The best auto shop! Right off the bat you can tell that they’re honest and won’t give you the run around and they actually care about their customers. My van broke down on the freeway and they had me up and running in a day even though they were busy. Excellent customer service, very rare to find these days!

He’s very knowledge on cars/trucks but very unreasonable pricing.Cons:1 he left my vacuum line off of my EGR and never put it back on.2. He charged me $95 to CHECK my EGR valve.3. He said he checked the wheel to see if it was loose be he heard a tapping from it, which there was a lug nut was loose and he said he “checked to see if it was loose.”3. I had to wait about 1 week for my car to be done4. it was only in there for bleeding a clutch and checking EGR and the clutch should of taken about 1:30-2 hours to bleed.5. He replaced a part without calling me and asking if I wanted it done. So I got charged for that too.Pros1. He’s a good guy2. He will explain why it’s being done3. Very good knowledge on cars4. Will talk to you for hours about your cars history and why it’s like that

I cant say enough about the owner, I have called him at least 3-4 times about my sports car. I havent taken it in but every question I have had he has answered no problem, he takes his time to help you. I would give him 100 stars if I could, amazing customer service.The lady with the firebird ✋

The owner Jim is the most honest mechanic Ive ever come across, Ive only ever heard good things about him so I started coming to him for my auto repair needs, hell tell you exactly what you need done, what you dont need done, and what you COULD have done, prices are more than fair (best in lodi I believe) and Ive yet to have an issue on my 4runner since going to him for anything I need! Hes kind & Truly an above and beyond guy!

Needed our thermostat replaced...they quoted a fair price. When all was said and done, they charged us 50 dollars under the quoted price! I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Jim is a great mechanic. If you want your car repaired right the first time, hes your man. Comparable rates and he doesnt overcharge. Hes such a good mechanic that sometimes he cant get you in right away- but its worth the wait. Wouldnt take my car anywhere else!

By far the best mechanic Ive dealt with. Jim (owner and mechanic at Joes Auto Repair) is honest, trustworthy, and thorough. He always takes the time to discuss all options. He has a more than fair labor rate and is very honest and open with his cost on parts. Many mechanics will try to get you to do additional/unnecessary work done, but not Jim. He always does a through inspection, and communicates the condition of the car, lets you know what he sees will need attention in the near future etc.Myself, my family, and many of my friends have been going to Jim for all of our car maintenance/repairs for the past 6 years and we swear by him. I have peace of mind going to Jim.
