The people here are friendly, and very knowledgeable. I had an issue with my 2010 Mini Cooper leaking fluid and I thought it was the clutch slave cylinder so I took it in to PRS and they diagnosed it as the thermostat housing. They did the repair and I am back on the road. My car was there basically over night. Great people, convenient location and reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.
Great shop, very thorough, clean facility, good honest pricing. Ben was great to work with, very helpful. They were able to diagnose and fix a electrical problem that a other independent Mercedes-Benz shop in Stockton could not but still charged $135 for nothing. Would definitely come back to PR’s in the future. They are even connected to Carfax, just like the dealership where it shows all the maintenance history and work performed on your vehicle. Trusted repair facility.
I worked With Ben and Linda to get work done on my New Beetle. Ben went above and beyond to explain the problems and the repairs needed. Since my car had been through 4 teen drivers, it was pretty beat up inside and out. Ben let me decide if it was worth fixing with no pressure and no B.S. Linda was a great communicator. Her emails and phone calls were pleasant and timely. Ultimately I had the repairs made and PRs went above and beyond again when they took the car in for the smog it needed to be tagged. They saved me time and I really appreciated it. PRs Autohaus was recommended to me by a Stockton auto shop that was less confident in their ability to properly diagnose the root of the problem. I am so glad they referred me.
I’ve been here twice and have kept them in mind with any repair I need. The admin ladies are sweethearts, the repairs are fairly priced and I haven’t had a reason to complain yet. They literally knocked on my door and picked me up so that I could drive back home. You can’t get any better than that.
I highly recommend PR Autohaus. My husband and I have been coming to PR’s for almost ten years and our 2007 Mercedes and 2005 VW Toaureg and both going strong because of it. As the daughter of a mechanic, I grew up learning to appreciate keeping a good quality car going for the long haul. Ben and his team are knowledgeable and trustworthy. I feel lucky to have a great family business like this to take care of our cars. Because of this, I’m looking forward to keeping my classic Mercedes going into the next decade. If you love your car like I do, this is the place to bring it.
Great service from front office staff as well as mechanics. My daughters VW was done timely. We picked up her car today
Extremely disappointed in the service and workmanship. Charged me a fortune but failed to do the job correctly. They then refuse to back up their incompetence and lack of professionalism. Shoddy and unprofessional.Took a long time to complete the job...and then the work did not last long. But I paid a fortune for the work that they will not guarantee. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO PRS...YOU WILL BE NOT BE HAPPY!
I absolutely recommend them if you have a BMW that needs repair or Tuneup. Professional environment, Best Service and Wonderful Customers Service. They walked me through everything they found and showed me unlike other big Dealers. I am definitely a happy new customer and a plus they are a Lodi Business. Big Thank You
I got w140 1995Looks like only those guys understand what are they doingThx
Jason is right !! I had a horrible experience with this shop. My engine fault light was coming on and car was d-rating. I took to this shop and was told it was fixed. 3 days later it did same thing. I had a hell of a time getting these people to come pick up the car but when they did I was called and told it was something else. I had my car bought back home and there were are more issues now than before. This may have been a competent shop before but Not Now. These guys dont know how to diagnose or fix cars
I know a lot of people give PRs high ratings... I want to share my experience with them as it was not a good experience. I called them on Thursday to see if they had time for an oil change the next day. I asked them to pick the car up from my house since I would be at work. They picked the car up from my husband the following morning. I stopped by on my way home to pay for it. When I was presented with the invoice for $330+ I was stunned. I said $330 for an oil change??? As I looked closer at the invoice I say that they replaced the cabin air filter, rotated my tires and added air to my nitrogen filled tires, added windshield washer fluid to the tune of $3.95 and grease of some sort for another $3 +/-. I indicated that I did not authorize the cabin air filter to be replaced and that I never would have done that because I know how expensive they are and that my husband replaces them. I never authorized them to rotate my tires nor would I have authorized them to because I have my tire guy do that. I asked why they put air in my nitrogen filled tires with the green cap? And if ALL these things, tires 7 fluid levels etc, are included in the service, why do they charge for it and not get authorization for that too? Lori offered to refund the cost of the cabin air filter. I said ok since that appears to be all Im going to get and I told her I was going to call the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR).As of yesterday, the gentleman from BAR indicated that Lori decided not to refund me the cost of the cabin air filter after all. That they would do nothing to make this customer happy despite the fact that they were told by me of all the issues I had with their service. We took this same vehicle to Niello for something else, they called to let us know the 20,000 mile service. I let them perform it to see if they said anything about the service by PRs. They said nothing about the service except that SERVICE IS FREE. And that PRs should have known that. And they chose not to advise me of that. Instead, charging me for a service that should have cost me NOTHING, and to charge me for services I did not authorize.Subsequent to this visit, Ive been told by several people that they were not happy with PRs either. That they were taken advantage of and work performed that was either unauthorized or unneeded.I will NEVER return to PRs Autohaus, I will advise anyone who asks to not go there. If I hear the same thing from more than one person, I will look a little harder.Thank goodness Buckenhams is nearby :-)
Was Dealing with Linda at first and Allen the Porsches guy has been sick and busy today the other lady at the desk Lori said the tech came in today and the charge for the diagnostic fee has went up because the technician said he needed 2.5 hours to further diagnose my car. After getting off the phone i found that very strange that putting a obd2 scanner costed me 125 dollars( would be nice to advertise better by saying obd2 scanner is $125 and any further diagnostic would be $125 per hour) and now Im paying another 312.50 for the technician to finish the diagnostic, But Lori said if he figures it out before the 2.5 hours ill just be charged for whatever time it is Wow.....!!!!! I think it would have been cheaper to go to a Real Porsche dealership for a diagnostic because theyll be able to do it for one fate rate that was originally agreed upon with a choice of electrical diagnostic or engine.Should have done my diligence on the reviews before choosing a spot but my favorite spot Buckenhams Stuttgart West burnt down the previous week. An this place was the nearest. I wonder what this super technician found since he needed to check if it was a exhaust leak, fuel problem, or mass air shield from what Lori stated. Im starting to become a bit skeptical about this shop but will keep you guys updated tomorrow when Linda gets in.
Worst experience ever with customer service, first off charged me $115 to change my oil haha. Its one bolt and a filter, come on now guys. Then my engine light comes on soon after. Hmm wonder why? They didnt even do any other kind of inspection. Most places at least have a quick 20 point inspection to cover their ass. You guys obviously dont know how to do that. Because I blame you for my engine light coming on. I was willing to pay whatever to get my car checked out top to bottom. All Im asking is to plug in your OBD2 reader. 5 seconds of work, very reasonable considering the light came on soon after you touched my car. Thanks for nothing PRs, anybody who else has European vehicles. Its much more worth it to take it to the dealer, actually will get what youll pay for. DO NOT take your car to this shop, as you can see by previous comments. This shop has no honesty or loyalty to good paying overcharged customers.
Awesome customer service.
