It was alright, my stylist was very kind and I had a nice conversation with her. However, the haircut was nothing too special, and my sideburns were taken off without asking. Perhaps that was my fault for not saying anything.I do greatly appreciate that all employees (and most patrons) were masked!

As a disclaimer, I am writing from my wifes account. The experience here was amazing! I brought in a picture of the haircut I wanted and the stylist Tali was the best. Throughout the entire haircut she would pause before and after steps to ask my opinion and to make sure it was going the way I wanted. She was very friendly and funny and gave me possibly the best haircut I have ever gotten. Thank you so much Floyds and especially Tali for the great work!

My son typically comes here and we are very pleased with the barber so I had my daughter get a haircut, hoping it would be like the first photo and came home to take a good look at her hair (2nd photo). So disappointed! Looks nothing like the photo I showed the stylist, uneven, longer than what I wanted and honestly felt rushed! Wasn’t able to stay inside the salon with my daughter and I completely understand due to Covid however had I been there watching her cut her hair I could have interjected during the cut.

I have been a client of Megan Beaudoin for over 8 years. She is a very creative stylist. Whether its fashion, or more natural colors, she works magic every time. I am always excited to see what we will do next. She is amazing with shaved designs and her haircuts are on point. Im so glad I found her.

I have curly hair that is difficult to cut and stubborn to bleach. As a result, I have had quite a few bad haircuts and am wary of new stylists. Once I started seeing Megan B, I knew that I had Finally found my stylist! She has done everything for me from an ash blonde fade to a curly bob-cut with an array of subtle auburn and honey gold tints.I generally come in with a vague idea and a couple pictures of what I might want. Megan listens to and reviews all my ideas and even offers some suggestions on how to Really make that color I am looking for pop or add some edge to a design (since I love a unique look). I have gotten So many compliments on my various hairstyles and cant imagine going to anyone else!

Great haircuts and a fun environment. The music was a bit loud so I was yelling to tell them about how I like my hair. Must have heard me though because it came out the way I asked.

Best place to get your haircut hands down

I have been going to this location for years.I made an appointment hours before arriving, when I arrived I was told that there was no one available to cut my hair and asked to wait in my car for 15 minutes while they took care of other customers. I waited for 25 minutes when it became clear that other customers were being taken in ahead of me . No one ever called me back so I eventually left.I will not be back and I would tell my friends not to go here either. It is just rude to take a reservation and not honor it - put your customer on terminal hold in the parking lot.

Can be a little busy, but good place to get my occasional buzz cut and beard trim. Best to make online appointment.

I walked in after making an appointment. I told the lady who was cutting my hair that I didn’t want anything off of the top and please no product. So obviously she cut 2 inches off the top and then put some kind of gel in my hair. Y’all suck lol

Megan did such a phenomenal job on my hair. She even fixed up the pieces I messed up on when I just came in to get my roots bleached! Super sweet gal and really took great care of my hair - definitely coming back! ❤️

I typically go to Wallys Barbershop across the street but he was closed so I tried out Floyds. I dislike chains but I was subverted by how impressive this place is. Its more expensive than usual but its worth it.Carly was my barber and she was the best conversationalist ever. I dont really like talking when getting a haircut but she had a plucky, personable personality that couldnt help but make me loquacious.Im glad I went to this location and will absolutely be returning. 12/10

Showed up for my appointment and was asked to wait outside. The shop is empty with two customers getting served in barber chairs already. There is a ton of open space to social distance easily and they want me to stand outside in 29 degree weather. Get your head out of your 4th point of contact

A hairdresser there began to lecture me about buzzcuts and high and tights in the most entitled and patronizing way possible, and got rude and confrontational when I called her out. Left without getting a haircut, only with wasted time.Admittedly I was undecided on what to get, but that doesnt excuse such poor and arrogant behavior on the hairdressers part. Dont visit this location if you want hairdressers to condescend you over what you choose for a haircut.

Going to the barber during covid-19 was not a necessity for me. It was a treat and a way to get out of the house. I go to the barber to get a cut I cant do myself. This latest cut was basicly the same cut i give myself except in half the time. Next time I will communicate this better to the barber. Over all my experiences at Floyds have been great prior to the pandemic.

I went to get my hair done and asked for some highlights and balayage. I went to a lady there and had 40 volume developer in my hair which completely wrecked my hair and was left very orange. So they told me that they could fix it so I go back again to a different lady who was so sweet and amazing but my hair was still left orange and different tones all around. Pretty devastating for me because it took a lot for me to even want to do something bold to my hair.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a worst experience. I came in just to get my undercut re-shaved. When I showed up, the hairstylist looked at me all nervously and asked, “wait, what do you want me to do with your hair?” I told her I just needed my undercut shaved, and she breathed a big sigh of relief and laughed and said “ oh thank God, I just wanted to make sure that you didn’t want something I couldn’t do. I’m just getting back into doing hair again.” That is literally the last thing that a customer wants to hear when going into get their haircut. It doesn’t exactly instill confidence in you. Everything seemed fine until I got home, and my boyfriend pointed out that my undercut was misshapen and not blended at all. My undercut is supposed to be a triangle, and now it looks like a half circle. The hairstylist did tell me she was going to “even it up” because apparently it was uneven on one side, but this is just ridiculous. There are chunks of hair missing, it’s not blended, and it looks ridiculous. I’m sorry, but if one of your hairstylist can’t even handle a simple undercut, they probably shouldn’t work at a barbershop.

Usually I love coming to Floyd’s for a haircut. This time was different. My barber expressed to me how she did not want to be there and the quality of my haircut was very poor. Looking in my mirror at home I notice she missed multiple spots. Very unprofessional. I will be back, just not with this particular barber.

Normally I get good service but today I did not even get the service I made a reservations for and I was out the door in 12 min so she could take another customer with no appointment!Very displeased. I am not cattle. Also she missed out on a typical $10-$15 tip on. Hope loss of a customer was worth it.

Do not come here if you want to get your hair colored. Had a scheduled appointment and when my stylist went to mix the bleach they realized they were all out. How does a hair salon run out of bleach?? Management was very unprofessional in handling the whole situation.

My name is Steven Julia. My hair cut was amazing and my stylist was great. I only write a review as to inform people this is not a traditional barber shop. I wasnt able to get a straight shave on my beard and the vibe was different than what I prefer. my experience was great only because of my stylist which is why I am giving 4 stars. The place is just not what I am looking for. Only piece of advice to owners was when I called I stated I wanted a cut and shave. That means a hair cut and a straight shave at barber shop.

I rarely leave reviews for things but love this place so much. Megan Beaudoin is my girl and shes and absolute expert at bleach and bright colors!! First hairstylist in my life that has actually styled my hair how I wanted and not just close enough.

Shawn did an amazing job with my undercut. The best fade I have gotten in a very very long time.

This is my go to place to get a haircut. Ive had haircuts from numerous barbers here and they always do a fantastic job. My wife actually started cooking here to get her hair colored and cut. Price is great and she has always been happy with the results. Which is amazing because she is very picky. There is often a long wait but you can schedule your haircut in advance if you dont like to wait. Weekends get packed fast, but thats because they are in such high demand. Highly recommend going here.

I cant speak for the entire shop, but my barber (Shawna) is seriously amazing! Shes cut my hair for the past 4 years, and is great at what she does. All the barbers are very social and make you feel at home. Ive never had a bad experience here, and highly recommend it for mens haircuts!

Took my boys for hair cuts before school pictures, didnt know they did girls cuts. Glad I gave them a try. Wash, cut and style was way better price than a salon and Lexi did an amazing job on my a line bob!

So.. It has been years of searching for someone I can trust when getting a cut.. A lot of you ladies dont know how important it is for a guy to have the one that cuts your hair perfectly.. Well, Melissa gives the best cuts on my hair and is an intelligent, focused, and FUN individual. She only works 2 days a week, so book accordingly. But I am so glad I can actually look forward to a cut, and feel confident that I found someone so great when it comes to an overall experience!! Totally looked me in my eye nodding that she understood what I wanted and then completely messed up cutting a portion of my hair short that I specifically said to keep long. The solution to completely messing my hair up in this first 2 minutes of the cut....$5 off the haircut and run away!!!What a joke, Great Clips listens better and I am sure would have tried to make sure I was happy when I left. There was no ownership of the mistake. This is no longer Floyd’s of old, but a watered down version where they will give anyone a job even if they have no clue of current styles. Unless someone you trust recommended a stylist stay far away from this place. I’ll never go again.

Took my 5-year-old son for a back-to-school cut. Fast, friendly, good service and he loves the massage at the end. Pricey for a kids cut, especially since it takes about 20 minutes, but they do a good job (and I believe you get what you pay for!)

Jackie is awesome! The search for a new barber is one that usually takes a few bad cuts and guess work to find the one.. Thankfully, my search ended with Jackie. She is super approachable and attentive to what her clients want. Although she has quite a wait sometimes, its worth waiting a couple days to make sure she is your barber. I cant recommend her highly enough.

$30 for a very mediocre haircut doesnt cut it for me. Convenient? Sure. Quality? Absolutely not.

My first experience there was awesome. The second, not so much. Granted, I did tell to just make me look good, I didnt get much more than I couldve done myself.

After feeling like I was rushed out so she can get the next client in even though I had a hour slot that apparently only took less than 20 minutes. I didnt even get to look in the mirror at what the stylist did to my hairline in the back when she was done. It was all crooked on both sides, my beard trim was barely a beard trim that was not evenly done at all under my chin. She did not take her time at all to try to see if I liked it. Definitely not worth the money for that haircut. BUT the front desk staff was nice.

AMPED about the new do! I have definitely found a new Floyds thats closer to work. I love my girls down at southglenn, but Gene G up here in Lakewood has totally earned the business! Saw the picture i showed him, took the suggestions and wants from me and gave me EXACTLY what i wanted. My lady loves it, I love it, thanks Gene, looking forward to some repeat cuts!

I will start off by saying that the girl who cuts my hair is great and is the reason I keep going back. The reason I give it one star is because you cant make appointments 2-3 days out, you have to call the morning of. Ive tried to get in with her the past two days and havent been able to even though I called in at 8:30, the earliest you can. I tried over 30 times but kept getting a busy signal. When I finally got through 10 minutes later all of her spots had been filled...

Everyone at this Floyds has been very pleasant, and each stylist from whom I get a haircut has also been fun to talk with. The cuts themselves have been perfectly fine, but none have been stellar.

I have to say I have had my hair cut on numerous occasions here and everytime the hair cuts are extremely sub par ! However I have been seeing Lexi for the past 6 months and everytime I walk out feeling like I was treated great she has a great personality and likes to joke around. Above and beyond haircuts which is why I go . Schedule with Lexi and you wont be disappointed. When I left today after my cut all the other employees had attitude issues and it was quite uncomfortable. Lexi has the right attitude on life and her job . Thanks Lexi

I am very picky about who cuts my hair and beard. I found Raelynn on a walk in and never have looked back. She went out on leave and even made a recommendation as to who I should see. My haircut and beard look awesome every time (or so my wife says). The staff is always friendly; Ive never had to wait if I book an appointment time; and I love the Floyds Hair Products.

My stylist was Dayna, and I was so impressed by her work! I had unruly, untrimmed hair that really needed help and not only did she style my hair beautifully, she changed my whole look for the better just off the few directions I gave her. Im honestly blown away by what a fantastic hair cut I got and wont go anywhere else now! Place was so clean, they played good music, and everyone inside was warm and friendly. Thank you ladies!

I had been hearing a lot of hype about Floyds which drew me in. My overall is offerings are high priced for what you get.Upon arrival the whole place was buzzing with energy, and lots of people waiting which I did take as a positive.The stylist that I got was very friendly asked what i wanted which was just a clean up.In past experience with stylists they usually ask probing questions and make recommendation based on what they see and hear, lifestyle etc.. My experience was more part of a production line.After a mediocre personal experience i was offered some up sells which i respectfully declined.I doubt ill be back unless its in a pinch, but with other options at 1/2 the cost and same result i see no need.

I love the atmosphere that Floyds offers to start off with. They also play awesome music, have friendly and just a great place to be. I have been seeing Megan B since she has been there and does an amazing job keeping my hair just how I want it. She also pays a ton of attention to detail. She also cuts my kids hair and is able to help us better understand out youngests curly hair. Megan also did am excellent job dying the oldest hair for Pride! Fantastic service!

I always get a respectable haircut at this location! The wait was shorter than quoted and my stylist was friendly. Cant ask for much more!

Staff was nice but the quality of the haircut was poor. Took 45 mins to give me a fade and to be honest kind of butchered it. Jagged transitions and some lengths of hair are longer in places. Not sure if employee was new or lacked training, but the quality of the haircut was subpar.

Forced to go on the weekends when they are very busy. I usually call first and show up a few minutes after I call. Sometimes the wait is over an hour but if you go in they usually get you in before waiting the full time. Always great service!!!
