I am very glad to have found Terrys garage after a couple of other fancy shops ( including a Lexus dealer ) charging us a pretty penny failed to diagnose the persistent check engine light issue on our 2002 Lexus ES300. It took a few tries but his persistence paid off. Throughout the process, he will explain the issue and also listen to you which is a rarity these days. Best of all, he is passionate about cars. What more can you ask? Just bring your car there, your car and wallet will thank you.

Terry was very knowledgeable about my Acura’s suspension, fit my job into his schedule and had me back on the road in a couple hours.

Headed out of Denver to Colorado Springs. Went to apply brakes and had none. Was able to coast into an OReillys Auto Parts right at closing. The guys at OReillys checked out the brake line and found the front passenger line had blown. They called Terry here and he said he could get my truck in as soon as the part was available. The manager from OReillys finished the business day, drove my truck to Car Nuts and then went to another OReillys to get the brake line and brought it back. Terry worked on the vehicle and got me back on the toad to Colorado Springs around 12am. He really saved the day for me and i will be bringing my truck back up to him for other work. He is fantastic and accommodating!

Terry did a great job inspecting and fixing any issues when I bought a used car. He’s thorough, punctual, and very knowledgeable. I can’t recommend him enough.

My Uncle called and was quoted around 800 for A/C repairs on my car. I called 3 days later to check the quote and was put around 1200. When i told the guy my uncle had bought my car in and was quoted less he told me hed only honor the lower price for him but not for me. Even though its my car and I was inquiring about the same repairs. Pink tax much? Neither him nor I will ever give this shop our business.

Ive brought Terry my ancient Acura (98 3.2 TL) and hes always, ALWAYS managed to solve long-standing problems the first time, every time. Plus, he charges less than anybody else Ive used, and that makes him special to me.He works hard, hes the ONLY mechanic at Car Nuts, which he now owns outright, and hes honest to a fault. If you want your car worked on correctly, go to Terry.Note: I ALWAYS round up another $50 or $100 because, in my opinion, he undervalues himself and I want to make sure he stays in business. I think of it as a tip, but he is always grateful when I pay him more than he quoted me.

I had them do a pre-purchase inspection for me on a 1961 Corvette I was looking at buy as I dont live in Denver. I specifically said I was concerned about the frame. I was assured the car was a good driver car. I made the deal, but once i got it shipped home I found the frame was unsafe. The frame had several bad welds and holes. On top of that, there are gas and exhaust leaks. I was wrong to trust their inspection.
