces but as you can see from my pictures it worked out perfectly. Dr. Liao really cares for his patients the first day I got my trays he gave me a call at night to see how I was doing, theyre great with your time you never have to wait around in the office, the pricing is reasonable and overall I am so satisfied. Staff is very efficient and friendly. Started going to this group 2 years ago and Im still a patient. Very good at reminding you of your appointment and very good at accommodating if schedule is tight. Place is clean and modern. I like the rooms where they examine you and do the procedure, plus on the TV in the ceiling. Im always kept comfortable and at ease. The cost of a dental visit gets staggering at times, but their office works with you. Overall this is a practice I would recommend you go to.

I had been very apprehensive about the treatment, but his honesty and sincerity during the treatment was refreshing. He listened and answered ALL of my questions about the process and was reassuring at every visit. I also felt very comfortable with asking questions to any of the staff and I always got a response, even when they could not answer they would go an ask the doctor and return. And lastly, scheduling an appointment with Gina was a seamless process, understanding of a reschedule and open to accommodate.

Oh where do I begin! Not only is Dr. Liao incredible but his staff is so pleasant and willing to work with you regarding insurance/payment plans. Dr. Liao is so patient, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He really takes the time to explain procedures and expresses kindness with any concerns. During procedures he tells you exactly everything that he is doing and is also extremely gentle while doing so. After all procedures or even just a visit, he calls to follow up with his patients to make sure there are no additional questions or just to check in to see how the recovery is going from procedures performed. Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to (and I have been to quite a handful - I am very picky especially because I don’t have the greatest teeth) anything to do with my teeth/mouth I cringe but he makes me feel very comfortable and can trust him with anything that he says or does. I live in Jersey City and initially found this place via Groupon for Invisalign treatment. Im no fool and did extensive research on them and two others that I had whittled my choices down to. I made consultative appointments with each but there was something about Dr. Liao and his staff at Dental Associates of Lodi that spoke to me. The fact that Dr. Liao had a Top 1% Diamond Provider rating didnt hurt either. My one concern: that he did so many of these that he could practically do them in his sleep. Therefore, Id be just another mouth/patient and I wouldnt get any personalized care or that he wouldnt listen to any of my concerns, should they arise. This DID NOT come to pass! As a matter of fact, his experience with Invisalign proved to be quite valuable when we came to the end of my treatment and I expressed how I wasnt 100% satisfied (I went armed with a list of bullet points that I had written down). Again, he listened intently and worked out a plan for my refinement trays. At the end of it all, I am VERY happy with how my teeth have turned out. Being able to see Dr. Liao every few months was a tad bit inconvenient, especially having to schlep up to Lodi from Jersey City, but I would do it all over again if it meant that we could talk face-to-face whenever I had any questions/concerns. Personally, this is the biggest advantage over SDC, Candid, and any other mail-order program. They have their place in the market of course, but its just not for me. I considered them as well, but Im glad I went with Dental Associates of Lodi. Oh and whenever I tell people how much my treatment cost me, the response is always, Oh! Thats not bad at all! Take that however you wish ;-)

The entire staff at Dental Assocoates is great! They provide quality care and Kristen Casillas makes me feel so comfortable when I get any work done, whether standard cleaning, invisalign fitting, xray taking, etc. She is wonderful! The majority of people dread going to the dentist and cleanings...Dental Associates of Lodi make the whole process less stressful and easier. This clinic was recommended by a friend and I make the long drive from West Orange to seek their treatment because they are great! Highly recommended!

While on travel, my permanent crown came off and was damaged. Dr. Liao managed to squeeze me in while I had a layover at Newark airport at set me up with a temporary crown. Everyone there was incredibly professional and did a fantastic job. I wish my regular dentist in California was this good. Made me want to arrange for more NJ layovers in the future just to get some regular checkups. These guys really strive for excellence!

My experience has been great, at first I felt uncertain due to the severe overcrowding I was under the impression that I needed major surgery.I went for a free consultation and spoke to Dr Liao he took his time to get to know me,and recommend what he felt was best for me wish it was Invisalign. It has been only 10 month and Im already done, im just wearing the retainers know The difference is night and day. this is the best investment I have done in my 30 years of life I didnt get it any sooner thinking I couldnt afford it but the management team at the office was great and she managed to work with my budget and a whole staff is amazing. I started my Invisalign journey about a year and a half ago. I luckely found Dental Associates of Lodi after doing so much research! They are so awesome and willing to work with you with different payment methods (as we all know how expensive dental work is). With that being said, this office gave me the best price and the best service! I am now completely finished with my invisalign journey and more than satisfied with the results! Dr. Liao is very attentaive and will listen to your concerns. Can’t thank him and his office enough! I love my new smile 😁

Whether Im scheduled for my Invisalign or a simple cleaning, his staff and himself are always so welcoming and make sure youre as comfortable as possible. The enviornment of the office makes you feel right at home and of course its super clean which is a huge plus. I always look forward to seeing Dr. Liao. A friend referred me to Dr. Steven Liao and his team- as she had just finished her Invisalign treatment and the results were beautiful! I started going to Dr. Liao for my routine office visits- cleanings - etc. (and was very interested in Invisalign. The team was very knowledgeable and helped me begin my Invisalign journey. In just 10 months, I completed my treatment and it was totally WORTH IT! I just turned 30, and have NEVER smiled (teeth showing) in a picture in my life! I am in love with my new smile and I am so grateful for Dr. Liao and his wonderful team! Kristen is an outstanding Dental Hygienist! I normally hate going for my 6 month cleaning, but she is thorough- gentle- and you’ll walk out refreshed with a bright beautiful smile! My sister was so amazed with my results she started seeing Dr. Liao for her routine dental visits as well as her Invisalign treatment! Thanks for keeping my smile bright and beautiful guys!!!!

Take it from a guy who has an irrational fear of dentists, this place is amazing! Everyone was very polite from the second I walked in the door. My room had a television and the lovely hygienist asked me if there was any channel I preferred. My x-rays and cleaning were both done flawlessly, and each step of the way was clearly explained. There was no pain whatsoever. Both the hygienist and Dr. Liao agreed on a treatment plan for me, and didnt make me feel like I was in immediate danger. My previous dentist in Hackensack, who shall remain nameless, did everything in her power to make me feel like I needed to get a ton of work done. My wallet and my nerves both prefer Dental Associates. In my 30 years on this planet, this was the best experience Ive ever had going to the dentist!

I was very impressed with the staff at Dental associates of Lodi, very professional, friendly and accommodating. Their office is clean and very welcoming. I am so please that I drive an hour to see Doctor Lioa. I am very please with their customer service and services. I would highly recommend them for all your dental needs!

Wow guys, this man is an amazing Doctor. I can say so much about Dr. Liao. Thanks to these reviews, I came to his office desperately hoping he could help a 2 day pain from an infection in my crown, in which my previous dentist of 3 years failed to attend to. I was taken in fairly quickly after just showing up the way I did. Dr. Liao was everything a Doctor should be. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, understanding, sympathetic... on his A game. He listened to every detail of my story of the last 2 agonizing days. I was also given multiple options on what we can do moving forward. He reassured me that whatever I decide he will support me and make sure I’m not in pain or scared. Dr. Liao cares about you and what’s best for you... not what’s best for his wallet, like other Doctors. Not only that, he called me later in the evening to ask how I am doing and to review our game plan once more. I am so happy and so appreciative of genuine service like this. I must not forget to mention his clean and spacious office, as well as his extremely kind and helpful receptionists and assistants. They are great at working expeditiously and effectively. They set the tone for the impeccable service you are about to get. Good people who care about their jobs deserve to be recognized. Keep it up guys. See you soon!

No one enjoys visiting the dentist. But Dr. Liao and his staff surely makes it their top priority to make their patients feel at ease. The doctor and his staffs are easy to work with. I get all my dental works done here, from simple fillings to root canals to clear braces. I definitely recommend Dr. Liao to anyone looking for any type of dental work.

I am one to say I hate going to the dentist but Dr Liao made everything easy and comfortable. He was honest, straightfoward and did a fantastic job. I have to travel to see him, but its worth the time spent going there because there isnt a better experience going to the dentist then there. The rest of the staff was very friendly and willing to help and the offices were very clean.

Dental Asociates of Lodi gave me the privilege of having a great smile and confidence. They put me on invisaling, which made me skeptical at first but the truth is that it really works if you do it with the right doctor. All the crowding and unevenness from my teeth is gone. The staff is really experienced and friendly. And best of all they gave me the best price on the market!
