I would like to commend Motor City Limousine on its service for a recent outing my family and took. Once a year 9 of us gather from New York, Atlanta, Indiana and Michigan to attend a Detroit Tigers game. I had never used Motor City before, but the online reviews looked good.Steve Williams was our driver and arrived promptly and was extremely professional. He dropped us off at the gate before the game and even monitored the game -sadly the Tigers lost - so he was a short distance away when the game ended. We never had to search for the bus, even though the streets were crowded.Steve was helpful even when we changed our itinerary after the game. At the last minute we decided to take the bus to dinner and then the return home. He managed to drop us right at the door of the restaurant, pick us up and still get us home before our rental time was up. And he did it all with a smile!The bus was impressive as well. It had that new car smell and looked as though we were the first to ever use it. Im not sure that was the case, but the cleanliness of the bus made us feel we were.I am looking forward to using Motor City Limousine on my next family excursion and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a party bus.

Rented the Mercedes party bus for my daughter jr.Prom and the kids loved it. I had 1 issue at first they were gonna send a Ford sprinter soon as I called the lady corrected it. Correct bus pulled up on time even earlier than expected. Prices are great also.will be using them again in the future.

BEWARE!!!! HIDDEN COSTS AND FEES DOUBLED MY QUOTED PRICE!I just tried to book this company online for my wedding. I was quoted $591 online which included gratuity. I booked, put in my credit card information, etc. and said it would have to be approved by dispatch before fully booked. When I received the confirmation email, the total price was $1012! They added a cleaning fee, maintenance fee, admin fee, fuel fee, and booking fee that was never disclosed! They then said they could give me a $50 discount as a new customer. Completely misleading and sketchy business practices, I will DEFINITELY not be using their services if they are not even upfront with their pricing!

Motor City Limousine was so easy to work with. They were extremely communicative and I knew exactly what to expect. I arranged the ride for my executive and knew she was in good hands. We received a photo and contact information of our driver prior to our trip, I received notifications when she was in route and when the ride was complete. I would highly recommend and will use them again as my default car service. Prices were great too!

Our driver, Mazen, was very courteous and professional. The vehicle was clean and fresh (no cigarette odors). He supplied us with plenty of water and hard candies, too.

The staff and drivers at Motor City were fantastic. I needed a 20 person party bus and and a 56 passenger bus to shuttle guests to my daughters wedding. It was very important to me that my daughter be pleased on her special day. Both buses and drivers were great and my daughter was very pleased with both.

Great limousine service! Our driver Jeff was awesome! We rented limos before from a different company but they are out of business. Motor City Limousine charged just a hair more but we never knew that that only for 30 dollars more (basically 3 bucks per person, since it was 10 of us) you can get such a nice ride! Give them a try, they are great!

Used MCL in Jan of 2020. My wife and I were looking for transportation to and from the airport for our vacation. After getting multiple quotes MCL had the best price. Our driver arrived 15min early at 7am in a SNOWSTORM!! We requested a sedan but got an SUV which we appreciated as we felt much safer on the roads that were yet to be plowed. Our driver was very professional in his driving, and attitude. We arrived to the airport safely and on time. As for our trip from the airport back home. It was equally as enjoyable. Our driver met us outside of the international baggage claim. Took our bags and got us home. I wouldn’t see any reason why I would use anyone but MCL in the future.Also the communication between the company and driver either through email our text was excellent! And a big plus with me.

I had to arrange transportation for my daughter to the airport, so wanted to make sure that all communications were clear and that she would arrive on time. The day she traveled I got updates continuously indicating when the driver had arrived, the drivers contact number, when my daughter had gotten in the limo... This is an old-old business and barely can anyone come up with something new. So for me its all about quality in small things. Like polite drivers. An those who understand when to talk and when to leave the client alone. Like clean cars that dont seem to fall apart. And hopefully some cool water. When someone goes beyond this, its already a WOW. I reserved the suv limo for my birthday party/ high school reunion for 8 hours last night. Anton was our driver. He was amazing and did a phenomenal job. This is an awesome car service company. I hired them to pickup and drop off my mom and I before and after our trip. They were on top of everything from emailing a confirmation before our ride, emailing and texting driver status, and even emailing a notification to confirm that my mom had been dropped off at her home after her ride. During the trip there was a mix up on the pickup time. Luckily, the service texted me the night before and I discovered that I had mixed up the pickup times. They were gracious in correcting my error and making sure the driver was at the airport at the earlier, correct time to pick up my mom. Thank you so much for such great service!

This company was clutch! Inquired about a limo the night before, confirmed the next morning and had the limo that evening! Rates seemed fair, including overage hours, and driver was extremely nice and professional.Inside of limo was great. Plenty of space, clutch snacks, pop and water bottles. DVD player worked great. My only suggestions are to bring your own cooler / additional ice, and to make sure you learn how to operate the panel in the back that controls the back A/C, radio, bluetooth, DVD player, etc.

I had made reservations for pickup to and from the airport in Detroit. For both ways, I had requested changes after the reservation. They did great in answering my call and making the changes immediately, including email confirmations. Great conversations with both my drivers, and comfortable and safe feeling the entire way!

The odds were stacked against him given how rowdy our group was.Also, the automatic notifications upon their arrival and the communication from Ron when he was waiting for us were all great. Motor City was the only team that didnt blow off our last minute request. Not only worked with us, they gave us the best deal in the city, and the vehicle was exactly what they promised. They were flexible when times and locations changed and made everything easy. You dont want to to have to worry about these details on your big day and they made sure I didnt have to.

Ive been using their airport service for years. Simply put I have no interest in going anywhere else. Prior to MCL I tried other services, they were regularly late or didnt show up at all. Never had an issue with MCL, and the communication before during and after is superb.

I booked Motor City Limousine for my wedding and they were incredibly professional and punctual — two key things in a transportation company. The day of the sent multiple emails to let us know they were on the way, who our driver was, etc. It took all of the worry out of how we would get to the wedding.

I will never use this company again! My experience after paying the initial deposit has been awful. I was told that there were two options of payment: $100 deposit due upon booking and the remaining balance is due in cash and paid to the driver before the trip takes place. The second option is to pay 50% upon booking and the remaining balance is due one week prior to trip taking place. I chose the first option. A $100 deposit was made and the rest was to be paid upon arrival of the driver. Three weeks prior to our reservation I called to confirm our trip because I never received a confirmation email although I was told I would. I also called to change our trip start time from 9 pm to 11 pm. I was told that I had a reservation but that the Pick up time was for 6 pm and not 9 pm. I assured them that I told the woman I spoke with the time was for 9pm. This was my first issue. The customer representative Aaron proceeds to tell me that there will be an increase in price if using the vehicle in the evening, this was never explained to me by the representative that collected the deposit. I was told that Aaron would contact the owner in regard to the matter. I had to calling several times for the issue to be resolved. I kept getting the run around and even requested that my deposit be returned due to the unprofessionalism. My matter was not resolved until one - two weeks before our scheduled trip which prevented me from going with another company. Against my better judgement I gave the company a chance to redeem themselves. The day of my trip I attempted to pay the driver Darryl up front as I was told to by the representative that collected the deposit. The driver then states that there is a $0 balanced owed I explained to the driver that I was told to pay him upon arrival he then stated again that the balance is $0 and that all payment was taken care of. I proceeded to ask the driver was this trip compensation for the issues that we had and it took two weeks to resolve he was unsure but reiterated that I was in the clear as far as payment. Two days later my card was flagged for fraudulent charges by my bank, they explained that it was from Motor City limousine. I explained that those were not authorized payments and that I would follow up with the company. I spoke to Aaron again when I called and explained to him the situation. He then stated that there is a balance due. I refused to pay anything additional after signing paperwork that stated I had a $0. He stated he would do some investigating and give me a call back which I never received. At 9:54 pm I received a call from a Russian man stating that he was from a third party company on behalf of motor city limousine, the man had personal information of mine such as address and make, model, color and license plate of my vehicle which I never provided to the company and stated that I pay within and 24 hours or else they will be forced to cause me physical harm and then proceeded to hang up the phone. I don’t appreciate being threatened at night by someone supposedly representing your company with personal information that I did not provide. A police report has been filed and I will be leaving reviews around to ensure my safety due to the severity of the phone call I received. This company is a fraud. I’ve also noticed that with almost all negative reviews you state that the customer is not in your database which I find hard to believe. I am in fact a customer of Motor City Limousine who has received nothing but poor customer service and unprofessionalism

When the car showed up it was clean, and the driver was was dressed so nice I felt like a queen. They have cold water and snacks in the car which is nice to have for a night out.After a great night out we got home safely and my door was opened for me, my husband doesnt even do that for meanymore. It was a great night. I will be using Motor City Limousine for all of my transportation needs.

Terrible experience. This company, as a subcontractor to Blacklane Limo, contracted to drive us from Leamington, ON, to Detroit Metro Airport a couple of weeks ago. I asked them to make sure the driver had proper documentation for a border crossing. We were delayed on the US side because the driver did not, in fact, have proper documents. As a result, after waiting for a couple of hours, we had to grab a cab, missed our flight, had to stay over a night, and pay airline change fees. I contacted Motor City to try to get them to cover my costs, but I never heard from them. So, Im out $600. If this company cannot take responsibility for their actions, I would avoid them at all costs.

Easy to book and fair prices with professional drivers

When Ive needed to get a ride to the airport Ive used several companies before, including Uber black car. Motor City is incredibly easy to work with. Reservation process is easy, when you call or go to the website. You can even check rates for the trip on the website. The website is really easy to understand and intuitive. The cars arrive early so you arent waiting. They are exceptionally clean. Good drivers - they know where they are going. Nice amenities (water....i havent yet used the free wifi or iPad yet, but i might have to next time just to do it). Compared to Uber Black car i found it was also cheaper significantly on a trip from Birmingham to the airport (maybe $20 or so). So if you know you are going to need a ride id fully recommend Motor City Limo.Also used as transport for guests for my wedding; i didnt get any complaints.
